CRAZY STRONG & LOVING IT FOR FEB 9, 2011

Today was total body doing supersets. Same workout as last Wednesday.

Did 4 sets/8 reps with each superset. 1 minute 30 second rest between each set.

Upright Rows - 55# (up 5#)
ss w/
Squats - 85#

SS #2
Incline Hammer Curl - 20's ( down 5#)
ss w/
Overhead Tricep Extensions - 20's (up 5#)
***Went down with the hammer curls because 25's were way too heavy last week.

SS #3
Incline Barbell Bench Press - 85# (up 5#)
ss w/
Barbell Row - 80# (up 5#)

I planned on doing Kelly Coffey Meyer's Bonus stretch from her bootcamp workout again but I had a mishap with the last superset. If I set up the leg end of my bench press first with heavy weights, it's so unbalanced that the weight bench flips over. Thats exactly what happened. 80# of weights slammed into my closet mirros and broke the trim on my wall. I was mad but more at myself then the bench because I know that bench does that. However, you would think the manufactures would make a safer bench to hold weight where they have placement for it. Stupid thing!

Hopefully I'll have time to stretch later.

Ab work will be done tomorrow and Saturday.

I took a long walk with my dogs today, I also did yoga from Yogatoday (free class), 53 min! Good stress reliever!

Oh no, Debbie! I can't believe your bench flipped over? I am glad you ok! As always, nice weights girl!

I just finished up today's workout so I'll check in now. I hope that you guys aren't having more snow and ice, that gets old fast.

15 Min Warmup on Spin Bike while listening to music on iPod
Distance= 4.02 Miles
Calories burned= 174
bpm's range 114 to 143. Reached zones I needed.

CTX Leaner Legs= 40 Min No Abs
Met Value=7.0
Calories burned= 382

Jillian Michaels 6 week Six Pack Abs= Level 1= 35 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 239

I'm still feelin' major DOMS from Monday's GS Chest & Tri's ouch! I don't think I should take on GS Back, Shoulders & Bi's until I've recovered from the upperbody DOMS from Monday, yowsa! Jillian is no joke in her 6 week six pack abs yep, I anticipate DOMS from that too! Good stuff!;)

Total calories burned= 795;)

Today I did S&H Legs. I guess I haven't done S&H in a good long time, because I'd forgotten how HARD it is to go UP that slow! Real tough stuff!!!
I did about 30 minutes of Michelle Lemay's Stretch Fusion (DVR'd FitTv), which I remember really liking,... but I ate right before the stretch and there was alot of revolving movements and it made me feel like puking.

I did do 30 minutes though....

Debbie: HOLY MOLY! You weren't hurt were you? That is so scary!!!!

Nora: Awesome cal burn today! So you liked the new Jillian Abs? What's it like?

Debbie- OMG! I hope your ok, that sounded scary. Please be careful and definitely look into a safer bench to use. I'm sure Walmart has something reasonable. I usually will buy alot of my workout stuff from there because its cheaper. I like KCM Bootcamp the stretch is an especially nice treat, I like KCM's workout its fun to mix things up a bit. Take it easy Debbie;):)

Belinda- Nice job with taking in a free yoga class and walking your dogs sounds like a nice relaxing low key day for you, enjoy!:)

Chris- Yes, S&H is a toughie. Its that slower pace and slight 10% bend that really gets ya good. I love all of Cathe's weight workouts are especially thorough and tough and always with excellent form and technique. Excellent work today Chris that's an awesome workout good for you and a nice stretch workout as well, WTG!! To answer your question about Jillian's six pack in six weeks is awesome and does have a sort of hiit cardio element with abs, its done in her usual circuit style of training, its really good. There are some moves I've not done before at all or in this format. Its a keeper, and definitely one I'd recommend. There are two workouts Level 1 you do for 3 weeks, and Level 2 you do for another 3 weeks. Level 2 is more advance. Today was the first time I'd done this workout at all so it was level 1 for me.

Chris - I don't remember the last time I did S&H?:rolleyes: I do remember those wo will get you good. Awesome job! Stretching on a full stomache, not a good idea. I have to wait until my stomache settles down.

Nora - nice cal burn today, girl! I heard nothing but good things about that ab workout.
