Yesterday we picked DD up from Munich. Glad she is here!

Not sure if I will do cardio or do a FB workout today?

Good Morning,

Well after the flu Saturday and migraine yesterday I am down 3lbs. Shaky and still have a slight headache today but I am sure I am slightly dehydrated will spend today trying to get my electrolytes leveled out and then decide what I want to do for a workout tonite.

This morning I did MIC and took the dogs for a walk. DD wants to do some yoga later and another dog walk. LOL!

Well, I'm not exactly sure what I want to do today - either legs or cardio. May do SB and abs and do legs tomorrow.

Roxie - maybe you should take it easy today. Hope you feel better!

Hey Guys!

I had last night off from work because we did the Juvenile Diabetes Walk yesterday at Six Flags New England... in the 30 degree , pouring rain. I wore layers and did ok, except our sneakers and feet were SOAKING wet, and cold. 3000 people showed up! Made me happy and I was very glad we did it (my 14 yr old , who has JD, and my 10 yr old walked with me, because they really WANTED to. Love them!)

Today I start Week #4 of STS MESO 1. Chest, Shoulders and Biceps! I will add in a nice stretch too. Feels good to be doing this workout on a good night's sleep!

Belinda: Enjoy the time with your daughter!!! (what is a FB workout?)

Roxie: Sounds like you should rest a few more days. The Flu doesn't last one day, it's usually a 5-7 day thing. Take care of yourself there!!!

Heather: Hope you enjoy whatever you choose !!!! How was your neice's Bday party? Did she love her gifts?

Wendy: Yes, that is the Mindy workout I have, the "nipples" one! LOL! Take a look at the Hi/Lo stuff!. YAY for Disc 4!!! I'll be doing the same body parts, but on Disc 10, I do believe. Be careful with all those DOMS. I swear, I thought I had them, but then found out they were body aches from the Flu! Crazy!

Nora: good ab work yesterday! Is the Oct Rotation the Undulating STS one? That totally scared me! LOL! Goodluck!
 
Chris - good job with the walk yesterday. That takes some dedication to get out there in weather like that. My niece's party was really good. It looks like the My Little Pony and TinkerBell sections of the toy stores exploded in my sister's house now! LOL.

Today was Meso 3, Week 1, Disc 26, Plyo Legs. Had a pretty darn good workout and this went fast which made it all the better. I was wiped by the end. This was intervals of a weight exercise, 30 seconds rest and a ply movement for 30 seconds. Then you rest again for 30 seconds and do another weight exercise, etc.. It was pretty fun.

Squats (barbell) - 85#/12 reps
Down- Up Jumps
Front Lunge Same Leg - 30's/12 reps each leg
Forward & Backard Jumps
Side Lunge - 20#/12 reps each leg
Lateral Skates
Leg Press - 15's/12 reps - 4 risers
Split Jumps
Back Lunge - 15's/12 reps each leg
Lateral Jumps
45 Degree Lunge - 15's/12 reps each leg
Slow Plie Jumps
Deadlifts Wide Stance - 20's/12 reps
Squat Jumps
Static Lunge - 15's/12 reps each leg
Half Turn Jumps Right Side - 8#/15 turns
One Leg Sit N Slide with Paper Plate - 15#/12 reps each leg
Plyo Jacks
Plie Squats Alternating Hand - 30#/12 reps
Tuck Jumps
One Leg Elevated Lunges - 12's/12 reps 3 risers
Half Turn Jumps Left Side - 8#/15 turns
Sit N Stands - 10#/12 reps

As you can see, my weights got really light towards the end. I was wiped out. But my endurance is really good. I didn't need any longer breaks then what Cathe did.
 
Well, I have about 30 mins left to decide what I'm going to do today. Really not feeling it at all today. Kind of down. It's sunny out at least. Maybe once I get going I'll have more energy.

Debbie - I can't believe you're already on Meso 3! Time flies doesn't it?!

Wow! Great workouts today and on a Monday no less, now that's impressive.:eek::D

Kim Spreen-Cardio Combat Surge-Bar Strike Mix Only= 32 Min (Used #8bar)
Calories burned= 284

STS Meso 2, Disc#15 Back & Biceps=58 Min
Calories burned= 419

I had a great workout today, The cardio wasn't too intense or challenging but it did make me sweat and warmed up my muscles for weights that followed.

Well I ended up doing SB and SJP abs. Once I got going, I did feel better. I think I'll shoot for legs tomorrow and maybe rest on Wed this week.
