Well no w/o for me last night. Worked late so just didn't feel like it:p Ended up spending a considerable time trying to figure out why the DVD player was not connecting to the t.v. properly.:mad: I get sound but no video. DH swears he didn't touch anything. Anyhow still didn't get it to work so will have to take another look at it tonight. Good thing its not the one in my w/o room:D:D

Jeanette / Laurie - my legs were quite sore yesterday and I used that as one of my excuses for not working out:p

I have Bodymax2 on tap tonight. I'll probably skip the beginning cardio and go right to the Power circuit section and finish the DVD from there. That is one long video and I've never attempted to accomplish it in its entirety after the 1st try:D I'm doing the April 08 rotation and don't have Mega Step Blast which was what was on tap yesterday. I think it is OOP now. Fairly sure I'll be taking Friday off as a rest day too! Oh well, giving my body lots of recovery time....

Oh yea, last night we were "Boo'd". Someone left a Halloween Bag of candy at our door and we have no idea who. We live in a small community so probably nothing to worry about as most likely it was just one of the kids on the street thinking this would be fun for DS. DH 1st thought was to throw out the candy as you really don't know who it came from. Decisions, decisions.

Kim - I lkike your idea of one check-in for the week.

Morning ladies,
It was S&H Legs (no calves) for me this morning. Last night was wood stacking. I have my mammogram and bone density test this afternoon at the hospital.

Patricia, so you are off on Friday too? I think Laurie and I are also. I'll probably still work out in the morning though. Hope you get the DVD player figured out. I had to get my oldest DS to hook ours up. I've never done BM2 in full before. I have a hard time doing a 1 hour workout, let alone a 90 minute one. I'd probably throw away the candy too. Of course, if it was stuff like PB Cups or anything with good chocolate, it'd be tough LOL!

Laurie, nice to take a break from working out sometime. The vet appointment is on Thursday. That's the soonest I could get her in.

Kim, I'm thinking a weekly check in would be fine too. How are the temps up your way? We're finally getting a change in the weather this Friday. Sigh.
 
Morning Coolers,

Todys workout was a 5 mile Tempo Run. Still would like to get in P90X Shoulders & Arms halfsies plus some Ab work.

Patricia, I'm joining you on the sore legs, after doing 1:1 plyo legs yesterday it was pretty hard doing that 5 mile run. At least tomorrow is yoga, so will be giving my legs somewhat of a break. Maybe I will need to pick a DVD that is more stretching and less warrior poses! LOL ;) We get Boo'd every year in our sub division. I suppose if you don't know most of your neighbors, then you could be a little carful. Most time we don't get candy when Boo'd, we get dollar store items. :rolleyes:

Jeanette, I need to get Cami in for a shampoo! Maybe she needs to smell like a cookie like she did last year. LOL! :rolleyes: I'm not going to tell you to have fun with the mammo, because I have just been through that and it isn't fun. LOL! At one point the machine didn't automatically go up, and so torture happened until the tech noticed I didn't step back! :rolleyes:

Hello all, I'm around but I'm just dragging this week. I don't know why, I'm sure glad that I'm doing the Body Blast Timesavers this week as I'm barely getting those short workouts completed. Kim

Finished BM2 (From the Power circuits on only to make it 1hr w/o)

Busy day at work, another late night. :mad: Oh well, what can you do. I'm just glad I only live 15 min from work:)

Kim - sorry to hear your feeling so sluggish. May you need to take a week off or just do relaxing type w/os.

Laurie- I think it was Sunday that I pulled out my Karen Voight Vhs tape Pure and Simple Stretch. I always feel so good after that one. She is just so dry sometimes hard to take. I felt my butt when I 1st started my w/o this evening but I guess getting some blood flowing loosened things up:D If my shoulder feels better in a couple weeks I might start up at week 6 of the X and see how it goes. Maybe try the halfsies rotation so as not to aggravate my arm.

Have you Americans ever seen the X sold retail in the the U.S.? It seems to have made its way here into our drugstores this month for $99 on sale from $120. And a fitness store I visited earlier this month had sold some limited quantities too. Just thought you would only be able to buy it e-tail. Another co-worker asked me about it today so I'm going to lend him my set.

Jeanette - nope not off Friday, but DS's daycare lets out at 4pm to give everyone a chance to get home and eat dinner b/4 trick or treating so at least its a "shorter" work day. Hope your tests went as pleasant as they can be considering.
