Cathlete
Hi and good morning.

I wil do cardio today! My legs a super sore today:rolleyes:

Have a great Saturday and workout, everyone!

Morning girls,

I ended up running outside:cool: I did CCV6, left out all the spints and hills:p:p In other words, I did a nice easy long run:eek: CCV6 got me going. I burned 560 cal. It is so hot outside, not sure how I made it?

Off to enjoy the day and weekend!

My best to all. BBL!

We have a busy day ahaid. Need to drive to Regensburg visting a friend. I think DH wants to go to a cookout today:eek:
I am so glad tomorrow is a rest day. I wil be back later!

Good Morning,

Can't decide between a star trainer workout or Start it Up again. I am on call all weekend for our oxygen pts. so won't be doing much. Took measurements today the scale says I am down 2lbs but all the measurements are the same as they were when we started logging that stuff in workout manager I just don't understand I can see and feel the difference and my pants fit different.

Belinda-enjoy your day and the cookout.

Hey Everyone !!!

I'm in SUCH a good mood for a Saturday! I don't have to go to work, it is sunshiny out, ... I'm happy!

My plan is to start ME after I get done here. And then after lunch, we're all going to load up the Durango and head to a bike trail , which I read about, but we've never been to. It's going to be fun (I hope!). This kind of takes care of my "biking" workout for tomorrow. BUT, I'm thinking I might do a run tomorrow morning.. because I CAN!

I'm really looking forward to starting GS next week. It's been about 2 months doing endurance/full body weigth work and I'm kind of sick of it...

Belinda: Cool on the run today! If you're listening to the right stuff, it doesn't matter what the weather is, I swear. Hope you enjoy your day away today.

Roxie: Have a good workout, let us know how you do! Congrats on the 2 lbs gone!!

BBL!

Hi girls -

Well, I ended up going out of town anyway, dagnabbit! However, I was able to get in some great workouts! I changed up the order of Cathe's rotation a bit. The hotel had bicycles, so I went for a 70 minute bike ride on Thursday. And their gym (I already knew) is great, so I took along my worksheet for ME and did that yesterday. So today I'm going to need to do IMAX2 - or should I say I GET to do it!!! I may just do the blasts...
How excellent that you are enjoying your morning, Chris! Have a great weekend!
Belinda, nice job on the run. Have a great time with your DH.
Way to go Roxie! Down 2 pounds - nice. It's a process, remember, slow and steady.
Hello to all...I'll check back later!

Hi ladies. DH and I are going to try to go for a walk around a base trail. Not sure how long I'll be able to go, but I just can't sit here not doing anything. It's driving me nuts. I am also going to start the rotation that Patti and I put together. I think Chest is first on the list - trying to get my printer working so I can print out my workout sheets. YEAH!

Belinda - way to go with you workout! We did all hills at the lake last week. Hopefully I can at least walk them tomorrow.

Roxie - Have fun with whatever you do today. How did your pool games go?

Chris - Enjoy your ride today. Glad you're having a super Saturday!

Wendy - Hope you enjoyed your Imax 2 workout!!

I'll post back later,
Heather

Morning! Thanks for the anniversary wishes. :) We went out last night and had a nice dinner- I even behaved myself on the food front. It was nice. I may take today as a rest day- left calf is bothering me a bit and I want to be in good form to start my new rotation tomorrow. I think that Step Sweatfest workout has a move in it that causes me to strain my calf- I like how it took me 5 tries doing that workout to get that figured out.

We'll see- I'm also interested in trying out my new Mindy Mylrea workout at some point.

Heather: I'm excited too! Thanks for e-mailing me the sheets- gotta get those printed today.

Wendy: Hope you enjoyed the trip- sounds like you did and I always love vacations when I get to workout. It makes me happier.

Chris: Sounds like a busy active weekend- good for you.

Belinda: WTG on the run- hopefully the cookout will have some nice healthy food. Or eat before you go! :p

Decided to do Start it Up but I cheated this time and wore my weighted gloves wish I would have done that sooner, and then decided since there is no stretch after these workouts that I would TBS.

Cardio:
20 min
18 in the zone
153 min hr
181 max hr
159 cals burned

TBS
13 min
4 in the zone
111 in hr
147 max hr
57 cals burned.

Playing pool tonite. DH always wins but its ok its something we do together and not in front of the TV.

Today was cardio and I decided to do Amy's "In The Ring". This is the second time doing this workout and I caught on quicker. Still some lower body combo's I can't get but this one is a lot of fun.

She does 4 kickboxing intervals and 4 med ball/cardio intervals. All of them are very fun. I skipped where she put intervals 1 & 2 together and 3 & 4 together. I just didn't feel like working out over an hour today.

HR STATS:
1 hr. 6 minutes total
8 minutes below zone
46 minutes in zone
11 minutes above zone
499 calories burned

I really like Amy. Her workouts aren't too high impact and I like that. I can still get my HR up good with her workouts.

Biceps and forearms are sore from yesterday's workout!

Got done with ME, pretty challenging weight work, esp all those Leg Presses....:eek: One of my legs (my left) just does NOT like those presses. And the Abs was killer too for some reason. Not sure if it's the work or just me!

Okay, I just *HAVE* to share this quickie recipe I just did Post Workout. It was soooooo good and sooooo easy! It's from Hungry Girl. there's 2 versions, I made just the egg beaters/cheese version (I didn't have spinach) and put it on one of those Arnold's Sandwich Thins. Here ya go!:

Hi girls,

DH and I, didn't go to the party. We did go to the hospital. We stayed way to long. LOL! After the hospital we didn't feel like going to the party anymore. We had a nice dinner and having a nice realxing evening.

Rockie, nice job on the 2 pounds, girl! Have fun with your workout, no matter what you decide. Have fun playing pool tonight.

Chris, how was the biking trail? Nice job on ME, I hate leg presses. Cathe puts them in every DVD. I agree, the ab wo is a killer. Thanks for sharing the recipes, looks soooo good. :p

Wendy, fantastic job, staying on track with your workouts.

Heather, lol on going nuts without your workouts! I know what you mean. Enjoy your walk your husband. Still take it easy, ok!

Patti, Happy Anniversary. Sorry about your calf is bothering you. Enjoy your rest day.

Debbie, thanks for the compliment the other day. I am excited to learn a new language. Nice job on your Biceps and forearms DOMS. My hamstrings are so sore from yesterday.

Hi to everyone that follows. I will be back tomorrow!

Take care,

Ok, did the walk, cardio factor of sitting on the couch, but at least it was outside. The humidity was brutal but there was a breeze at least. Ankle held up so I'm feeling really good about that. Tomorrow we'll probably walk at the lake. DH is forcing me into rest and not letting me run (I want to beat him up, but I know he's right darn it).

Ok, did chest and back (S&H) from the new rotation b/c I probably won't be able to do weights tomorrow. I was really pleased at my weights, and feel like I probably could have gone just a hair heavier (using my weighted gloves). Patti, I didn't do the PH add on b/c of time. Let me know how it goes for you if you do.

DB Bench press - 25's for all 3 rounds
Chest flys - 16.5 for all 3 rounds
Incline DB press - 21.5/20/20
Incline flys - 16.5/15/15
Slow pushups on toes
2-arm rows - 20/20/17
Pullovers - 18 all 3 rounds
deadlifts - 25/25/20
supermans
planks (DH tried to talk to me during reverse and almost lost his life LOL).

Chris - thanks for those recipes. I really like the Laughing Cow cheese and like to put it with my egg white omelets. yum.

Roxie - it's always nice to have an activity to do with your DH that does NOT involve tv! I'm super competitive so I actually beat my DH from time to time :D and love every minute of it! Last night we had friends over and played so I never played DH, but did win the games I played!! We might play again tonight as well. Hope you guys have fun!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Heather

Heather: So excited to start tomorrow! I have never done S&H so I will be playing around with weights this week, but that's OK. :) Good for you on the walk.

I also listened to my sore left lower leg (not exactly the calf, more to the inside) and just took a rest day. Took the kids to the park and other activity so was plenty busy and the GWF is listing me at burning over 2500 so still a good day.

See ya all tomorrow!

Checking in late - but better late than never.

I copied Debbie today and did Amy's In the Ring workout. (was supposed to do a LIC cardio only premix but just wasn't feeling like doing step) I have only previewed this one before and today was my first day to actually do it. I thought it was a lot of fun. (even when I had to stop and see what the heck she was "adding on" in some of the combos) I didn't feel like working out that long either today, but the time really flew and I hardly even noticed. Burned 539 calories!

DH and I went out to Madison today and visited with my sister. When we got back we went and played some disc golf. Gosh is it ever hot outside today! Tomorrow is going to be even worse. ugh.

BBT!

Patti - Glad you had a nice anniversary yesterday!

Hi Girls!;)

Well, I felt adventurous today and decided to go for it and test out my knees. I'm so happy I was able to do Cardio Coach today! Granted I may not be able to do it everyday like I wished, but if I can still use it 2X a week without knee pain that's a great thing. I will just do regular step or kickbox inbetween, and weights. So, far that seems to work!

Here's today's work out:

Cardio Coach Volume 4=52 minutes

Calories burned=639

I was in the zone approx. 40 minutes of the 52 minutes, comfortably challenged and stayed in the 148-156 BPM. Which for me is 83-88% of my max heart rate, definitely in the zone, yeah!!! I'm happy about that.

Have a great weekend ladies, I won't be checking in tomorrow since it will be a rest day for me. I'm really working hard on Cathe's August '09 Rotation, its a killer!

Hugs!:)

Nora
