Good morning,

DH and I came home late last night, we did had a lot of fun at the x-mas party;) Today we will go to the gym.


I will be back to report my workout and catch up on personals. I am staying home today:p

Still no workout to report. I am taking a break from cleaning;)

Debbie, nice job yesterday with your leg and back workout. WTG, on using all 3 bands at once, I still have a hard time with Cathe’s green band. That sucker, will not give! I can see very nice muscle in my biceps/shoulders/chest/ back and LB. No matter how hard I train my triceps, they will not show. What are the best exercises to train triceps? How often can I train them? Should I lift light weights or heavy weights? Everything is nicely shaped, except my triceps! I don’t get it?

Sounds like a LOT of people are getting a LOT of snow today! They predict we might avoid the brunt of it and get only 2-5 inches. I hope so! I have to drive to and from work tonight and in the morning!


I'm about to head downstairs and do a longer cardio. I NEED to move the Lindt Chocolate Balls i bought for the teachers, because yesterday I got into them more than once! I can't trust myself, I swear! I think I may do one of the Cathe's older step workouts, we'll see when I get there!

Oh, and I woke up with MAJOR DOMS in my triceps! Can't remember getting them as bad there before!!!! Oh, and those traditional crunches from MIS the other day also gave me some good DOMS in my abs! I can't remember having DOMS there for the LONGEST time. How are your abs feeling, Roxie?

I'm also VERY excited to have gotten my Shock Cardio shipping notice yesterday!.. Supposed to arrive on 12/22!!!!

Hi ladies. Yesterday DH and I did indeed go to spin after work. Before class I did some abs and a few of the assisted pullups that I'm working. My legs were so freaking fried from Thursday so I was moving VERY slowly at spin. ouch is how I feel today. We had that party last night and I was just worn out and a party pooper.

Today is my first Sat rest day in more years than I can count. it's really going to be a mental challenge to not workout on a day off. My legs can't handle anything though and I have a very full day. Going to Hot Springs to bake cookies with my sister then to a friends' house to meet up with some old friends for dinner. I need to stop procrastinating and get going.

I managed to do 150 crunches total yesterday the baby went to sleep at 8 I went to there house to watch him I didn't get home until 11:30 and then it was midnight before I made it to bed so I am not moving very fast today. DH will be home this afternoon and I need to do some last minute christmas shopping and youngest DDs b-day is Wed. so I need to get her b-day present. Today is suppose to be SJ&P Step and HI/LO but I am just going to do the Step and then do MM upper body premix that I didn't do the other day.

Chris-abs feel fine its the lower back that hurts. No snow here just cloudy and cold.

Belinda-enjoy your time at the gym with DH.

Just finished SJP step only and MM upper body and I can hardly type and I feel liking puking.

SJP Stats:

MM Stats:

I ended up doing Rhythmic Step! I must have not done this one in a LONG time, because it took me awhile to get some of those moves and I had gotten them down pat before! (most notably the 3 knee/kick/back foot , straddle, over the step, foot touch, into the tick tock, cha cha over the step move!!!). But I got in a good hearty sweat for 60 minutes! YAY!

Heather: OMG, you look GORGEOUS! Look at that dress!! You and your hubby make a very nice couple. I know that tired feeling after working out (too) hard , and just wanting to crash. But you pull it off pretty good!... You should do a nice stretch and take a nice bubble bath today, NO WORKING OUT!!!!

Roxie: Nice workout today. You kicked it!..Oh! Your back shouldn't be hurting from crunches? I don't think, anyways. Doesn't sound right. Be careful!

I think I may go bake some cookies before I take my "before work" nap....

Well, I did my workout today and I loved every minute of them.

Here's today's workout:


P90X KenpoX= 56 Min
Calories burned= 535
I wore llb. weighted gloves when doing this one. I love this workout its so much fun and I always feel energized afterwards. Its not the hardest Kickbox workout but its fun and a keeper.

GS Back, Shoulders, and Bi's= Back Only= 19 Minutes
Calories burned= 156

Reverse grip dumbell rows= 20#'s, not sure how many reps because I didn't count but did all the reps cathe did maybe 12 to 15 per set total of 3 sets. One arm row dumbell #25's approx. reps 12 to 15 per set for three sets on each side. Barbell Pullovers #25 3 sets 12 reps. T-band burners, oh yeah didn't count reps just kept up with Cathe. This was a short back workout but man did it feel great!

Total calories burned from today's workout= 691

Chris- I know what ya mean about Lindt chocolate balls, aren't just evil! Chocolate I swear its my weakness, but oh man do I love it. I try to not indulge but there are times its essential to my sanity.;) Wow, I hope that you get to enjoy a little snow but nothing to cause major driving safety issues. I'm sure your kids would love to have fun in the snow. I hope you have an awesome step workout of your choosing. Cathe's old ones are just as effective as ever and will kick your butt I know they sure kick mine.;) Thanks for your kind compliments, I always try to give it my all. Now of course my all can vary from day to day, but hey I think we're all in that boat to some degree.

Heather- Nice picture! Love the dress, and the biceps flex. That's right girl, you be proud of those muscles you worked hard for them and you look great! Its a good idea to take today off if your legs are super sore. Maybe a nice warm bath and a couple of advil and glass of wine might help. I hope your legs recover and are back to workout ready order shortly. Great job on your workout and spin class work, its so great that you've discovered spin class. Its always fun to try out a new workout. Take care!;)

Roxie- Great job on tweaking your workout so you still get it in there but made it fit your time constraints. Bravo on doing SJP step only and MM upper body only. Those are both excellent choices and great workouts. Your doing so great, keep up the great job. You Rock!!:)

Ok girls, that's it for me today. I'll be checking in tomorrow because I added Legs & Glutes to do it then. I didn't feel I got enough leg workout in with P90X so I'm compensating for it. Not sure if I'll do the whole Legs and Glutes= 51Minutes worth or just do a premix- Legs & Glutes Standing only= 39 min. I'll see how I feel tomorrow how much I want to do. Well, I'm off to shower so have a great evening girls!;):)
