Good morning,

Glad you girls had a nice Labor Day weekend!

I had the MRI yesterday, wasn't to bad! Just a little loud Now I have to wait until Friday to get the final results I hate waiting! Took a walk after my MIR with DH, I will take a walk today again.

Debbie, I been eating a lot of junk too, I am so stressed out! Glad you had fun with SZ yesterday.

Rockie, nice going with your workouts yesterday.

Heather, nice mix of cardio yesterday plus weight workout.

Nora, I love PS legs and abs, wtg!

Today will be cardio for me. Not sure what I'm going to do just yet. Don't really feel like going to the gym to run and the temps are back up in the 90's with high dew points and humidity levels. May do the hi/low premix from Hardcore Challenge. Wish I'd have had it in me to get up early and get it out of the way for the day. Just not feeling it this morning though - it was all I could do to get myself to work! LOL.

Hi Girls!

Yesterday I had a hard time deciding what to do for workouts. like i said, I'm starting STS next week, so this week is kind of a "wing it" week (which drives me crazy sometimes, I'd rather have a workout scheduled, and "just do it"). I am really hoping to get my Physique57 in this week (it was shipped 1 and 1/2 weeks ago!) so I did an ALL upper body on Monday. I wanted cardio too, so I chose 4DS: LIS Circuit. The weight work was VERY light, (not much of it) . But I think I may have a tiny bit of DOMS from it, so I guess it did something!

I have a hair appt this morning, and then I'll come back and head to the park for a run. It IS a gorgeous day here, and I want to take advantage before it rains later this week ...

Belinda: Good for you for getting out and walking! How is your back FEELING?

Heather: You sound indecisive, like me! What to do you do for work? what time do you get out?. I'm not an early morning exerciser, EVER. I'm tired, uncooridanted and get breathless easier.

Chris - my job title is Web Content Specialist for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield. I basically help manage the content that goes on our web sites (internal and external). My BA & MA are both in Professional and Technical Writing. I did work for 8.5 years as a tech writer for an IT company. I get here early (7am) so I can leave at 4.

I would LOVE to be one of those people who could workout early. I can manage cardio sometimes. Weights...no way. Just don't feel awake and strong enough. Running in the morning isn't so bad b/c you don't have to concentrate too hard (like with step). If I would come in a little later, then I could probably get up and run with DH in the mornings around 6:30 (it's dark here now until at least that time). In the afternoon, I just feel so much more awake and able to exercise, but right now it's a little warm to run (for me 'cause I'm a wimp about such things).

I am done with my walk, which felt much better today. My back is feeling a little better today. I am also planning on doing TBS, I will go easy! I am getting so stiff. I miss my workouts the weather is gorgeous here too , perfect for a nice run

Heather, have fun with whatever you decide. You have an interesting job! You are not a wimp;)

Chris, I can’t sit on my butt 24 H a day, there is no way. My legs are still working, lol! I think the meds are finally working; my back still hurts but not like it has been. That’s a good sign. You got some really good workouts lately, nice going. Yeah, on starting STS again. Are you gonna do the 3 or 6 month rotation?

Good Afternoon,

Checking in late today overslept this morning I have to be to work at 9 and I got up at 7:45. Working on some billing at work so just haven't had the time. Tonite is 4ds Back and Bi's and some kind of core work since DH is gone I might try and so some kind of cardio to. The weather here is cool and rainy.
 
Heather: Your job sounds interesting! You really need to be creative to do that kind of stuff!... I do have to say, when I on that rare occasion DO do the early AM workout, I'm always happy that it's out of the way and it seems like I have more time during the day. But the motivation is SO not there!

Belinda: I know , I could never just sit /rest all day either! I'd go batty!!! Glad you're feeling better, that is a good sign!...I'm definitely doing the 3 month STS. I just don't think I could stay "into it" for 6, know what I mean?

Roxie: Good plans for tonight! 4DS weight work is great, isn't it?

I'm on days off!!!! YAY!! And I have several in a ROW!
For today's workout I did GS BSB. I warmed up on the TM and in between each body part I did 3 min of TM including a sprint. It took me just under 70 minutes. I had to skip abs, but I'm hoping to do a section from AbCircuits tonight.
Belinda, you take care and of course let us know the results of your MRI.

I hope everyone is having a great day today. Today, my first born starts high school as a freshmen. He's 13, wow where did the time go.:eek:

Here's today's workout for me. You might remember that I'm doing Cathe's September '09 rotation.

Cardio Coach Volume 1 Revised=35 Min.
Distance= 2.65 Miles
Calories burned= 425
BPM's=117,137,139,144,140,142,147,146,120,151,155,144,161,139.
Warmup was lowest BPM. The 137 range bpm's were at 75%of max HR.
The 144 up to 151 BPm's were at 85% range of my MHR. The 85% up to 90%of my MHR was anything from 155 to 161.

Pure Strength: Chest, Shoulders, & Tri's=40 Min.
Calories burned= 382

That's for me today. Great workouts today ladies, keep up the great job!!:)

Wendy - I decided on the hi/low premix from hardcore challenge. I like that one b/c it combines workouts. It can be easy to get bored with the same thing over and over so I enjoy some of the workouts where she blends together other DVDs - like Cardio Fusion.

Nora - awesome job with your workout!

Heather - Do you take the time to switch the risers on that premix? Or just leave them the same for both Imax3 and LowMax? Am I even thinking of the correct premix?!?!
