Hey, I finally figured out where the ~~~ are:)

Back to work today and what a busy day. Completed Dsic 30 - S/B/T so week 2 compled now of M3. Just 4 more weeks to go Yeah:):) Looking forward to something else. I jumped on the bandwagon over at VF and ordered Valerie Waters Action Hero Babe System. Nothing I'm doing is getting these 10lbs off:mad:

Kim - what an awful day for you. Hope all is better for you now. Good luck for DS in getting onto a team.

Laurie - I got the comforter out last week too!:D

I'm curious of the Valerie Waters Action Hero system:confused::confused: I've never heard of it, I'll have to go have a look. I can't believe you're almost done STS that went fast (for me). What do you think of all the down time in Meso 3?? I'll like to do another rotation (just 3 months) with the new cardio once it's out, are you doing it again?

How are you enjoying STS Laurie?? I forget if you're doing the 3 or 6 month rotation?

I am definitely a little sore from CLX all this week! Phase 3 is the hardest phase! My PF is feeling so much better!!

We have tickets tonight for the football and hockey games:D:D Going to give ds's friends the football tickets (as they always lose and it's cold out;)) and go to the hockey game. The hockey tickets are for the season opener and they often give away free food during the opener in the box seats. We have box seats from DH's workplace.

I'm off work today so hope to get some errands done.

Morning Coolers

Kim - there is a HUGE thread over on VF about it. I wasn't going to get it as I have some gliding w/os that I have not even done and wasn't sure I want to commit to another 2 mo rotation and limit what DVDs I can do. I'm going to do another STS rotation also - 3mos only this time once the cardio comes out. But probably not until the New Year. Feb. I have a 2 week vacation in Florida so might wait until after that or start it up Jan and just work around the break. I'm not finding much down time at all in M3. By the time I change weights, and change weights in my gloves I barely have time to stretch. Sounds like you made the right pick to go to hockey. DH won $95 on last nights game opener of Leafs vs Cdns:D

Morning All,

Today was Disc 8, and I will try to get in a run after work. DH is going to be gone all weekend, oldest DD is going to be going to her friends house tonight. I'm going to be home with my youngest. :D

Yesterdays cross country meet was just awful with wind/rain/cold, but oldest DD came in 10th and 2nd for her team. The girls came in 2nd overall as a team.

Patricia, I take it your DS is feeling better? I didn't take a look at that thread at VF, so will check it out. Not sure that it will lure me to order or not. :D The title sure does sound funny though!

Kim, Phase 1 is a lot of fun. :D I'm only one week away from recovery, and this phase went by fast. I'm doing the 3 month rotation, because I felt that I might get bored doing the 6 month. I think it was a good decision. Have fun at the hockey game. Glad that your PF is getting better also.

Have a great day!

Busy weekend with kid stuff (piano, hockey, swimming lessons) but have Sunday afternoon/evening free so nice just relaxing this afternoon. Got some work done in the garden, all the veggies are inside. Keeping up with CLX, 3 weeks left. I'm gong to take the 2 rest days that are in the schedule for the last 3 weeks (I've mostly only been taking 1 till now) as I find phase 3 with the compound moves very tiring!!!

Laurie Did you and dd do anything special with your quiet time together?? Congrats to your oldest dd on her race! My ds has one more race this week and with the weather cooling off, it's not so fun anymore. His races are during school time, they leave one hour early and take a school bus so I never get to see the races.

Patricia I looked at those dvds, it doesn't give many details though. How many dvds, cardio/weights?? One of my coworkers is going to Florida in Feb. as well, I spent a lot of time last week planning things out for her.:p

The whole family went to see the Toy Story double feature yesterday, ds didn't really want to go but he was sure giggling at times. It was fun to go together. Also had to take kids shopping for pants as they wore shorts all September (hottest Sept on record). Then the cold weather hit last week and they were both complaining of having no pants. Ended up buying myself a new winter jacket (bright pink Nike ski jacket) which I really didn't need but was so cute!

Good Sunday Evening All

Just realised I haven't posted since Thurs. Lets see did 4DS - HIS cardio only along with STS med ball abs. Sat. was my rest day. We went suv shopping again. Test drove a Mercedes MLK500 I think but the back seat doesn't take a car seat too well so x-d it off our list. (They're were the same price as a Rav4 or CRX) believe it or not!) Today I did Disc 31A - C/B.

I had the day to myself as DH took DS down to the cottage for the day. I packed up a lot of DS's too small clothes to donate. Now time to get my winter clothes out of storage. We have not seen sun in about 1.5 weeks I think if not longer:(

Kim - I LOL about the pink coat as I have one too (that I bought spur of the moment). I'm lying in bed this a.m. and hear DS getting his shoes and coat on and telling Daddy that he likes Mom's pink coat. (I haven't told DH that he wanted pink snowmobile gloves at the store Sat:D) The AHB systems comes with just 6 DVDs. 3 for the 1st 30days and 3 for the next 30 days. All circuit strength. So I still get to choose my cardio:D I think you do 3 dvd's per week, alternating with cardio. I sent DS with mitts last week:rolleyes:

Laurie - Wow, time just flew by for you. What do you have planned for your recovery week? I agree, 3mo rotation hear on out. That's a great placing for DD, even with that crappy weather that we seem to be sharing.

I'm watching Larry King Live. John Gosselin is on it from Jon & Kate + 8. What a real tragedy that family has become.

See you in the new week.

Morning Ladies,

Disc 10 Chest, Shoulders, Biceps is done, and I must admit it was hard to lift my arms to comb my hair this morning. That 70% really works those arms. And all those dang push-ups! I was fine until the last round of 21's and the staggered(which I really liked). I had to go to the knees on those.

Kim, I actually was by myself on Friday night, because my youngest DD went over to her friends house. I ended up spending most of Saturday by myself also. Both girls where with friends, or getting ready for the football game. Glad to hear that the Toy Story was fun to go see. I just love those movies, and am ready to watch the new one. ;) My youngest has her last race today, and I don't know if I can see her run. They want us to go watch, but I have to work until 4pm, she starts running around that same time.

Patricia, I can't believe that I have recovery next week either, and I plan on getting in stretching, yoga, running and kickboxing. :) Nice to have the house to yourself isn't it. I was busy cooking most of yesterday. :)

Have a great day!

Evening Coolers

Got my w/o in while DS was at skating lessons. I did Disc 32A - plyo. I don't know how that I'm 4" taller than Cathe and I can barely jump up onto the step with the same # of risers as Cathe

I'm suppose to donate blood Wed so accerating thru STS this week. I'm still fighting a cold so have not decided if I will or not.

DH wants to go to the cottage Fri. night so that would mean no w/o until Monday at the earliest. We have the family for Thanksgiving there on Sat. then spend the rest of the w/e closing it. Maybe depending on the weather we come home on Sun rather than the holiday Mon.

Laurie - Congrats on even starting out with "boys" pushups. I'm hoping with the tower that I'll be able to progress to them. Oh, I remember those DOMS. How have the legs been? I remember sitting down and getting up to be the worse!

Waving hi to Kim

Morning Ladies,

This mornings workout was TaeBo Get Ripped #2, and boy are my shoulders talking to me know. That 70% really worked my shoulders, and with all the upper body work that Billy gave me in this workout I can really feel my shoulders right now. :D

Patricia, The holidays always seem to get in the way of exercise. :D My legs are feeling ok right now, but I'm sure that the legs will be feeling it on Fridays workout. I think it is harder when you are tall to do plyo work. I have always wondered why those ladies where faster than me, but then I realized that their legs where mush shorter! Well that is what I'm sticking with anyway.

Have a great day!

Rest day for me! Going to watch TBL and relax. DH and ds are at hockey, after like 15 sessions or something he is still in tryouts. Made the second round of tryouts for the A1 team :rolleyes: This is hard on the nerves for the parents (and the players)
Kids started swimming lessons on Sunday, both seem to enjoy their classes.

Patricia I've been following the Gosselin fiasco, it's almost like watching a train wreck:( DD likes to watch the show but I don't want her to know about the fighting but it seems like some of the girls at school talk about it. We'll be going out to the cottage for Thanksgiving/closing up. We were going to go Sat am but ds has tryouts Saturday evening so will go Sunday morning.

Laurie That STS is getting you, eh! By the end of STS, I could do 30 push ups on my toes:cool: Haven't tried lately.

Kim

Evening Coolers

Just completed 4DS - LIS cardio only along with STS AC - weights only.
Trying to decide if I'll get up at 5am to do disc 33 - B/S/T. Got the weights and step all set-up and calculated what weights to put on the BB as I know I won't be up for any math that early in the a.m.

Kim - DH just came back from a Minor Hocky mtg for DS. His schedule is Wed. 5:05pm and Sat. 7:30am - I guess I get to sleep in Saturdays all by myself :D:D Will DS know if he is on the team after this Sat? You know I can barely do 1 push up!!! I blame a teeny little bit on my shoulder though. (Well that's my excuse and sticking to it - just like Laurie:)

Laurie - I like your excuse and I'll remember that next time:p Don't you just love a little DOMS!

Off to see Shark Tank then hit the sack!

Morning Ladies,

This morning was Disc 11, and another good workout. When I get home I would like to get in a short run.

Kim, I'm just happy to get most of those dang push-ups on my toes. ;) She does so dang many, that when it says we are going to be doing them, I start to mumble. WOW on the amount of time spent on the hockey try-outs, hope you get an answer on his status soon. ;)

Patricia, 7:30am!!!! On a Saturday!!!! Now that sounds like me getting up every weekend to go put on a big dress! I'm sure he will have a great time though, and I bet your DH will enjoy his coffee while he waits. :D I was feeling those DOMS all day yesterday. ;)

Have a great day!

Morning Coolers

Turned off the alarm when it off at 5am and didn't wake up again until 6:30:rolleyes: so no w/o this a.m. I'm not going to donate blood today - just feeling too tired. I feel bad about it but I do feel it takes a lot out of me for several days though.

Laurie - the joke is on DH as he has to be out on the ice with DH :p:p

Evening Coolers

Just completed Disc 33 - S/B/T - boy can you ever tell the difference at 90% with the smaller muscle groups. Great workout and didn't feel rushed changing weights.

Kim - do you think a lot of M3 was filmed all original? I'm trying to figure this out since the reps are declining and they show her finishing at 8, 7 & 6 reps, not panning away and just a voice over. (may any sense?) And today Cathe said more than once about the triceps being 2/3rd of the arm. I don't remember that in the other 2 arm w/os. Anyhow, just a thought that I'm pondering.

Off to get a bowl of fruit and bed and a good book.

Just finished CLX for today (only 13 workouts left!) DH joined me today. The second week of the lean phase is feeling easier.

Went to a band meeting this evening for ds, he is in the school band (trumpet) and they do 2 trips this year with quite a bit of fundraising. He's trying to decide if he wants to stay in it as he's not really a big "music" person. It's a big time commitment but the trips would be fun. My biggest concern is that the first trip is the same week we come back from Disney so I hate for him to miss so much school close together.

Patricia Oh, hockey is starting what fun! HAve you seen that commercial ( I think it's for Timmie's) where the show all the dads line up at the hockey boards with their coffee. "The morning board meeting" . I tease DH because that's exactly what all the dads do.
I remember wondering about Meso 3 because it always looks like Cathe is finishing the right number of reps.

laurie Did you get that run in? This evening was the first time it really felt like winter and it's so dark in the evenings. Are you still going to the gym at all??
Kim

Morning,

I have not worked out yet, but will do so when I get home. I am going to watch my youngest run in her last cross country race. My workout will be BFBM, and Ab Circuit Med Ball. That should be a good compliment to BFBM. ;)

Patricia, Now that I'm almost done with Meso 1 I'm really looking forward to the other workouts. ;) How is that tower working out for you? Hope your DH stays warm enough on that ice! :D

Kim, Glad CLX is getting better or easier as the case may be. :D Your ds sure is a busy guy. I was a music geek, and always had a great time with the band. Loved my sports too, so can understand the time commitment. Yes I did get my run in, it was only 25 min. of interval work. ;) Have been to the gym infrequently to do some swimming with the girls on Sundays. Nothing to strenuous on my part.

Have a great day!

Hey Coolers

I did Imax 2, up to and including interval 7, then STS AC-med ball. That's it workout wise for me until after Thanksgiving:rolleyes:

DH is cooking prime rib so no turkery for me:( Oh well, DS had it today at daycare.

Take care Coolers

Shock Cardio is getting filmed next week!:D:D Hoping to have them for January 1st

American Pie??? (DH told me that) SHould I not send ds to band camp???

Did CLX Lean Circuit 3, only 11 CLX worktouts left. I've enjoyed CLX but getting anxious to try Insanity. I have a fear that my cardio has got very poor after STS/CLX both being weight intense with very little cardio.

Getting some little snow here today.
Kim

Happy Thanksgiving (even if you're not Canadian:D)

Home from the cottage this afternoon. I have NO room now in my fridge or freezer from everything brought home, dry goods spread over my kitchen counter. Will try to find a home for it all tomorrow. We didn't completely close the cottage as we're having a deck built over the next 2 weeks and the workers are using our boat and facilities. So will have to get back down there 2 weekends from now to inspect the deck b/4 paying for it and then pull the boat out of the water and blow out the water lines.

We had a bit of flurries this a.m. for about 2 min. but it was a good sunny weekend considering all the rain we've had the last few weeks.

We fed about 12 people and a good time was had by all. Another couple stayed over. They have one boy the same age as DS so he had a playmate, and got to share a bed so his 1st sleepover!

Got my w/o in this afternoon. Disc 31B - Chest and Back. I lowered the weight on my deadlifts as my back is feeling "twingy". Will be glad for the 85% selection next 2 weeks!;)

Kim - I'll probably be finishing up STS the same time as you and CLX. If you haven't seen American Pie its a good rental! What did you do this TK? I saw the announcement about the filming. No way she can film all b/4 the Daytona RT. I would expect it'll take a few weeks for 11 to be filmed. Probably they will film one w/o at a time so each one can get into post production ASAP.

Laurie - how did DS do in the race?

What do you think of the downloads? I think they're a great idea but I don't own an Ipod (well DH does). Maybe down the road but I like my dvds for now.
