Hello Ladies!

Up early today with lots to do - taxes, financial aid forms, mamo, and all the standard errands.

Tammy, Carole, Pamela - Sounds like we all had the same kind of week! Hopefully we can energize eachother! Jane sound like you can use so it too :)

I may do an Imax today or CK. I'll post later but its a cardio day.

Pamela - Sorry to hear about the job interview. That happened to me on 2/1. I went in not thinking I wanted it but really hit it off with the VP. She was tough, but brilliant. I know how disapointing it can be but it just means there is something else that is a better fit out there for you. I suddenly have 3 interviews (1 is a phone screen with the hiring manager - I passed HR) next week so it can happen and will happen to you.

This is the week my DD travels all around: Venice, Barcelona, Rome, London! WOW

DS has a vacation week - so I'm taking 3 days off. The interviews are taking a good amount of time though! We start the college search too.

Reading this post I see why I had no energy to workout out. It was all going elsewhere.

My guy friends have been awesome recently with one exception. My friend who is abroad for a year has been a total jerk. Ever since I told him about the "date/not a date", he has been non existant, no emails, IMs etc. I'm more annoyed that I didn't expect it from him. At least I have some other very good guy friends.

Sorry I'm rambling! Have a great day ladies!

Morning all!

I was supposed to run this morning but missed my window of opportunity because I slept in. I think sleeping in was better;)

Last night I did KPC.

I'll have to figure out what cardio to do today to replace the run. I also have to do shoulders and core.

Robyn - sounds like you have TONS going on in your life right now!

Have a great day!

Hi ladies.

Robyn-Shelley is right! Your life sounds BUSY BUSY BUSY! How lucky DD gets to see those places!

Shelley-I'm just curious. You slept in, but why can't you run sometime today instead of this morning (just being nosy, sorry.).

I was up early today, as planned, and it turned out to be a kickbox morning for me. I did Cardio Kicks, followed by Kick Max blasts and leg conditioning drills, then Core Max #2. Feeling good and loving the extra calorie burn, since I'm planning on enjoying a few treats later today.

Have an awesome Saturday!

Gayle

LOL... I see Wendy is on her rebounder today:)

Hello everyone!! Robyn I started back exercising last Monday, the 13th, after taking a week off. It didn't hurt me endurance-wise but that was the longest I've ever taken off since I started exercising April 28, 2003 and dropped my weight. I think four days was the longest before this time. After the January rotation and one week into the February rotation, I was feeling burnt out (burnt to a crisp actually!!). It did me good.

Looks like everybody has a plan today. I have a long cardio day on the Feb rotation. PowerMax and Low Impact Step. Good combination.

Have a wonderful Saturday. It has been gorgeous here all week with highs in the high 60's/low 70's and now since the weekend is here, it is rainy, cold and calling for sleet and freezing rain as we progress through the day and weekend. Bummer....

Good Morning Fit Chicks!!!

Today I am going to do HCXtreme#3 and some ab work.

Robyn: You have a lot on your plate these days. What colleges are you visiting?

Shelley: YAY!!! Shelley slept in! Enjoy your workout...I know you'll find some kicka** cardio to do.

Gayle: Awesome combination today!

Wendy aka Tigger: LOL!!!

Jane: PowerMax is a blast...love those 360's!

Carole: I'm right up there with you on age;)...we can still pack a punch though!

Sandra: I hope you are feeling better! How are the girls doing?

Hello to all that follow....have a great Saturday!!

Good morning everyone,

No workout for me yesterday. As the day progressed I started feeling super achy in every muscle, and by late afternoon had developed a fever. At first I thought it was a bug, but then realized that part of my left breast is tender. So, I think I have a plugged milk duct, or mastitis. The treatment for that is to keep the breast as empty as possible, take anti-inflammatories (Ibuprofen), and hope that it resolves itself. So I had to wake up every two hours last night and pump. Some time around 4am my fever broke, and my lower back stopped feeling like it was driven over by a truck. If my fever stays down, then I think I've managed to avoid having to take antibiotics. I'm not sure whether I'll do a workout later on today, or not. If I do, it will probably be the CardioKicks that I had planned to do yesterday.

Robyn - all those job interviews are very exciting!!! Good luck!!

Shelley - I, too, was wondering why you don't do a run later? I'm thinking it has something to do with child care? I remember you saying eons ago that your significant other was home in the mornings to watch Sophia while you ran?

Gayle - awesome idea about CK and the KM blasts/LCD. If I'm feeling up to it, I may give it a go myself later on today :) Did you do the drills at the end of CK? How long was the workout?

Wendy - too funny!!! I'm glad you're having so much fun with your rebounder.

Jane - interesting cardio combination today. Enjoy!

Tammy - woohoo! HCE#3 is, IMO, the hardest of the three. Have a great sweat fest! The kids are doing great, thanks for asking. The fact that they are not sick was another clue to me that my fever may not be germ-related. I don't think it's ever happened that I've been sick while they've been healthy. Kate is sitting up on her own, for a few minutes at a time. Just don't blow on her, or she'll fall over :)

Have a good day!
Sandra

Hey ladies:

I can't run during the day today because it's just me and Sophie. My SO had to go to work, and I can't leave her here on her own. He doesn't get home until about 7:30 tonight. It's times like these I wish I had a treadmill.

Whooo hooo another Saturday and I got a workout in. I did Kickbox Underground this morning with weighted gloves, nice intermediate workout to round out my high intensity week.

Have a great day!!:)

Annette-I may have to invest in a pair of the weighted gloves for myself.

Shelley-I would not be a so-called-runner if it weren't for my treadmill. That baby got me thru 90% of my marathon training! I think it's time to treat the bugger to a lube job! LOL ;)

Sandra-I did KM blasts and conditioning drills right after CK. I'm not really sure how long the entire thing was...on the weekends I don't worry about what time it is! LOL (during the week, I have it down to the very second when I need to be out of my basement and getting the kids out of bed in order to make it to the busstop right on time, lol). I would have to say about 80 minutes. CK is 60 (didn't do the cool down, went right to KM). It was good and fun and hurt! LOL

Gayle

Hi.

Just finished the Intermediate rebounding w/o. I was sweating buckets!

I've worked out 8 days in a row now...I usually don't do that. I think tomorrow will be a rest day before I pick back up with Cathe on Monday!}(

I'll have to avoid the urge to bounce until I finish the January rotation now!;)....Only 1.5 weeks left! WOO HOO!

TTFN!:)

Sandra: I hope your mastitis clears up quickly. I remember having it...it is SO painful. HCXtreme#3 is killer..I was sweating buckets! I love the visual of Kate sitting up...too cute;)

Annette: Great workout...you sound very energized!

Wendy: Just think of it as bouncing your way back into the January rotation!:7:7

Lisa: Push-ups always leave me feeling totally worked out...no?

Sandra - I remember that well. I had mastitis nursing my son, my firstborn. I did have it with my daughter. I remember how painful it was.

Great job on the January rotation Wendy. It's awesome isn't it?

My w/o is complete. PowerMax and LIS is a good combination.

We are braving the weather this evening and going out to eat. It is sleeting a little here. DH said if he had to get the sled dogs out, we were going to Longhorn....LOL....

Robyn...I would much rather workout than do what you are doing today!!!...:)..maybe your friend abroad is a little miffed about the other date...:)

Shelley...I did Imax2 yesterday instead of a run

Great workout Gayle!!

Wendy and the rebounder...:)

Enjoy your long cardio Jane..

Tammy...yes we can still pack a mighty punch!! You are doing that today...:)

Sandra..sorry about the achy, fever, tender breast stuff...:(...I hope you can avoid the antibiotics too...rest is good...:)

Good for you Annette, getting in a Sat workout!

Lisa...good job on the push-ups...

I am doing Yoga today, maybe Baron and abs if I have time.

Funny as last Saturday it was about 80 here...today on the way to church, it was snowing like mad!!!

Have a great day...:)...Carole

Well, I ended up doing Imax 3, HSC core and shoulders (3 sets 12 overhead press, 3 sets 12 lat raise, 3 sets barbell upright rows, 3 sets rear delt flies, 3 sets rear delt flies with the band). I also ate enough to maintain a small third world country for a week:p

Sandra - so sorry to hear about your mastitis (if that's what it is). I was lucky and didn't have that at all with Sophie. I hope it clears up soon!

Gayle - I've been eyeing treadmills for a while now. I'm just not sure it's in the budgetx(
