Daily Check in Feb. 11

Okay, I guess I'll start this today. I hope everyone is enjoying a low pressure Saturday morning.:)

I have appointments in a couple of hours so I'll swill my coffee, scarf my banana and head down to do LowMax. My arms are buzzing from yesterday's PUB so the lower body is feeling jealous. If I had more time I'd try Sandra's inspired HSTA mish mosh, maybe tomorrow.

No workmen here today!!! They've replaced all the doors downstairs, renovated a bathroom and removed a 3' cement wall at the perimeter of our sunroom. The end results are amazing but the process SUCKS!:)

Hey Laurie and all who follow!

Have fun doing Low Max. That's such a great work out!

Well, since I missed my work out yesterday I am trying to figure out what I want to do today. The rotation calls for PUB and a 30 min run (which I'd sub w/ something else). I missed L&G and hi/lo yesterday. I was considering one of the following options to try to make some of it up:

1) L&G or PUB this morning and the other one later on in the day or evening and saving the missed hour of cardio for the future.

2) Doing L&G & then all of the missed cardio today and PUB tomorrow (which is technically a rest day) and then resume with the schedule rotation as planned. It would lengthen my time w/o a rest by a couple of days but just doing upper body tomorrow shouldn't be bad for me. I think I'd be fine.

Any opinnions on which to do?

Morning ladies. Today for me was CTX Upper Body Split followed by the 2nd 5 intervals of IMAX. Tomorrow is a rest day for me. Yea, I can sleep in!!

I think I'm going to do a little pant shopping today... yuck! I hate shopping for pants.

Good morning,

Last night I used the Timesaver dvd to make up a 65 minute workout that alternated the Step Blast combos with the KPC drills. I finished with KPC abs and stretch.

Laurie - if you try the HSTA mish mosh, be sure to let me know how you like it! I LOL at your comment about your lower body feeling jealous. LowMax will take care of that really quick! There was some footage of Kingston on the news the other night. Made me really want to be there....

Wendy - I'd probably go for the second option. While I love PUB, it doesn't give you much of a cardio kick, nor uses your lower body at all, so it's do-able on a rest day.

Katie - pant shopping is only fun if you're in perfect shape and can afford to spend a lot of money. I'm not much of a fan, either :) Good luck! And you will deserve that rest day tomorrow!

Today I'm either going to do Hardcore Extreme #1, or High Step Challenge. It may depend on how much birthday cake I eat at my friend's house this afternoon.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will be Viper, KM LCD and some ab work. I'm back to working my abs every day. I tried just the 2-3 day option...and well...it just wasn't working for me!:eek:

Laurie: LowMax}(...so much FUN! It's on FitTV today. You'll have to post some remodel pix when the work is all done.

Wendy: I vote for option #2 also!

Katie: Good luck with your pants shopping!

Sandra: Did you say birthday cake? YUM!!! I've got 5 family birthdays coming up in the next few weeks...uh oh! I love both HC#1 and HSC so you can't go wrong with either one...enjoy!

We are right on the fringe of the nor'easter...hopefully we will only get a few inches.

Well, I went out last night and danced from 11:30 until 4:30 this morning, with very few breaks. And when I dance, I DANCE. So I will be taking a rest day today and get back at it tomorrow. In fact, I don't plan on getting out of my pjs today:)
 
Hey,look gals, I got a Sat. workout in!!! Dh took middle ds to tennis so I was able to get a workout in. Later I will be carrying 12 ft sheet of drywall up the stairs so my workout really isn't finished,LOL!! I did Hardcore Kickbox Circuit today!! It was nice!!

I guess great minds think alike then girls! ;)

While I was doing L&G (I just finished about 15 mins ago), I had kinda decided that I liked option # 2 better myself!:+

When I do my cardio a bit later on it's going to be 60 mins, 1/2 hi/lo and 1/2 step...what better to do on a cold, snowy evening then work up a sweat, ey? }( ;) ;) :)

Hi ladies. Crazy week and I haven't posted much. It's noon and I'm exhausted - had to walk to get the car (mile and half) it's freezing.... shower... meet with the kitchen remodeling guy at the shop... grocery shop... (storm coming so the stores were mobbed)..

Lots more errands to do (storm tonight so doing 2 days in one - as is everyone else) but I'll do KPC tonight and really post then!

Annette, I'm the same way......excited that I got a Sat. workout in!
I woke up and did PLB while everyone was sleeping.
Yesterday was short cardio and PUB.
Tomorrow is my first rest day since starting the Feb rotation and my body is looking forward to it !!!;-)

I hope everyone's enjoying the weekend.

Carole: Sun? Lay out? Oooh, you just HAD to rub it in, didn't you? Oh that sounds so devine...it will be about 4 1/2 more months before I can get out on my deck and not freeze my tushy off! Have fun with HSC, I like that one too!

Hey gals...I'm off to do part 2 of my work out now!

I think I'll do the first 30 mins of circuit max (including warm up and leaving out the weight segments) and then finish up with a CTX cardio of choice. I was going to do 1/2 hi/lo and 1/2 step but who knows...I'm just gonna go with what ever I feel like at the moment!

First 30 mins of CM (inc w/u w/o wt work) and then CTX KB kickboxing cardio only (no arm drills) plus c/d and stretch...55 mins. PHEW! That whooped my butt!}(
