Crazy, Strong & Loving It for Memorial Day Weekend

Thought we could just keep this thread going until Tuesday and then start another one after the holiday.

Today was suppose to be Cardio & Weights but I'm having a bowel movement problem. I know, tmi, but that's the deal. I'm in some pain and hopefully soon I will be better. Not sure what's going on, I haven't changed my eating habits. Plus I haven't had anything to eat since around 7 p.m. last night. So what the heck could still be inside? :confused:

Anyways, I'm itching to do STS again so I think I'm going to start that rotation soon. I'm trying to decide if I'll take this week as an active recovery week and just do cardio a couple times until June 7th. Then I'll start STS. I think that's the route I'll go. I am very frustrated because I've been doing the endurance rotation I made up for 7 weeks now and haven't lost one freakin' pound. Not one. I'm holding at 137.2# and have been there forever.

I think when I start STS I'll keep track of my eats again. I may do the three low days, one high and see how that goes. I gotta control my eating and get back to being serious or I'm going to just keep gaining and I don't want that.

Gotta get my mind right so that's what I'll do this next week.

I hope you all have the best Memorial Day weekend! Luckily no rain in our forcast so I'm happy about that. Hoping to do some riding this weekend. :eek:
 
Good Morning,

I went to the fitness center this am and rode the stationary bike something I won't do again my knee didn't really like it and then I was going to come home and do Total Body Sculpting but I need AAA batteries for my remote. I seem to be having alot of problems with dvd players lately. I have to attend a family reunion tomarrow and its suppose to rain, but today I am going to lay out in the sun for awhile then clean house and hopefully go for a walk with DH later.

Debbie-hope your tummy issues get better. I am itching to try another round of Chalene Extreme.
 
Well my workout was my 5K. I did a PR of 24:12 and placed 2nd overall female. The 1st place chick really should be discounted. She's freaking training for the Olympics for crying out loud. No female ever beats her in the races here. Humph.

Debbie - feel better soon.

Roxie - sorry the bike didn't work out for you. At least you got something done though.

I pushed myself to do Step Moves today. I really didn't want to, but felt great doing it and afterwards! So glad I pushed myself!

Work this weekend as usual for me.

Debbie: I hear ya on the frustration with not losing weight. At least you're at a reasonable weight! I really should lose about 10 lbs. Frustrating is not even the word. I workout MORE, changed up to more cardio. I swear, I eat ONE freakin thing off (like a cup of almonds last night) and bam! I'm screwed for the entire week. It makes me crazy some days. Other days I just figure I'm doing ok and am healthy.

Heather: CONGRATS on your race and placing!!! You are amazing!!!! Have a wonderful rest of the day today!

Roxie: Nice workouts! enjoy your sun!!!! The weekends are the days I wish for the sun to go away, it's easier to sleep during the day! LOL!

Chris-weekends are the only time I get to enjoy the sun.

Going to a family reunion today so if I get anything done it will be later and be some kind of stretch. I am going to do nothing but yoga and pilates this week and then start another round of CLX.
 
Hi ladies - today I did Pyramid Upper and MMA kickboxing. Wow PUB always gets me. I have no doubt I'll be sore tomorrow.

This was a fun workout and really made me sweat buckets. KCM will give ya a good workout no doubt about it. She’s no Cathe but she is still delivers a good fun challenging workout.

Hi ladies. Hope everyone has had a great weekend. Mine has been PACKED. Today I did PLB and MMA Boxing. I have major DOMS from PUB and expect the same for PLB tomorrow.
 
Hi everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

I ended up taking a rest day on Saturday. Felt zero guilt, so I must have needed it. Sunday morning I did CCPP on my bike. That always seems to fly by for me. This morning I did 4DS HIS followed by CTX chest. My arms were shaking for quite some time after that.

We are about to end our weekend with a nice walk around the neighborhood and a campfire in the back yard complete with s'mores. We bought these HUMUNGOUS marshmallows at the grocery store on Saturday. It about killed me to pay the $2.99 for the bag when a bag of regular-size marshmallows were right beside it for $.99, but DD and I got such a kick out of them I couldn't resist...:cool: I actually think these are even too big for the graham crackers, but I can't wait to find out...YUMMY!!!!

I just finished my workout. I had to rest and cool down after Insanity today so I had about an hour break between Insanity and KCM Muscle Definition. This is my final week of Insanity, yeah! I've enjoyed it but I think I'm ready for a change now. I will enjoy using the Insanity workouts to plug into any workout routine replacing cardio days. Insanity is also awesome with any of Cathe's strength workouts as they compliment each other very well. I've used Insanity with Cathe's 4DS weight premixes, CTX Upperbody split and Leaner Legs, Butts & Guts portions, Legs & Glutes, naturally Gym styles is great too, and of course STS weights.


Here's today's workout:

Calories burned= 864

KCM- 30 Min to Fitness Workout Muscle Definition #2= 34 Min

Hi girls,

I got released from the hoptial Friday night:) We took DD to DC, tomorrow DH and I are driving back to GA. I have an appointment with the ENT doctor on Wedenesday. The way it looks we will fly back to Germany on June 9, depends on the doctor. Haven't worked out since last Sunday. Since we already missing our flight on June 1, DH and I will go down to Florida for a few more days! At least we have a few day vacation:eek:
