Daily Check-In - April 10/06

Hey all,

This morning I did MIC. I had no desire to do this workout today. But I have a policy that I must at least start my workout. I can quit any time I want, but I at least owe it to myself to start. So I did, and I managed to make to the end of the third step combo before deciding to lower my step to 6". This workout just didn't click with me today. Oh well, there's always tomorrow's workout :)

Carole - I've been eating the maintenance version of ETL since last Wednesday and so far it's been quite good. One of these days I will email you to talk about it. We're moving in about 3 weeks and I'm swamped with To Do Lists.

So it's day # 3 of no work outs for me cause I am sick. BLECH! I can't wait to get better! When I did my work out on Friday I already felt like I was coming down w/something but I was hoping it wouldn't materialize...guess THAT hope was smashed, ey? LOL

Good afternoon fitness folks...


I am going to consolidate some of my w/o's this week since I'll be leaving Friday on vacation.

Today was circuit day and I got my kickboxing in there too. I did the Kickbox Cardio Drills+KB&Strength 82 minute circuit from KPC/LG. That is a great circuit!!
 
Super late check-in today. I just didn't get my groove on at all, today my agenda was irrelevant, I had to go with the flow of those surrounding me and by 6:00 this evening I was ready to explode. I dropped my DD off at guitar lessons and went to get a filtre for my Shop-vac. I ended up running into a friend at the store and savoured an uninterrupted 30 minute conversation. An unexpected oasis in an otherwise pretty crappy day......end of vent:)

I did manage to squeeze in most of PUB this morning (even that was interrupted x( but that's another story)

I hope your run went well, Shelley. I love to run, and I have a right knee issue, so I am seeing an orthopedist in a couple of weeks. I wear a very light knee brace, and I can do Cathe high impact most of the time, but I don't do high impact every day. I like the Powerstrikes because most of them is low impact.

I am posting very late today, as I have been so busy first with my son and now with my daughter. My workout today consisted of the first four step combos of Christi's Totally Cool Step, plus the step and hi low section of Step Jump and Pump. It lasted over an hour and burned over 500 calories. I have a wonderful boyfriend who enables bad eating habits in me. He bought a huge cheesecake last night which had all kinds of assorted flavors in it.

I hope all you fit ladies had wonderful workouts.
 
Judy, lucky you, six miles. I hope to be able to do it again, and Phyllis, I love kickboxing. I don't think I will have time to even read the rest of this checkin as I have to help my son with his homework.

I want to know how most of you fit in work, working out, and family. Sometimes, I find it impossible.
