Cross-Training Videos

Is anyone using these videos 6 days a week, just like they are, cardio, weight training, etc?

I want to try to do them like Cathe has them but wondering what others thought, and if you are doing them that way, are you getting some good response in your body?

I did Power Circuit this morning and am feeling it in my back already.

I did the kickboxing cross trainer on Thursday, only the cardio, and wow I felt that for two days in my back and arms. What a great workout that was.

...and don't I love the no-brainer (on my part)scheduling for my little workout calendar for the week!!! The weight workouts are plenty!

This is totally perfect for me, especially with the second leg workout in Power Circuit. I am VERY happy with this CTX series.

I'm also using them as is, as they came in the box, for 8 weeks. Can't tell you how well they work since I just started the rotation today, but I really enjoyed today's workout! Knowing Cathe, I'm sure they are extremely effective!

Hi Rhonda! Yes for 2 weeks now I've been doing Cathe's tapes one day at a time. I work Back first, then Biceps, then Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, and then Leaner Legs. I save Friday for my day when I want to anything. Haven't done Circuit Max or Cardio Kicks yet so probably this Friday I'll do Circuit Max. Yes, I've been getting great results from doing it this way. More cut in my arms and Cathe's cut my bodyfat down. Must be due to working my muscles completely different and doing cardio every day. I plan on taking Cathe's suggestion and do this rotation for 5 weeks. Then after the fifth week, go back to working one day back, biceps and abs, the next day cardio, next day chest, shoulders and triceps, then power yoga, then legs, then pilates, then kickboxing. I was planning on doing it that way then some were saying it was too much cardio (too hard core) and was beginning to wonder. I did Power Circuit yesterday and Step in Intervals today. Think I will do the kickboxing one tomorrow.

I am so far enjoying it. The s-n-i was a bit much this morning but I think I will enjoy it. Have to get down the moves more. I really modified because I have a bad knee and don't want to make it worse but I got a great workout. Sweating and breathing hard.

I'm doing mine a little differently,

Since I teach classes and coach soccer I've set mine up to where on all days except Tues&Thurs, I do 2 CTX tapes a day. And only 1 on T&T. Of course, my boss called me today and wants to start WED. night classes so my Wed will go down to 1 also. That kinda sucks for me

. Anyway, I plan on doing this rotation for 4weeks, then doing a rotation with BodyMax, CircutMax, Cardio Kicks, TWV, Step Heat, & MSB. Of course, now I have to factor in my new class schedule, but it should still remain pretty much the same. I haven't noticed any changes yet, but I just started this rotation on Fri. so it's really too soon to tell. Good Luck with your tapes
