Cathlete
Hi and good morning,

I will do D6 Legs again today. DH is taking me to a spa weekend. I will try to be back later.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

Today was Week 6, Day 3 of C25K. Simple easy workout. Did 60 second jogs with 90 second walks for 20 minutes. Hardly broke a sweat with this one. It was nice to do such an easy workout, next week is three days of 2.5 miles straight.

Didn't wear my HR monitor for such a short time but I did travel 1.5 miles.

I also did the Ab Work from STS Total Body. Ok workout, not my favorite.

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is KCM's KBXing suppose to be KPC but my right knee and lower back are hurting from last nights leg workout and then I want to do tomarrows biceps and triceps workout because I am getting up early to go see my mom and sister so I need my morning workout to be a quick one.

Belinda-enjoy your spa weekend so jealous.

Debbie-good job with your workout and getting your abs done.

Nora-awesome job with your workout last night.

Workout is done!

Debbie - I am logging my eats into myfitnesspal.com. I bought Premier High Protein Chocolate shakes (30 g of Protein a drink). According to MFP I am only allowed to have 50 gr of protein? If I have a drink on my weight lifting days, I only have like 20 gr left? Is that about right, or should I eat the the entire 50 g plus 30 g protein drink? Does this make sense? My cal are low on there, but my protein is high? BTW, nice job on your workout today.

Belinda-its been said on those forums that myfitness pal underestimates your protein grams so alot of people say not to pay attention to it.

Thanks Roxie! I was wondering if that is stopping me from losing weight??? I can't figure it out? My workouts are excellent, I just can't lose those lbs, I am stuck:eek::confused: No matter what I do?

I hear you on that one but I know my eating still needs improvement but I am seeing some really good results with this rotation and its only the first week.

Hi girls!!

I did Peak Fit's Cardio Strength 1 today. It was tough after Pure Strength yesterday, plus, it's just tough! I may be tiring of PF just a little now. I think I may throw in a Turbo Fire for the fun of it tomorrow!

Belinda: Nice job on Legs today! Even nicer about the spa weekend! I'M JEALOUS! :p , I thought I had read somewhere that the recommended amount of protein is your weight in grams? So if you weight 130, then protein is 130 grams? I may be totally off here, so don't quote me! lol!

Roxie: Great workout last night! hope your soreness goes away. Good plan for tonight and tomorrow.

Debbie: Nice you get an "easy" run in the middle, I bet it was enjoyed! I remember not liking STS TB abs too. Was it hard on the hips? or is that High Rep abs?

Nora: Glad you feel a little better yesterday! I think I have that Hip Hop Abs cardio! Haven't done it in a long timE THOUGH.

off to the grind of meal planning/shopping for the weekend... ugh. I'm back to work tomorrow night after 12 nights off. And I'm so bummed about it! Work has been so stressful and difficult with the layoffs and no nurses . :(

Debbie-I would like to let you know that my calves are screaming your name right now and not in a good way. I knew they were going to hurt just didn't expect it this soon.

I kept thinking about that protein! That is so wrong! It's HALF of your body weight for protein requirements!

Hi girls~;)

T.G.I.F.:D

I finished today's workout. I think I really am enjoying the Cardio Strength 1 from PeakFit Challenge. I did have to use much lighter weights much like for any muscle endurance type workout I used #5's and#10's due to the movements being a bit fast and I don't feel its good for me to use heavier for that style of workout. It was fun though,.

Here's today's workout:

PeakFit Challenge- Cardio Strength 1= 60 Min
Met Value= 8.0
Calories burned= 655

GS- Back, Shoulders & Biceps Timesaver= 36 Min
Met Value= 6.0.
Calories burned= 295
I did the same number of reps as cathe and crew. I did use the same weights as well with one exception of bicep bb curls I used #30 BB and she used #35's. Cathe delivers a great workout as always with the GS workouts. She's da bomb!

Total calories burned= 950:eek::cool:

Ok that's it for me just now. I'm having trouble with my right hand being numb so typing is sort of iffy. I still have pain in my right glute & hamstring. I wonder if its a result of the muscle weakness on the right side due to initial MS nerve damage from the first attack like 5 or 6 years ago. Its strange because its moving around that makes it feel better its getting up from a sitting position or sitting again that hurts like heck, and trying to move and walk intially. I know that if there is a nerve or disc issue usually moving around does nothing to alleviate the pain or discomfort. So, its sort of some weird thing I have going on there, so that's why I think it could be MS related. MS is all about weird sensations that can effect your movement and sensation, and weirdness in general. Oh well, I did what I could in today's workout and modified where it was needed to avoid pain or injury because of my issues right now.

Hugs to everyone and happy Friday!;)
