~~~~Coolers in September~~~
Laurie, with all your creative workouts, do you think you would use the workout manager???
I got 4DS Kickbox done today. Went by the house after picking up the kids. The shingle are done and it looks like they are starting on the plumbing and heating stuff. Good to see that it's getting done but I'm waiting for the more exciting stuff:D
Hey Coolers
Just finished GS - BSB - it's so nice to not have a cardio factor as that's all I feel like my w/os have consisted of lately:eek::D I'm in a 2-day Supervisor Training Course hosted by my company - so while somewhat "easy" day for me, I know work is piling up on my desk. It's on the same floor as my cubicle so at every break I keep going to my desk to check for urgent messages so I feel kind of rushed.
DS had 1/2 day of SK today and with out even being asked he volunteered he liked it. Friday will be his 1st full day. I'll have start making lunches again:(:) (it's been a nice break for the summer:D)
What's with all the skunk sitings:):D
Kim - the rough in always seems to go slow and yeah, I agree with you - BORING, but oh so important. We really miss our undercounter task lighting and the backsplash is all tiled so even to do it now I think we would have to re-do all the backsplash - a bit of a job:( I hear you on the poor cuing in 4DS but once you get it, it is sooo much fun. Not sure if I could do it that early in the a.m. though:D
Laurie - to do your mish mosh, do you have to keep popping out one dvd and put in the other one? I don't have BM, just BM2. I could never imagine being able to do all of them as is. Really, do people do them all the way through?
Morning Coolers,
Today was again a CTX 10-10-10 with weights, but the weight work was CTX Biceps, Triceps and Abs. Will be happy for my yoga day tomorrow.
Kim, The workout manger would probably be handy for something like this, I'm going to waite until they have that working 100%. It seems like your house should be along faster, because now there is actually a house. Funny how the guts of the house really do take a long time, of course there is sometimes a wait on some contractors too.
Patricia, Don't enjoy when those training courses interfer with our jobs, just makes everything a catch up type situation. My boss just informed me that he would like me to attend a meeting in 1-1/2 hours. REALLY! :rolleyes: He gets annoyed when people schedule meetings when he has something blocked in his calander, but he does the same thing. OK Rant over. :p I have some of these workouts on VHS, so I pop between the DVD and VCR. I also have a portable DVD player that I have been using, so just hit the pause button. My next mish-mosh is Imax 2 with Bootcamp weight work inbetween, that one should be fun. :D
Have a great day!
Nothing exciting to report here. Did 4DS Boot Camp this morning and watched the premiere of Survivor this evening.
Laurie, my coworkers were really annoying me today as well!! I'm really pretty easy going, it's pretty hard to get me upset so it was good I was only working till 3 because I don't think my patience would have lasted till 4 today;)
Patricia, glad that your ds is enjoying Kindgergarten, makes life so much easier when they want to go. Did you find daycare for the other days? Are there many things you want to change on the new house??
Morning Coolers,
Today is my yoga day, so I did PY4H Daily Dose of Bliss.
We received oldest DD's Senior proofs yesterday, and boy it really is going to be hard to pick. :confused:
Kim, My boss gets me annoyed fairly often, I think that he has adult ADD. I would love for him to just sit down and complete one thing at a time, he is not a good multi-tasker. :D
Have a great day!
Did IMAX 2 this morning, still my favourite workout even at 6 am;) This one just always flies by for me.
Leaving very early tomorrow morning on my girls only shopping trip (bus) to Minneapolis won't be home till late Sunday night.
That's great that your dd's pictures turned out so well!
Morning Coolers,
Today I also did Imax 2, and inserted a weight exercise from BC after each cardio blast. Really was a fun way to do Imax2.
Nothing exciting is happening with us this weekend, should get out and do some yard work.
Kim, Have a great time on your girls shopping trip!
Have a wonderful day!
Good Afternoon Friday
I'm in the $$, I'm in the $$:D:D (well, me and the bank!) Our house closed today so finally that is now settled.!
Thurs. I did B&G timesaver w/ abs and this a.m. I did GS - C/T - superset timsaver as we're going to the cottage and I wanted to finish the week off right!
Looking forward to a quiet and relaxing weekend at the cottage. Not too many left now.
Kim - my next door neighbour is looking after DS and it seems to be working out well. Talk about convenient! I watched Survivor too - good thing my co-worker told me it was changed to Wed. nights though:eek: Here is my honey-do list for the house - I really really want the rest of the pictures to get hung up on the wall, I want to repaint all the trim as they're pretty scuffed up, the lighting isn't all that great, so new light fixtures, under-counter task lighting would be fabulous, and of course we have to finish the basement. I need to get down there and find the winter boots - that's not too long around the corner:eek::(:D Have fun shopping - the exchange rate I think is really great right now too!
Laurie - School pics already! Well atleast you have a few good ones to pic thru. Ours aren't until October - sounds late though - I guess DS won't be wearing shorts in them like last year:p Those mish moshes sure are creative. I'm really liking this Dec. rotation I'm on - I did get to avoid all the PUs in C/T today though by doing the timesaver rotation. No way could I attempt PU's at 6:30am - I have a hard enough time at 8pm:p
Sounds like a relaxing but fun weekend for everyone.
Take care,
Morning Coolers
What a great weekend for being at the cottage - sunny and fairly warm. It would have been a great weekend to get out on my kayak but it was a working weekend. Time to finish some projects and start getting ready for closing it for the winter. I was suppose to do DM - scrambled timesaver pre-mix but I subbed in Hiit 30/30 instead last night. Also, 200 crunches, 2 min bike maneuver and 1 min plank. That 2 mins was hard:D
It's my 8th wedding anniversary tomorrow. Haven't even discussed with hubby what to do - it's kind of creeped up on me. Most likely got out for dinner. We're trying to find a good chinese place - so far we're 0-2:confused:
Hope everyone's week is starting off good.
Morning Coolers,
I didn't workout at all this weekend, wasn't feeling 100% yesterday. Saturday I got up really late, and didn't have time. I had to get youngest DD to her dance class, and then as soon as we got home we left for a wedding. So this morning I did PUB and after each body part I inserted 2 min of cardio from Barry's Bootcamp Upper Body. That worked out great, but I had to skip back to do the last exercises again. :D
Debra, Wonderful that the financial part is all finished. Very nice that your DS is right next door. Yep we get the girls pictures right at the beginning of the school year, because they have them taken during registration day.
Have a great day!
Laurie
Just relaxing after my busy weekend. These shopping trips are such a whirlwind. I spent way too much and then had to pay a nice duty fee at the border:eek: But my sister spent even more;) Got some clothes for myself and did lots of Christmas shopping
So no exercise for me, I'll get back on the wagon tomorrow morning. The exciting news is that they put in the windows and doors today!!:D:D They are giving us an estimated date of mid January now:rolleyes:
Laurie Hope you're feeling better today! What kind of dance is your dd doing this year?
Patricia, Glad that the day care situation is working out for you! What a big relief to have the house all dealt with!
Here's a funny tidbit, our bus had 57 women and one brave husband and in total there were 170 pairs of shoes purchased:eek: The bus driver (who does about 7 of these trips a year with different groups of women) said the record was 178 pairs so we didn't break it, LOL.
Morning Coolers,
Feeling way better this morning, must have been something in the air. :D This morning was 10 Min. Solutions Knockout Body with Jessica Smith, and that was a really great option.
Patricia, Sorry for calling you Debra, had someone come into the office by that name so it just got typed by my fingers! :eek:
Kim, LOL on the amount of shoes purchased! To bad you didn't set a record. :D Good to hear on the progress of the house, that is about the same timeframe that we moved into our house. :rolleyes: It wouldn't have been bad, but we had a snowfall the night before the move. :rolleyes:
Have a wonderful day!
Hey Coolers
I'm just one big wet ball right now. I did BM2 - cardio blast - which is all the cardio about 62min. I've never done that one before and just barely finished the last power circuit combo. I then did Abcir - pilates - that was a virgin I think too and not one I will probably repeat:eek:
Went out for Italian dinner tonight.
Kim - LOL about the shoes. How many did you contribute to the count! Maybe mid Jan. isn't such a bad time. Gets you through Xmas plus you're showing your house in the winter - for us that was going to be better as our lawn wasn't the greatest!:p Good to hear it becoming water tight, just intime for the fall though.
Laurie - that's okay Laurie - I hear you - if you called me Nancy though, then I would have been upset - can stand that name:p
Off to read and sleep.
My shoe count was 3:p
Did Pure Strength Legs and Abs after work and then watched the TBL. Sure looking forward to a weekend at home, I'm just tired.
DH talked to the real estate agent today and she is suggesting that we list in October:confused:
The idea of moving after a snowstorm, doesn't sound like fun Laurie!
Congrats on your anniversary Patricia! Sounds like you burned off all the calories from your dinner out.
Morning Coolers,
Today was Cardio & Weights, have not done that one in a while so it was fun. :D
Patricia, WTG on the workouts, and then out for a great meal. I would say you burned a ton of calories to eat Italian. Got to love pasta! :D We do have a Nancy working here, so hopefully she will not walk into the office. :eek:
Kim, Only 3! :eek: Bet they where cute though, I love shoes! :eek: Next weekend will be a quiet one for me, DH and youngest will be out of town. Oldest will probably be off somewhere for homecoming activities! I'm looking forward to being by myself.
Have a great day!
Only home for a hour between work and "Meet the Teacher night". Kind of a nuisance since we presently live 1/2 hr from the school.
Did 4DS LIS this morning. Half done the Sept rotation and enjoying it.
I posted some new house pics in my profile.
The house is really coming along - lots of windows so lots of light. Is that a raised basement Kim?
Laurie - Since its just me and DS this weekend I'm trying to arrange a playmate to sleep over for DS. This way I might get some work done here if he has a playmate:cool: It's my DF's 80th on Sun. so will drive up north for lunch.
I do need new shoes. I only have open toed shoes to wear with dresses/skirts and need some closed toed ones. I have not worn a skirt in the fall/winter in several years - they just don't go all that well on a job site:D:D
Completed GS - BSB tonight.
Off to catch up on Survivor.
Morning Coolers,
Today was yoga day so my choice was Yoga Zone Flexibility and Stress Relief.
Kim, The pictures look great. ;) Only a few more months of having to drive so far to the school. :) How did the evening go? Where the teachers nice?
Patricia, Good idea on getting that sleepover organized, your ds would probably have a great time having a friend over. Happy Birthday to your DF! My grandmother just celebrated her 90th on Labor Day weekend. I think she is going to live to be 100! LOL :) Have fun shoe shopping, maybe you should have gone with Kim to get that shoe count up. :eek:
Have a wonderful day!
Got MMA Fusion done this morning and then went to watch ds at his crosscountry meet after work.
Patricia, it is a raised basement so nice and light down there. I really loved the design because of all the windows. Went by today and the electricians were there and yesterday it was the plumbers and cable guys so things are really moving along this week. Where is your DH this weekend?
Laurie, the teachers at the new school all seem really nice. The kids have no complaints. They both have male teachers and both are older guys. DH's grandmother is turning 95 in January. He has really long lasting genes on both sides of his family.
Morning Coolers,
Today was No More Trouble Zones with Jillian, and my shoulders and abs are fried right now. She really does know how to work those areas. :D
Kim, How was the cc meet? I have the long lasting genes in my family, DH is kind of a mystery because he was adopted. ;) Are you having a quiet weekend?
Nothing exciting going on with us, youngest dd has a church retreat tonight and will be back Sat. afternoon. Oldest dd will be home with us tonight, and then tomorrow will have a cross country meet. I promised them that I would take them bra shopping on Sunday. Oldest needs one for her dress that she bought for Homecoming, and youngest is outgrowing her current size. :rolleyes: Guess I should probably buy myself some new ones too.
Have a wonderful day!
