CTX & barbell questions...

Hi! I'm considering purchasing the CTX series. Would you guys recommend this series as far as music and production quality are concerned? Also...the obvious question...do you like the workouts themselves? Yes, I did do a search on CTX but found nothing mentioning the music. I don't a have high speed internet connection so the music I end up hearing is choppy at best.

I also do not have a barbell yet. I saw a post recommending Troy Lite barbell. I think I'm going to order one unless I hear of a better recommendation soon.

I'd really appreciate your inputs! Thanks!

You can't go wrong with CTX. I love the worksouts. They are good for short days. You can also do two cardios for an intense cardio workout, or do the upper body and leaner legs for a full body weight workout. So many possibilities! I love the music and the moves. It is very high impact, so beware if you have weak knees.

I use the troy lite barbell ,and I love it. I got mine for $18.50 at www.fitness1st.com

Thanks Lorrie! That's where I was going to order my barbell from and I was intending on buying the barbell set that includes the 40lbs in plates. I think it's only around $49 before shipping. Seems very reasonable.

Hi,

I purchased the Troy Lite Barbell set from the mentioned website and I really do love it. The barbell is not too long and the weights are covered with rubber. It's a quality fitness piece. I paid about $78.00 with shipping. I didn't mind the price too much because I used my garage sale profits to buy it.:)

Enjoy.
