Diana:: Oh ok I got ya now re your computer expertise! Your kids build their own computers? REALLY!? WOW! I'm with you on the color coded cables! LOL Yes, there is space for me to work out where I am staying right in the bedroom we are using. It works out well. The only problem is that I can't do early am work outs there bc DH is still in bed. I could try doing it in the living room. DH is concerned that it will disturb his cousin who is the last to wake up in the morning (now that I am working for now!). His living room is one level below his bedroom though and on the other end of the house so I think that might be ok. Our bedroom is right above the living room but DH is used to my early morning racket so IDT it will bother him too much. :p I'll have to try it when I can make myself get out of bed early enough! :rolleyes:
 
Hi Girls

No workout to report. My stomach is still bothering me but it comes and goes in waves. When everyone went to school this afternoon, the baby and I went for a nap. I don't know how long I was a sleep for but I don't think it was long. I'm up and he's still napping. When I woke up I was hungry and had another healthy cookie I made, same thing I had for my breakfast. That's all I've had today....2 healthy cookies. I make them and freeze them for snacks. If I feel better later tonight I will attempt a workout.

Teddygirl** nice workout. Lol..at you not going in a unfinished basement. When I was at my parents house this weekend, I remembered (as I was coming up from the basement) that when I was a kid, I would always run up the steps in the night time cause I was afraid someone was going to grab me from behind! Lol and as I was thinking this the same fear came over me and ds was moving way to slow for my liking. Our house always made weird noises when I was a kid. When we were in the basement, I would hear someone walking around upstairs but there was no one else in the house. Come to think of it...maybe I shouldn't have been scared of the basement and more worried about the main level :eek:

Diana** I can't do a cathe cardio on a small tv, even though I don't look at the tv much. I think it's more about the sound system. If I had to do a full length cathe cardio, I want to have the music up. But with that DVD player, without the remote I can't get pass the introduction. DD said "I guess you aren't going out Saturday night now" I'm not sure what she thinks. I told her I had 4 days to get over it. It did bring some insight on how I'm going to feel Sunday morning though! I might have to stick to a 3 drink limit! I'll get to sleep in though cause the kids are sleeping out.

Wendy** oh I know what you are saying. I hated being bored at work. My job is so boring. I really don't even know what they pay us for. I think I'd be cringing if I had to go back. But it could always be worse. Saturdays were the worst cause not many people check in on Saturdays.

I will bb again later. I made some progress today, I called air miles and added the baby to my itinerary. I didn't add him when I booked cause I thought about leaving him home...should be a interesting flight with a wiggly baby.

WED - hump day and my monday (I like these short work weeks)

I am bbaaaaaaaack!! :D sorry so long MIA - but I have been one busy girl - and have put in some MILES since FRI - had a blast in Biloxi .. but we lost - but man did we have a BLAST!! we needed that sooooo bad!!! it was such a nice - fun - and romantic gettaway! ;) then we came home - then left for FL the next morning to bring our big boat home - that was a LOOONG day ... had to drive 45 mph all way home and DH was nervous wreck!!! but we made it - I took VACA ystdy - to rest and get house clean and laundry caught up!

LET ME CONFESS - I have been VERY bad girl - on eats - drinks - and exercise :eek::eek::eek::eek: I DID manage a 6+ mile run ystdy but that was it!! (and that didnt touch what I have been eating and drinking) and then I get a call last night not to forget the company THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON today :confused::confused::confused::confused: just refer to me as piglet right now!! :eek::eek: :confused::confused::confused::p:p

Wendy - YOU GOT A JOB while I was gone - woohoooo!!!!!! fill me in - I take it you are not in your house yet??? how is that going???? Our crews finally got home yesterday -

Di - I am here - alive and fat!! LOL but happier than I was last week!!! :D think some alone time w/DH away from this place and THINGS was just what we needed!! the only calories burned was the "fun" kind ;)

Lori - so not long now and you and DH will be reunited - :D:D:D hoping you dont have a bug - you cant be getting sick now girlie! you are on major countdown time!!!

Teddygirl - HELLO and welcome - I need to MAKE myself get up and work out .. it would be sooo much nicer to get it out of the way especially w/these short days!!

OK .. gotta a TON of work I need to catch up on - not sure on a workout today - i still have a ton of stuff to do at the house and it DH last night off before starting nights - UGH - ok .. have a great one!!
 
Laura:: It's only a temporary position to keep busy and make a little money for a while. Not anything long term or permanent but it's something for now.... Glad you had fun in Biloxi!!! I feel your pain re the luncheon for sure! I hate when bad eating events pile up one on top of the other so you have no time to recuperate in between! :eek:

Lori:: Being bored at work is the worst and I've been living that nightmare for too long now! Glad we both got out of the boring jobs and let's hope neither of us end up there again! :rolleyes:

Teddygirl:: Nice work out. I feel you on the 4am wake up call during the week so you can get your work out done. I got up before dawn for 2 years and although I'm not doing that right now, I see many more years like that in my future!:eek: As hard as it can be to get up though I love the fact that the work out isn't hanging over my head after work.
 
Good Morning:)

I think I'm over whatever was bothering me yesterday (knock on wood). I feel ok so far. My coffee is going down a lot better then yesterday morning and I'm hungry. Hope that's over with.....

So today's workout will be yesterday's plan, cardio and leaner legs. My UB isn't as sore either. Geez,...I was in rough shape yesterday.

I was talking to dh for a little while before I fell a sleep and he had just gotten off of the phone with his mother. She is still getting on with her same foolishness. I don't know how she thinks she is helping anyone by thinking and saying what she is saying. She's getting on my nerves actually. I'm losing my soft spot for knowing that its not easy on them either. It's like beating a dead horse. Only a couple more weeks and dh can deal with her/them.

Laura** sounds like you had a wonderful time with dh....much needed no doubt. Hopefully things will start feeling more normal to you guys without the dog around. I know ds is going to be devastated when something happens to our dog but he will be older then too so hopefully more understanding. He makes him go wherever he goes, even though the dog is reluctant to do so:D. 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!! On Friday I can say, less then 2 weeks!:eek:

I got ANOTHER head ache ystdy afternoon - that makes 5 or 6 days in a row .. not sure if it is sinuses or my eyes .. about the same time every day .. around 4 ??? ODD!!! no workout to report - lunch was AWESOME ystdy - need to get back to my working this stuff off!!

Wendy - well part time is SOME money coming in .. that is good!!!

Lori - wow - you are for sure on countdown now!! woohoo!!! as close as your entire family is - and as busy as your home is w/family - it is going to be hard on them too - yes let DH handle his mother!!! LOL that is always the best advice!! LOL - things are better at the house .. I wouldnt say NORMAL or w/o sadness - we lost a HUGE personality and energy - :( but it isnt as bad as it was!

I gotta so much to do today it is ridiculous - better jet - I hope to get SOME form of a workout done today tho - have a great one!

Office is empty right now and it's quiet so I figured it's a good time to check in...
As it turns out I still have tons of time to study for Saturday's test b/c I don't have a lot of work to do-at least not yet anyway-so although they did give me a couple of jobs to do, I've spent most of my time with my nose in a book today! I should ace the written exam ;) but the practical is another story!:confused:

So DS starts wrestling tonight. Practice is at 6 about 20 mins away from where we are currently living. This means I can't work out until after 7 tonight. UGH. Oh well...gotta do what ya gotta do!:rolleyes: (Di, I know you'll feel my pain! Practice is 4 nights per week! DH and I are going to split it..)

Laura:: Yikes! All those headaches do not sound fun. Hope they go away soon! Glad things are slowly improving at home as far as the mood. You two have been through the ringer lately but it'll get better n better as time goes on!

Lori:: No boredom, no stress...any other job requirements missy? ;):p:D Yeah ITA with Laura. Don't get between a boy and his mom. :eek: Let DH deal with her! My legs started to burn just reading the words LEANER LEGS! LOL Have fun with that one!:eek:

Hi ladies,

I had to work last night...first I had pc problems at home...then connectivty issue at work....then production issues.....:mad: Oh and DH irritated me too last night....not a good night.

After staying up late, I had an early morning meeting to be at this morning. No workout to report for this morning, but I have class tonight so I'm not worried.

As I was sitting down at the computer, Jerod comes back into the house (after I thought he already left for school). Apparently he's having car trouble. Had he not wrecked DH's truck I probably would've let him take my car to school today. Since I don't trust him anymore...I gave him a ride to school. When I get back home to my hot cup of coffee...and my computer time....the stinkin' computer shut down for updates.:mad: I just showered and came into the office.

Laura-headaches everyday sounds awful. Hope you get it figured out and fixed quickly. I think workouts between Thanksgiving and Christmas will have to be pushed into high care, short but intense if necessary. Buster will always be missed, but hopefully the pain will be replaced with all the happy memories he gave you.

Wendy-so you beat the boss to work today, what dedication you have! Did someone say SS!:confused: You will do great on the practicals too....don't discount all your knowleadge. That would probably be the most stressful part for me too. Oh yes, 4 nights of practice...hope DS likes wrestling! On top of a job with no boredom and no stress needs to pay GREAT PAY!!! How could you forget that?

Lori-Woo Hoo....the countdown is on! I get along great with my MIL. Probably best to let DH deal with it. No reason for you to be stuck in the middle.

It's almost 10:30pm here and I just got out of the shower and sat down to eat an apple after my work out!:eek: DS started wrestling tonight as I mentioned before and not only did it run 30 mins longer then it was originally supposed to but they also played freakin' dodge ball after so I never got outta there until just after 8pm!!! They weren't even done yet when I dragged DS out the door crying coz he wanted to stay!:confused::rolleyes:

By the time we got back here, he got to bed, and I got around to my work out it was 9pm. UGH! :eek::( I got it done though and I chose to do AFTERBURN to boot!:D

Ok, that's really all I have time for. Gotta finish my apple and get to bed. BBITAM though for sure!:cool:

Just heading to bed. Had a pretty good day. Felt better, had a good workout and had everyone here for dinner. Today's workout was ctx shoul,bics,tris, abs, 3 mile run, 40/20 and leaner legs. Not sure what ill do tomorrow. I have two lots of training in the a.m.

Wendy** well the only other thing I can think of is a old salary. No stress, no boredom and lots of dough:). Did Joey enjoy his new class? When do you think you'll be back in your home?

Laura** my mil seemed a lot better today. She even talked about us moving and so on...maybe she's come to terms with it. I dunno....I can only hope!

Diana** you didn't have a great start to your day. When my days start like that I just feel like going back to bed.

Oh...I did some Christmas shopping today and some wrapping:). I want everything done before I go see dh so that when we return home, I don't have to be buying gifts and wrapping them.

Good Morning:)

My 9:30 cancelled...she has a bad stomach:eek:. She most likely caught it from me...but she doesn't need to know that. So that gives me extra time before my 10:30 comes to do some stuff. I might even do chest, back and abs before she arrives and do cardio after lunch. I have no plans on going anywhere today. I was invited to a friends house for dinner but I haven't been talking to her since earlier this week. I also have my nieces sleeping here tonight. My mil was suppose to watch the girls so my sil could go to a bday party but I offered to take them. They've never had a sleepover here and they probably should before we leave.

I had a good conversation with my inlaws last night about the move. They seem to be doing better with it. We had some promising news yesterday on the sale of DH's building and I think that was a big relief for her. I contacted the military base, who offers child care to see if they had any openings. I also fund more jobs to apply on and I think I'll do that today. Now I just need real estate to all and tell me someone wants to look at my house!

I will bbl to report my workout!

Man getting up this morning was a struggle! I went to bed too late b/c by the time I was relaxed enough after my late night work out it was like 10:30! :rolleyes:

Lori:: Glad to hear your inlaws are getting used to the idea of DH moving so far away. I'm sure it's going to be hard. Sounds like he never went too far until now. My mom would freak if I was moving more then an hour away from her...and so would I! I've never been too far from her either. So how long did that work out take you y'day? Like 2 hours??? :eek: Salary is definitely a good requirement...well a GOOD salary anyway! LOL DS loves wrestling so far so we'll see...practice 4x a week may get old real quick. I know that it will for me!:rolleyes: IDK when we are moving back home. It's totally up in the air right now. UGH. DH is trying to figure out a way to not really have to move back home...not for a long time anyway. He is considering fixing the damage and then putting it up for sale right away. If we are not successful at selling in short order then he is considering renting it out. He just wants out of there more then ever now and I gotta tell ya...I'm game!:D I felt bad for DS though coz he started to cry when he found out. Wierd b/c he was always excited about getting a new house up until now!:confused:

well I think I am coming down w/a bug - think that is what the headaches have been about - happened again ystdy - and I was hot and cold off and on all day - throat hurting on one side .. GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR - no workout to report - I was SPENT - had day from H## again ystdy - something has to give - crap - it is one thing after another - and VERY stressfull at work - plus PIA has me in her "sights" again .. GGRRRRRRRR .. to add to the stress and frustration - ugh - just a CRAPPY CRAPPY DAY!!!

Lori - wow - I am impressed getting x-mas gifts wrapped already - WOW - but then again - I guess you will have to get yours together early this year!! Glad the in-laws are taking it better - it is gonna be hard on them tho!!! GREAT workouts !!!!

Wendy - I can see Joey getting upset about moving - now that he is older - it means something to him - and being so displaced the last weeks prbly has him a bit homesick!!! That sounds like a good plan if DH can get it up and up for sale!!! and if you are game - go for it!!!

DI - sounds like we had similar days ystdy - CRAPPY!!! lol ... maybe today will be better - well it has to be .. it is FRIDAY and a payday .. woot woot!!! It infuriates me when my computer shuts down and does updates when I am in middle of soemthign!! ggrrrrrrrrrrr - thinking my headaches are a combo of stress, eyes, and sinuses! :( triple whammy!!! :mad:

Hi Ladies,

Had a kick ass class night and slept like a rock afterwards. Today was a much better day then yesterday.

This morning I did about 25 mins of Horizontal Bootcamp. Seriously, I don't know why I struggle with this workout so much. She just never gives any breaks. The ab/plank work is definitely hard, but I struggle kepping up with the cardio.

Tomorrow I plan on hitting LB weights and cardio and Sunday will be UB weights and cardio. Perhaps one day will be a 14 mile bike ride since the weather may be nice enough to ride.

I just booked DS's trip to visit the girls for Christmas. We are going to miss having the girls for Christmas, but I think it's more important for DS to spend time with them.

Wendy-For that very reason I take the 7pm instead of the 8pm class. I hate not being able to fall asleep. You worked out and I give you kudos for that. I'm sure the whole being displaced and now not knowing if he will be going home...ever can be quite upsetting to a child. Kids need schedules and normalcy, and that's gone by the wayside for the past several weeks. I know you've wanted a new house for a long time. I hope it works out for you.:)

Laura-oh no, hope your sore throat goes away quickly! I'm starting to come down with something too. It's not bad yet, just some sneezing and coughing...but today my ears starting hurting. GGRRR I hear yah on the tight jeans....I've just been snacking way to much lately. It's not terrible, but I'm really noticing these few pounds as of late.

Lori-so the in-laws are finally accepting the inevitable, that you will be moving away. I always lived near my parents, brothers & sisters. I'm very close with my MIL and wouldn't want to be too far from her. Once she passes there really isn't anything keeping us in CO. Hopefully everything will fall into place, DH's building will sell, your house will sell, your new house will be being built :) and all the kiddos will be happy. You had an awesome workout by the way...I'm jealous. I love days when I can do all the w/o's I want.

Good Morning:)

WooHoo!!! It's Saturday!!! GIRLS NIGHT!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I'm excited? My goal was to get a good nights sleep...well that didn't happen. My running partner called me yesterday to ask if I wanted to make some extra money and do her hair. She cancelled her hair appt b/c her daughter wanted Taylor swift tickets for Christmas and I think she had to sit in front of the computer and wait for them to go on sale. Probably like the cathe RT sale. So I did her hair last night, then talked to dh and by the time I closed my eyes it was almost 1 and the baby was awake before 7:eek:. Maybe I'll catch a nap....maybe not.

DH found out that he I'd off Christmas Eve, Christmas Day but goes to work Christmas night and then he is off for 5 days. He isn't sure why day he actually starts work though...I think that would have been the first questioned I'd ask. His field trainer says that we will love it there, it's a very nice town and I should have no trouble getting work.

Yesterday's workout was CF and 20 mins tabata workout. I really don't like the last tabata of CF and I opted out. The scale it another low this morning...118.9. Haven't seen that number in a while. There's something to be said for a busy life.

Laura** hope you aren't coming down with something to nasty but this is the time of year for germs! The baby's belly still seems to be bothering him somewhat. He still isn't eating as much as he normally does. His breakfast is usually pretty good and the rest of the day is a flop after that. Now suck it up and get some good workouts in!!!!!!:p

Wendy** you had mentioned a few times before that you always wanted a new home. Where are you staying? With your mom? It is going to be hard on us being away from family. Our parents aren't getting any younger but it may only be for four years and then we may be back close by again. And they can always come to visit us. My parents are retired now but dh's parents are still plugging away. Do you have your exam today??? Good luck!!!

Diana** the link only partial opens. By the sounds of it, it should be fun! A friend of mine text me the other day and she said "everything will work out. Maybe not the way you want it to, but it will all work out". I've heard a million times, it will all work out....but for some reason when she said "maybe not the way you want it to" it made more sense. In a couple of years everything that's going on between moving, new job ,selling that business will hopefully be water under the bridge. Right now we are looking for rental properties in cold lake! Fingers crossed we can find something sensible.

Alright....my plan today may be a full body weight workout...haven't done a full body DVD in a while. But my main goal is a nice long run! I haven't ran much this week at all, dd is home and she usually wakes up at a half sensible time so I'm hoping to do that in the next 2-3 hours.

Hello.

Last night's work out was the cardio from Slide n Glide and about 20 mins of one of my Kundalini dvds. Today will probably just be a yoga of choice done in full to de-stress and stretch out....

I was done with the PT exam by like 12:30 I guess. Now all I have left to do is wait to see if I passed! :confused: I am pretty confident in the written portion (100 multiple choice questions with a passing score being atleast 70%). The practical is tougher to guesstimate...it's broken down into the following segments and each segment is graded independently so you can fail (70% to pass for each part) any one of the segments and have to retake it.

1) assessments
2) stretches
3) warm up
4) upper body exercises
5) lower body exercises

I was nervous as anything and was forgetting things I should know easily! They give you time to think about it though and even correct mistakes if you need to. I have no idea how they determine the grade for each part though. Toughest part is that you can't just do any stretch or any upper or lower body exercise you happen to know. You have to keep it to a specific list that are deemed safe for all populations. This messed me up b/c I kept coming up with the stretches I have done frequently over the past 10 years. Not neccessarily what I was taught in the last 5 weeks! :rolleyes: I think in the end I did okay though...Okay, I HOPE!!! I went first as the trainer and I felt better when it was my turn to be the client and clearly saw my partner doing far worse then I did!:eek: Is that awful?? :confused::eek:

I hate the scale this morning. It's up even more but I know it's from the Stuffed Pizza we had for dinner last night. I will be drinking plenty of water over the next few days....just in time for Thanksgiving. I need to buckle down my diet ASAP. I started tracking on WW yesterday morning. Of course I haven't added my stuffed pizza last night....that may be all my points for the rest of the week. :confused:

GS Legs & KPC were my w/o's from yesterday. My legs were already stiffening up on me last night and are nice and sore this morning.:D This morning will be GS BSB & a cardio TBD.

Wendy-I'm sure you did great on the exam! I'm so proud of you and you should be proud of yourself too! I've never done S&G, it has rave reviews though.

Lori- Hope you had fun last night. Guess you did since you haven't checked in yet!:p

Laura-Is your cold any better today?

Seriously...where is everyone??? I pulled a Lori today and did GS BSB, BS C&T, and DWP!:D I still need to do ab work....but I was hungry and needed to eat something after all that work!:p

Still working on laundry, but my bedding is done and that's all I really care about. I love the smell of fresh bedding! Towels are next.....

Getting ready to head to the grocery store and pick some healthy eats for the week. Thanksgiving will be difficult but I will do my best.....and it doesn't help that my weigh in day is Friday...perhaps I will record Thursday's weight instead.:D
