cross training with pilates

I noticed that my work outs improved as did my posture and abs since I started pilates along with my workouts.
I was wondering if anyone else is doing pilates out there ?
I am using a book along with a class on how to do pilates which is fun .. but I don't know many people who are mixing aerobics with this like step or floor or kick boxing

I know it has been a while since I posted... but it has been NUTS plus I got sick

Hi Stevie! I've been doing Pilates now for 5 months and do incorporate it into my other cardio activities. I too have seen a remarkable difference in my stomach area. It's much flatter now. But I also do Power Yoga using Volume 2 from Bryan Kest (Tone). I do Pilates once a week and Power Yoga once a week. Also do step using one of Cathe's videos and I also like to do kickboxing by Janis Saffell's tapes. I don't have any rest days because I love doing so many different activities. All this cross training has helped me to become much leaner and more muscular using Cathe's PS tapes. Keep up the good work and maybe try Power Yoga into your routine. Take care, Kathy

thanks for your input. I am still quite a Pilates beginner--working with an instructor and also a book at home to improve my form..... Brooke Silers The Pilates Body.
anyway.. I like to do the Pilates before I do step or any other cardio so that I can be in good form and have good ab tone when I do the other activities.
I do have the Saffell kickboxing tape as well as several of Cathe's tapes and yoga..... well that is not my thing really. I did it years ago and that is why I went into aerobics.
