compression socks for travel?

Hi all. In a few weeks we will be traveling abroad. I'm not a big traveler by any means, and it's been suggested to me that I purchase compression socks for use while flying the long flights. So I'm looking for any suggested brands any of you may have. Should I get them for my children as well - and if so, any children's brands you like? TIA

I work in a durable medical shop and we suggest travel socks with a compression of 15-20 I would not recommend any for the children they're circulation is better than ours. I would not recommend Jobst because they are expensive because of their name any brand will do.

I bought some compression nylons from www.travelsmith.com or www.magellans.com (I can't remember which).
