Good morning ladies!

I don't see this posting today. Hope everyone is getting well deserved sleep.

Not sure what I'm doing today. I'm meeting a friend tomorrow for drinks who said he is running 15 miles today - so I better do something!

I'll post once I figure out what I'm doing.

I took a 3 hr nap yesterday and a day off. I feel so much better today!

Looking forward to seeing everyone's posts!

Good morning Robyn, and all that follow

Robyn, I was very happy to read about your son..:)...and yes when we can, we need to remember the things we are all grateful for! Can't wait to hear about your "date" tomorrow with the runner...:)

I also took a rest day yesterday, I was getting my 2 PC's set up thru a router...took me some time...:)

I'll be doing a trail run today. 14-16 miles depeneding on how tired we get! I'll be running with my sister and another good running friend.

Have a great day...http://bestsmileys.com/exercising/5.gif[/img]...Carole

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will be a run on the treadmill with CardioCoach#4 and AbRipperX!

Robyn: I'm glad you are feeling better...naps are great, aren't they?

Carole: I missed you yesterday, but I'm glad you took a rest day. Enjoy your run today!

Wendy: Enjoy your rest today too....tomorrow is coming!

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Hi everyone,

It's a gorgeous day here.... 4C, breezy wind from the north, bright blue skies, sun in my face, all the makings for a great run!!

And I did! 12,3K of effortless running. I had planned on a walkbreak every 3K, but I didn't need it. I've had such a wonderful run. My legs just kept going and I had to make a conscious effort to stop. Does that sound silly?

I did MM-Legs when I got home, had a quick shower and am enjoying some rice milk (fortified with calcium). Does anyone know why drinks that have calcium in them are always sweetened? I hate sweet tasting drinks (except natural juices).

Sandra, runervals are running w/o for the tread mill with coach Troy (from the Spinervals). I previewed one yesterday. Not sure I like it. But he, that's how I felt about coach Sean until I finally did one. Now I love it.

Hope you all have just as great a w/o as I did ;-)

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I did Cardio and Weights. This finished week 3 of Cathe's Feb '05 rotation. I'm looking at week 4, and I can't say I have a lot of motivation to do it. I'll probably do it, as I don't like to leave things unfinished, but I think I'm ready to give fat-loss rotations a break for a bit (I've done 3 in a row).

Robyn - You've repeatedly mentioned meeting this friend tomorrow. You've got us all interested, so make sure you post a report :)

Carole - enjoy your long run today.

Wendy - are you carbo-loading for the month to come? :) :)

Tammy - have a great day!

Dutchie - Tropicana pure orange juice comes fortified with calcium, with no added sugars. It's yummy. Thanks for the info about Runervals. DH has a few Spinervals, so I might consider getting a Runerval workout for the treadmill some day. Does Coach Troy actually run with you this time, or does he just stand and shout at you, like in the Spinervals? :)

Baby Kate picked up a cold from her big sister last week. It's hard watching a baby deal with a cold because you can't give them anything to help clear the congestion. Poor baby. She woke up a few times last night because she couldn't breathe. This morning she's snotting all over the place. But of course, she's as happy as a lark; couldn't care less.

I worked on my thesis for 20 hours last week (4 hours a day for 5 days). This is the most I've managed to work on it in at least a year. I'm very happy to be making some progress. Today is a day off (both thesis work and workouts), so we'll be doing family stuff for the day. We began the day with chocolate chip pancakes (white flour; nothing nutritionally redeeming about them).

Have a good day!
Sandra

Hey ladies,

This week I was unable to finish the third week of my rotation so I will do the rotation again for Feb. and start with the third week. I really have been enjoying this one.

Today I will do the low impact verson of kickmax minus the leg work a the end where as it is too much balancing on my one foot. Then I will put in some abs, just don't know what just yet.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Ahh, Sunday. It's a lovely day here - beautiful blue sky, about 60 F and breezy. Kind of feels like spring already. That, of course, means it should be lovely for a run!

In just a few minutes I'm headed out and will do 4 or 4.5 miles. That's all my knee can handle before it starts complaining. Then I'm going to see how many walking lunges I can do (max has been 100,but I know I can do more). I'll come back in and do some leg exercises - I'm going to try something along the Freestyle lines, but not sure of he routine yet. Then abs. Maybe Core Max 3. And a good stretch!

I hope everyone enjoys the afternoon and has a good Monday tomorrow!

Hi everyone:

I just did BootCamp. I love that work out. I felt energized after the added rest day. I may do a week of intensity series. I'm not sure if it's the effect of LM, KM, IMax 3 with the GS that made the workout so much better or the rest day but I felt great!

Carole: I agree with Tammy I missed you yesterday! Hope you had a good run.

Wendy: Enjoy the rest day. You deserve it.

Tammy: Yes naps are WONDERFUL!

Dutchie: Sounds like a beautiful day there.

Sandra: Aww I hope Kate is feeling better

Shannon: How was your run? Sounds like you had a nice day too.

Kim: Hope the workout was good!

Yep, I'll let you know how drinks go. Gosh have I mentioned it that much! He actually is a PT so I'm glad I've been working out a lot! So cool this am chatted with my DD in France, my good guy friend in Malaysia! I just got invited to a cousins wedding in FL in March... hmm... I have only been away 1 day from my son since 7/04 may be good for both of us.

Sandra...that is great you got thru the 3rd week of the rotation!!! Only one more week to go...you can do it...:)...than pick a way fun one...are there any?...:)

ahhh...thanks for missing me Tammy & Robyn...:)

I had a great run. 15 miles was alot eaiser than the 14 I did last week. I am hoping I am getting my endurance back...

Good workouts all around....:)...Carole

Carole - I'm glad your run was better today. I can't imagine your endurance lagging for long, you are just too fit.

Sandra- I'm sorry baby Kate has a cold. A baby with a cold is not fun, I remember well.

Well I amazed myself with my w/o today. I wanted to finish this January rotation so bad after getting behing and I almost did it today.

I did BodyMax this morning and IMAX3 tonight. I never would have imagined I could do these two w/o's in one day. I owe it to the January rotation. This was definitely an excellent rotation for building up endurance!!

I have a 30 min run left to do which I will do tomorrow. (It will seem like a rest day with just a 30 minute run to do!!)

Have a good night everyone, see you tomorrow.

>Thanks Tammy and Carole... those words mean a lot coming from
>you guys.:)

Jane: You did the work...and in the midst of it all you had to deal with a heartbreaking tragedy. Your strength is incredible. Stand proud!
