Oh wow! Thanks, everyone!!!! I wish I could have seen this yesterday! Things got pretty busy after I made my little announcement
I'll be working for a private company that serves as a sort of "quality watchdog" for local Medicare and Medicaid, and that also provides educational material, etc. for both the consumer and physicians. I'll be an Educational Writer - and that means that I actually will be writing, instead of all the odds and ends that I do now. And I WON'T be stuck in the basement. :7 :7
I'm really looking forward to it - during the interview, they told me this position will primarily focus on the medical/technical writing for docs, as opposed to basic stuff for patients. That makes me VERY happy, because it's what I really liked about my current job (when I actually got to write!).
