Good morning,

Today is cardio, not sure what yet! Haven't done Intensity in awhile, mmm....??

Oh, btw! Went for a walk with my dogs again. The snow is finally melting, I can walk again without slipping on ice:) the dogs were so excited! I can not tell you how nice it is to see no snow on the streets again, you can even see parts of the grass again.

Debbie - sorry, I forgot to answer you the other day:confused: DH will be home again on Saturday!

This morning I did a cardio workout and chose Rapid Fire. I did the Shadow Boxing parts and the 1st Kickboxing segment. Had a great workout.

CARDIO STATS:
47 minutes total
2 minutes below zone
18 minutes in zone
28 minutes above zone
385 calories burned


Then I did Rapid Fire Ab Work. LOVE that ab workout!
 
Hi ladies. Sorry I was MIA yesterday. Had a sort of snow day. 2 hour work delay, then I got here and NO ONE was here. Ended up going back home around 12:30 and working from home. I got in a leg workout before work then I did 3 of the step combos and abs from LIC when I got home.

This morning we had another 2-hour delay so I did shoulders and triceps. It's from W3M3

SS#1
Shoulder press (dumbbells) - 21's (up 1#)
Lying triceps extensions (dumbbells) - 17's (up 1#)

SS#2
Seated lateral raises - 13's (up 1#)
1-arm overhead triceps extensions - 14 (up 1#)

SS#3
Seated rear delt flyes - 14's (up 1#)
Double-arm kickbacks (in lieu of lying cross-body kickbacks, which hurt my elbow) - 14's (up 1#)

After work I'm going to hit the gym for my schedule training run. It calls for 2 miles followed by 5-7 speed intervals. It's too icy out to try this outside. I think I can handle this one on the dreadmill (I hope).
 
Belinda - Are you done with the rotation already? I thought I seen you started STS? I thought you had about 2 more weeks to go on that rotation we were doing. Just wondering. :)

Heather - Nice on the snow day. We are suppose to get a ton of snow today. Nice workout!

Chris - We finally realized the smell was in his pee. When we cleaned the cat box out holy crap! We almost fainted from the smell. So I'm hoping he didn't spray anywhere. I'm taking him today to get neutered, so hopefully that smell will disappear. It's so gross!!!

Nora - Wow girl, nice job on Body Max. I haven't done that workotu in its entirety in forever. I just have a real fear factor of that workout. Love bits and pieces of it, but not the whole thing at once. You are an animal!!! :)

I'm also wondering where Roxie, Jess and Jo are at? Anyone know? It's unusual for Roxie not to check in a few times a day. She hasn't been on here in over a week.
 
Debbie - So do you think you'll get a day off from work out of the snow? I bet with Jessica, her not checking in is the new job situation. Not a clue about Roxie though! Maybe we should all send her a message just to make sure she's ok?

Hey Girls!

Tackled Cardio Core Circuit today!!! it was better than last time. Last time I did it, I thought I was going to puke and die. I think maybe it was my body being more fatigued for whatever reason. Today it was hard, but better! Very cool workout!

Belinda: My dog Buddy wishes he were there! He wants to go for a walk in a BAD BAD way! Nice job with Intensity today!

Debbie: That Rapid Fire workout sounds fun! .. Hmm..ya think the kitty might have a urine infection? or be dehydrated and his urine is super strong/concentrated? . ..

Heather: Nice job on the weight work and added cardio! Were the roads bad there? .. We're getting "it" late tonight into tomorrow. Supposed to be a Nor'Easter with about a foot of snow! Looks like the kids will be home from school tomorrow..

Definitely, send Roxie a message! did you already?

For the last year or so my knees don't want to do this dvd. My ankles are twisted, yes, both of them and all the pivoting moves make my ankles feel unstable. I had to modify as much as possible with this. Funny, Imax 2 doesn't seem to bother me that much and is a favorite, go figure?


Jackie Warner-Xtreme Abs- Standing Abs Only= 16 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 109
This is an awesome Ab workout I love that there are two very different ab workouts one is standing and the other is floor work. The standing abs felt very effective and probably means ab DOMS for tomorrow:p YAY!

Total calories burned= 821;)

Debbie - you didn't see my post this weekend? I feel bad for cutting your awesome rotation 2 weeks short:( I wanted to get another round of STS in before we leave in May. I don't know, when we gonna move into a house? Don't know if we gonna buy or rent a place? Since we own an 3 feet long RV, we don't wonna rush into anything right away! The military will store our furniture (houshold goods) up to 1 year! I will not ship a lot of heavy weights, my workouts will be either Insanity or circuit workouts. I need to figure out something for a few month, that doesn't require a lot of equipment in an RV. Your rotations rock! Thanks for everything! BTW, I also lost weight last week, down 2.6lb! Finally!

Heather - awesome shoulder & tricpes workout today. We forgive you ,for not checking in yesterday:p:eek:

Chris - almost did CCC today, lol! That is one tough workout! WTG!

Nora - sorry, IMAX 3 is bordering your knees, glad you modify! High fives, girl!

Where is Roxie? Hope she is ok!

Belinda- Awesome job with Intensity today, and don't forget that walking the dogs does count as exercise too! WTG!!!:):cool:

Debbie- I love Rapid Fire its so much fun and there are lots of premixes on it and the ab work both standing core Med ball and Core floor work are amazing, fabulous workout today and you did abs! ^^^5's:cool:

Heather- Nicely done on your leg workout, step combo's from LIC, and ab work. Later you plan to go to the gym for training run practice, WTG girl!!!:eek::cool:

Debbie- I don't like to do Imax 3 very often because of knee and ankle issues for the last year or so. I do love some of the combos from it and the music is great.

Ok, gotta go to bed. Does anyone know how Roxie, Jessica, and Jo are doing? I'm kinda concerned about them. I certainly wish them all well and hope we hear from them soon!
