Cookie Lee?

My MIL is getting into this business selling jewelry for a company named Cookie Lee. She thinks that I should join her and make some extra money. I've never even heard of this company before and am wondering if anyone out there has and what their experience with the jewelry/company has been.
Sorry that this isn't fitness related, but I know that there is a wide range of women out there that are reading these forums, so I thought that I'd come here first. Plus I trust all of your opinions.

Cookie Lee sells decent versions of the latest fad jewelry that are found in high end department stores. Its not quite junk but its not as well made as higher end stuff. But for fad jewelry that goes out in a season or two it doesn't matter. Some of these gals that started 5 or 6 years ago as consultants and now have 30 or more gals under them rake in thousands monthly by living off the comissions earned by those consultants under them. CL is a company out of Irvine. I do not work for them nor am I affiliated with them. However there are CL consultants everywhere here in southern california. They have a website but you access is limited if you are not a consultant. Check out ebay and you will get an idea of what the jewelry is like. Maybe if you live somewhere where there are few if any consultants it might be the opportunity to make some money w/out alot of upfront investing. Good luck!
