hi, everyone - just sharing a neat story...an incredible journey from Atlanta to NYC that is going on right now. 12 Georgia firefighters & emergency responders are cycling from ATL to NYC to honor the memory of those we lost in the attacks on 9-11-01. The departed ATL last Friday morning & today they are riding on the Blue Ridge Pkwy in NC. one of them is my soon-to-be brother-in-law, Mike Palmeri. he is one of the guys interviewed in the link below.

some of you may live along the route so you may be interested to see when they come thru your town. they are keeping a blog and also have a Facebook page, Freedom Ride 2011. this ride has been in the works for about 2 yrs now & it is really great to see it come together.
