Couch to 5k and Zumba

Is it possible to do both on the same day?

I would like to accomplish the c25k program but only have 2 free days a week to do it. The last time I tried running I don't know if I did too much to soon but my hips ached afterward. The doc said it could be a touch of bursitis. My hips don't ache from other activities only running. And I am a slower runner, kind of waddler, wogger top of gal. The thing is on one of the days I have free to run is also the only day I have to do Zumba which I would like to try also.

I think the hips aching is a shoe problem. Also, if you are turning your feet out instead of running with them in a neutral position that could cause an issue. You can in theory do both on the same day since they are different kinds of activities. I think over time your hips will adapt. I used to get sore there, I wonder if its actually your muscles just adapting? I don't get sore there anymore and I started joggling/wogging about 3 years ago.
