Total Body Stretching- Basic Stretching= 14 Min

Total calories burned= 865:cool::D

That was my first time with Tabatacise and it was fun.

Roxie- Good for you with TJ nothing wrong with taking it a bit easier. WTG!! I meant to ask you how are your sister and niece I believe you said had the same thing going on as I do with normal pap and a elevated HPV test. How are they? How long or are they still having to wait six months for retesting and if so how many? Sorry, don't mean to pry just wondering since I'm having to go through this. I appreciate your sharing with me about this if you like you can PM me if you don't wish to respond on the thread. Thanks in advance.

Debbie- No worries not every workout is going to be stellar. I know I sometimes have to drag myself through it and other times I feel I could best even our Cathe so there are crazy extremes and the average feeling workouts too. I always try to give myself a pep talk that I got it and tell myself to be proud of that accomplishment. Besides, we know you are a workout rock star so no need to try to impress us. You rock so remember that!;)

Nora-once they had a normal HPV test then it went back to once a year. Nowadays a women over 40 doesn't need to have a pap every year, I think its now only once every 5 years.
 
Today I did legs and used the workout from STS - Trisets. Had a good workout but my knees are really hurting lately. Especially the right one. I did most of the workout when I got to the 3rd triset workout group, I only did the rounds twice. Not sure what is up with my knees?

Everything was 10 reps with a 1 minute break between each triset.

Narrow Stance Squats - 20's
45 Degree Lunge - 12's
One-Leg Sit & Slides - 12#
***Repeated 2 more times

Static Lunges - 12's
Plie Squats Alternating Hand - 30#

I did Turbo Jam Turbo Sculpt and then went for a 1.90 mile walk outside its really humid here so I was drenched in sweat.

Debbie-good job and please be careful with your knees.

MIA again, I know, I know!

My kids get me so mentally exhausted, .... and mentally down. That' all. Just trying to get through it.

I have been keeping up with working out though.

Yesterday I did Cardio Supersets and Abs from Turbo Barre.

Today I did Push Pull Upper Body Premix, 2 Sets..

These kids REALLY need to go back to school. Thursday won't come fast enough!!!

Cardio today. I think after tomorrow I'm taking my week off. It will end up being more than a week rest but I need it. My knees were killing me during this workout. This time it was my left knee. Not sure what is going on. I'm wondering if I should buy new running shoes when I can. It seems ever since I bought those Brooks I've been having knee and ankle problems. Saucony's never did this to me. Not sure that is the cause but I suppose it could be.

I did Run Fit this morning. Had a good workout despite the pain.

Debbie- Wow, sorry to hear about your knee pain. Yes maybe buying a pair of new Saucony's would take care of it since you never had trouble with that brand before. I've never tried Saucony or Brooks so I couldn't say. My son, Austin, runs and trains for races since running is his passion swears by Saucony. I use Asics 2150's. It sounds like you had a good workout with RunFit today anyway despite the pain. Please take care and be kind to your knees. If you workout tomorrow maybe a walk on the treadmill would be better and just change the elevation I can do that with mine and it will make it harder like your walking up hill. In any case if you workout please try low impact or no impact type workouts, just a suggestion. Be safe and be well my friend. Take care!;):D:cool:

Today I did Turbo Fire 45EZ and Abs 10.

Last day of summer vacation with the boys. I have mixed feelings about that.

Sorry your knees feel bad, Deb! Maybe just doing running for cardio , maybe you need to mix it up after your rest week.

Nice combos there, Nora! Thanks for the support. I know you have teens and probably have been through crap too and understand. It's the hardest thing ever.

Okay... gotta get out by the pool.

Summer has decided to hit and its almost fall 98 degrees today suppose to be 100 by this weekend. We went to the lake yesterday afternoon and was there until 9:30 last night and then we went back today left home at 9:30 am and came home about 4. I don't know if I will work out just wanted a shower and some down time.

Debbie-you suggested to me that I get a new pair of shoes so I am going to return the suggestion.

Chris-luckily I had daughters and not alot of trouble with them, I hope things get better for you.

Today I did the upper body premix of STS Total Body. Had an ok workout. This is my last workout until Sept. 9th. I really need a break.

I changed some of the exercises around with this one. Like for the 1st Triset it has you doing Dips. I hate Dips so I did Standing Overhead Extensions. 2nd Triset has you doing Barbell Rows. I did Barbell Standing Curls instead because I don't think there is enough bicep work in this workout. Plus I didn't want to do rows.

Triset #1
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 40#/16 reps
Chest Flyes - 12's/16 reps
Tricep Overhead Extensions - 12's/16 reps
REPEAT triset with 12 reps

Bonus Burn - Tricep Pushups - 10 reps

Triset #2
Barbell Curls - 20#/16 reps
One Arm Row - 15#/16 reps
Standing Dumbbell Curl - 12's/16 reps
REPEAT triset with 12 reps

Nora - Thanks girl! They feel ok today. I will still get me a pair of Saucony's while I'm taking my rest week. I'm still praying for you and hope all turns out ok.

Chris - I was jumping for joy when my kids when back to school. LOL!!! And about the cardio, there really isn't anything else I can do. Step bothers my knees (always has) and kickboxing (which I love) hurts my upper body/shoulder/neck. I'm telling you, I can't win!!! :(

Roxie - Did buying new shoes help your problem? I hope so! I will do the same! :)
 
Good Morning,

I got caught up from yesterday and did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster and for today I did Turbo Jam Totally Tubular Turbo and my body screamed for a stretch so I did Total Body Stretching. I ordered some new workout toys Firewalker Bands, a new Stability Ball, and wtd gloves mine are getting worn out.

Debbie-DH and I tried on new Asics but for some reason we didn't buy them, I didn't think my shoes were wore out until I tried on new ones and I could really tell a difference in the arch.

I did Turbo Jam Cardio Party 2, Ab Jam Standing Abs, and 30 mins on the TM. Today is the last day of TJ Monday I will start XTrain. My wtd gloves showed up just in time the zipper broke on my old ones this morning, the only thing I am waiting on to show up is the ball. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I just finished the last of this weeks workouts. I know I need to do everything I can to help boost my body's immune system to clear this HPV virus. This means I need to get more rest, eat well, and exercise. In my case I think I will need to switch to 5 days a week to workout and to work on lowering the time and try not to feel too fatigued. It will be hard for me to do this but I must to help my body heal and get well. I have the added issue with MS which makes it all that much harder. I realize I have to wait until February to get re-tested and that seems a ways off but I do appreciate the prayers and healing wishes, so thank you in advance and please keep praying for me, Thank you!;):)
