Heather - that's awful. I hope the bank takes care of everything for you. I also think it's totally cool that you ran in the rain this morning!!

Chris - it was my regular pm workout time, so I think it was just the workout itself kicking my arse. I felt really good during, but I was pretty lethargic for the rest of the night. And for the record, I don't think I'll ever "rock a bikini" either...;)
 
Thanks girl - they said they will. We just had to submit a letter with police report. It'll take 10 business days though. Sigh....

I am with you and sooo want to try Turbo Fire.

I am really interested even though HiiT 30/30 takes everything I have. Even the thought of HiiT 40/20 scares me a little and this looks like a whole new level of crazy...:eek:

Chris - does Turbo Fire even compare to Cathe's HiiT workouts? Assuming you have them, of course...
 
Ahhh all this new workout talk and I'm dying to try Insanity and maybe Turbor Fire too. Ohhhh the temptation!!

And PS. Agree with ya'll, ROXIE - throw out that scale asap!! I hate the damn thing personally. Rock out that bikini, you've worked so hard!! :eek:
 
So far, I've done the 30 minute and 55 minute cardios from Turbo Fire. They're not HiiT, but they are AMPED up! :eek:

The one HiiT I've done is only the 15 minute one. So , yes, it's not as LONG as Cathe's HiiT's, but you push yourself just as hard during the intervals. there are other HiiTs, longer ones, I haven't done yet.

Not to be the enabler here, BUT... I've been struggling with losing 10 lbs for the last, say 3 years!?!?! :eek: No exaggeration!!! I just lose and gain over and over again, the same 5 lbs. Since I started Turbo Fire last week, I've LOST 2 or 3 lbs. Just sayin'!

It's pushing me in a different way , perhaps?

And I can't even tell you how much fun the music is. Music is like the #1 pusher for me. If there's good music, I can push myself harder!. BUT, I do know there are people that don't "like" Chalene. So make sure you watch a workout or 2 to see if she's your style. I love her! She's very different than Cathe. But pushes me as much as Cathe does,too.

Turbo Fire- Stretch 10= 13 Min
Calories burned= 35

4DS Cardio + Weights: Kickbox- Lower body weights premix= 31 min
Calories burned= 254

Tracy Effinger's Squeeze Stronger- Upperbody & Waist Premix= 39 Min
Calories burned= 213

Total calories burned= 734

Tomorrow is supposed to be a rest day according to my Turbo Fire Class Schedule, so not sure if I'll try a short run with CC or not, we'll see. I have to go to my Neurologist tomorrow to go over my most recent MRI and what that might mean for me and how I'm doing with my MS, ugh!

Chris - congrats on the 2-3 lb loss, that's AWESOME!! And I know you are not trying to be an enaber, but if I'm picking up what you're throwing down, I should definetly order Turbo Fire if I'm looking to lose a few lbs, which I am. AM I RIGHT?!?!?! Just say "yes, Melissa"...;)

Nora - good luck at your doctor's appt tomorrow. Any enabling words you can throw my way in regards to Turbo Fire are welcome...:) I'm right on the edge of the fence...

Jessica - I forgot about Insanity. Now I'm going to have to look into that one...thanks!!!

Okay, I'm off to get Meaner Legs & CTX back done. I'm going to make a new rotation using 4DS which will start tomorrow. I loved CTX. I was really able to focus on each body part and not overthink anything too much, but it's time to kick it up a notch. I never really gave 4DS a chance so it's time.

And to convince you further, the same thing happened to another friend of mine! Both of us have not really changed our eating habits (which I can't brag about on weekends at work. Stress/little sleep = eat crap food).

Belinda- ^^^5's on your 4.5 mile run and in hot weather no less, you rocked your workout today! F.Y.I. On Amy Bento's dvds on sale where you mentioned great sales, but I'd view the long clips of them first at amy's site www.nrgfitness.net first. I say that just so you can get a better idea and see them first and then decide.

Melissa- Hi! Yes, I really am enjoying Michael Olajide jr.'s workouts. He doesn't do kickboxing at all just the boxing and jump rope stuff. See for yourself at his web site. http://aerospacenyc.com/shop.html I got mine from totalfitnessdvds.com. Michael Olajide workouts are so awesome you get to train like a boxer so you learn punches the correct form and about jump rope which is a great way to workout without a bunch of equipment and would be a killer workout to use as a travel workout as well. Michael Olajide is workouts are all based on a boxer's training.

BTW, Nice run even in stormy weather your determination to get that run in is more than commendable, and you finished it off with a little of KPC. I applaud you!!! Hugs!

Chris- Today was TF HiiT 15 OMG! That was definitely fun and a HiiT workout. I felt so energized after that workout so amazing. I do love Chalene's positive flow of fun energy she seems to evoke. She can push me even when I don't want to do any more. I guess that's why I love tough instructors like Cathe, Shaun T, and Chalene, and more but just naming a few.
I'm sure at some point TF might be offered on amazon. I got mine from totalfitnessdvds.net they are a beachbody coach and you can save some on the shipping costs that way. ;)

Oh and Melissa, I'm saying if you were on the fence with TF, don't be just get it, its so much fun its almost not a workout. You definitely get the hard calorie burn, fat burn, sweat buckets, but the music is pumpin' it feels like your with a bunch of fellow fitness friends working out and having a blast. Its great fun, so as one enabler to another go buy it!!! I'd suggest from totalfitness.net and you'll save on shipping since they are a beachbody coach and the shipping is cheaper through them vs. beachbody direct. They do have the same beachbody products offered there TF, Insanity etc...

Nora – thanks for the website! I found Amy’s DVD’s on sale at www. advancedworkouts.com . My DD just ordered the Bob Harper DVD’s. My DH will be in DC next week, so I will get them soon. I had so much trouble getting those DVD’s. They better be worth it, lol! As always, nice job with TF and 4DS today. Glad you enjoy those workouts. Good luck at your doctor's appt tomorrow.

Melissa – nice job, on 30/30 today. that’s high on the HR! My stupid HR monitor said while I was running it was 230? I felt fine, it scared me a little. But DH said, my heart would have exploded if it would be that high, lol! I wasn’t dizzy or light headed. Felt great! I think I need to change my battery, lol! Usually I don’t let my HR go to high.


Roxie – yeah, on the close! That’s fantastic! Nice job, with 2 mile walk today. Did you get your abs in?


Jessica – glad you got some sleep today. How did your weight workout go?

Chris – I wrote on your wall on FB today. right away I got an email from a lady (have no idea who she is) trying to sell me those workouts. First off, I don’t just hand over my credit card number either so someone I don’t even know! LOL! I believe if I wanted those DVD’s I can find them anywhere, right? Glad you enjoy them so much! I will finish my STS rotation first, then I will look into this DVD’s! WTG, on the weight loss!


Debbie - it get really humid in Germany too! I am excited that DS will be here for 8 weeks. Glad you enjoy your rest week. Oh no, on crinked neck. You poor thing! Take care!
