Corian Counters

Help - I have Corian COuntertops (3 yrs. old - very expensive!. They have kind of a matte finish except at night when she seem shinier. Anyway, they look really dull and scratched (although I never cut anything on them) during the day.

I've tried buffing with the scotchbrite and cleaning and polishing with the special corian cleaner and it doesn't seem to work. Any tips?

Maybe try car wax? You may not want to put food that you're about to eat directly on the counter after waxing it, but I have used car wax to shine up bathroom tubs and sinks - it helps reduce the appearance of scratches by filling them in.

I LOVE Corian countertops - they are gorgeous. We almost got them in our kitchen when we had our house built, but due to the cost, decided to just get it in the master bathroom. Someday when I'm rich and famous (or just rich), I may redo the kitchen counters in either Corian or a granite-composite. Nice countertops can make a kitchen GLOW!
