Just get us started before I head to work.

Jeanette I'm doing the "not workout out so much" rotation :D:D:D LOL This week I decided to do 4DS and possibly one swimming workout. Most of the workouts will be grouped at the end of the week though. I love the sound of those bike rides through the autum colours.

Wendy How are you feeling?? Yeah, I kinda of wonder if ds's asthma is better because he's been a lot less active. No I haven't contacted Tracy about the rotation, I think I'll just go with the shorter/less workouts for decrease stress for now. I'm going to an interesting seminar tonight on "Maintaining Your Brain", about brain fitness/workouts. Enjoy your busy day, hope the dr's goes okay.

Patricia I love IMAX2, my all time favourite Cathe workout, I find the time just flies. I'll join the just winging it STS group!

Well, the poor dog is not doing well (again) well she never is good anymore, it's just that some days are worse than others. She is almost 17. DH and I are really thinking that something should be done this week! One of of us needs to get our courage up to do it. She's been up sick the last 2 nights and hardly has ate in days. She will eat some meat if I hand feed her.

Morning Coolers are this White and Windy Blustery/Snowy Day:mad:

I knew it was coming but still shocked when I opend the garage door this a.m. I don't mind the snow, its the 40km/hr winds:( Even DS wanted to stay in the garage and not come out to get to the car.

Its on DH's to-do list to clean up the garage so I can park but just thought we had a bit more time. Which we proably do as this snow won't last.

I'm trying the April 08 Rotation which is Legs oriented and just subbing in with other w/o's I don't have. So B&G was on tap last night which I don't have so did the leg workout from the Slim Series instead. Tonight is PUB so I think I'll just do the Up pre-mix to take it easy on my arm/shoulder and maybe if time throw in some cardio.

Kim - I almost think doing a 4-day split M-Th is good and then if there is extra time tack on another w/o during the weekend or if you end up missing a workout in the week there is still time in the week to make it up. I reading over on OD that one woman just does about 10min of PH a day then gets her longer workouts in on the weekends and she is easily maintaining. Its really hard to decide when is the righ time to put down an animal. When we put our cat down last fall I was ready I think about 6mo sooner than DH, mainly b/c I was the one doing all the cleanup + it was DH's cat first. We still have another one and now thinking of getting a kitten in the next few weeks, however, we have leather furniture so I'm not sure if I want to go the the kitten phase before they're ready to be declawed.

Jeanette - what is it with the male species that they get their lunch made for them? Growing up my Dad after dinner used to make his lunch and my brothers lunch for school. Never did he think about us girls:mad: Talk about a double standard.

To answer your question Kim I would like to keep this group going but maybe just a quick check-in from me sometimes. I'm loving keeping in touch with everyone but I'm not really the chatty type so sometimes its been a struggle to "keep up".

Good morning,
Today was Imax2 for about 35 minutes (5 or 6 combos?), then did most of the non-stability ball abs from Butts & Guts. Tonite is woodstacking I think, though I'd much rather bike or golf. That's me, a real grasshopper for you. I did not inherit my parents work ethic around the house for sure.

Patricia, oh my, snow!!!! I am not anxious for that to rear it's head around here. My fantasy would be to live somewhere where it doesn't snow at all. That Butts and Guts is a great leg workout DVD, if you ever get a chance to get it. It's probably my favorite because of the variety in it. And believe me, I'm not a leg workout fan. Actually, I don't cook for DH in the evenings very much any more, so guess the least I can do is make his lunch. He's pretty easy to please, obviously. He's the real cook in our family, thank goodness.

Kim, so sorry about your dog. I know how tough it is, I really do. We had to put our cat down earlier this year. She'd gotten so thin and would only eat a little at a time. She was pretty old. 17 is very old for a dog. I really like 4DS, though I don't always use the cardio in it, but I use the principle. I've gotten better results with 4DS than other workouts, though I really wasn't crazy about it when it first came out. I think it comes up on the October Rotation here pretty soon.

Wendy, hope you don't fall asleep during Bible club today. How about during a massage? Does it make you relax or is it a deep tissue type massage?

Must run now,

Evening Coolers

Lets see I did the UP premix of PUB including abs tonight and now just relaxing for the evening. Furnace has been acting up so will need to get someone in to take a look at it. Not exactly the best time for it to go on the frizt with SNOW on the ground:rolleyes:

Jeanette - I thought B&G looked way too hard for me so I never go it. Now that I see the new Meso 1 Legs on Youtube I figure I might as well wait on purchasing any DVD's until after a STS rotation. Hmm, unless I ask for it for Xmas...

Night all

Good evening,
Sat on my butt all day long in training. Soooo boring. It's required that you take this once a year. I had a tough time staying awake for a couple of the classes. After work, went uptown and got a new mirror for my sunglasses (for biking). Also needed some new tubes and a pair of gloves. Didn't do much else except practice some golf in the front yard with my wiffle balls. I'm golfing after work tomorrow night with a couple of our guy friends. DH is going to come bring the beverages and ride along too. Should be lots of fun. I hope I golf okay as I played with this friend last October (year ago) and I was just learning. He's actually the one that got me to try golf. Hope I show some improvement from last year. I just need to be relaxed. Being tense and golfing just doesn't work.

Patricia, hope you can find someone to look at your furnace. Is that snow gone yet? I just checked the weather for tomorrow. Supposed to be 73 F and sunny. Love it. I looked at that Meso 1 Leg workout tonite. It looks more difficult by far than B&G to me. Wow, wonder how much longer before STS is released. I really like that PUB up premix, though I usually have to take a little break with the shoulder front raises. Those are tough for me with an 8#er. And the abs are tough too, especially the pikes on the ball.

Need to get to bed early as I'm going in to work early again.
