Good morning girls,

Today I will do Pyramid Lower Body!

Thanks girls for all the get well wishes yesterday, thank goodness I don't have a chest cold. It's more like a head cold. I am also taking vitamin C, eat lots of citrus fruits. I am taking sinus medication, which is helping.

Today is a powerwalk on the treadmill....i will bbl to report it!

Can you believe that the county I live in has closed school for today due to a winter freeze that is in GA right now:rolleyes: I got an automated call last evening telling me this and i immediately went to the weather channel expecting some hug wintery blast of snow to be coming in.....nope just cold temps:rolleyes:

Good Morning!

I have been up for a while but DS wouldn't let me check in:confused: so I did a few things I needed around the house and now he is happy enough eating a cupcake while I check in! Nice mom, hey? Letting DS eat cupcakes @ 10 in the morning so I can check in! LOL

Im suppose to do PLB today as well but I am thinking about doing GS legs instead. I may be able to do it soon, while DS watches t.v and I can do it using the laptop.

I am trying to come up with my own rotation for Feb month, maybe one body part a day and 30-45 mins of cardio. Also, thinking about going hravy. It may soon be time to invest in some 30 lbs db's.:eek:

Ameila** the same thing happened here the other day. We received an automated voice message in the morning saying that snow was cancelled b/c we were expecting snow:confused: I remember when we went to school , we went IN the snow storm! Now they cancel school b/c we are "suppose" to get snow. It did get bad later that day but there wasn't a thing falling @ 7 in the morning.

Good Morning everyone,

Today I did 4DS bootcamp. I'm leaving now to run errands and later do some computer work. I'm going to fit in a nap too my husband and I are going out to dinner tonight.

Belinda -- Glad to hear you're feeling better. Have fun with Pyramid LB.

Lori -- You know when your son is older, he'll only remember how good the cupcakes were!! Your February rotation sounds good. I only own up to 25lb. dumbells and haven't even used them yet.

Amelia -- I guess in Georgia it's rare you get any snow days, so they thought they would throw one in.
 
Good Morning CTGF (Commit To Get Fit;))!

Woa!! It is super cold today. When I left this morning it was 9 degrees! I think this is going to be a loooonnnnggg winter. My wo for today was Pyramid Back work **rest** and do it again but UP only then do the T-Back Squeeze exercise from GS Back; Pyramid Biceps work **rest** and do it again but UP only then do the Curl-up, Reverse-down exercise from GS Biceps; Pyramid Shoulder work **rest** and do it again but UP only then do the Overhead Presses from GS Shoulders. Biceps and shoulders both burned like crazy (especially the biceps...I almost skipped the second Pyramid up). Hopefully there will be some good DOMs tomorrow.

Belinda - Enjoy PLB today...great job keeping up with your wo even though you are not feeling your best;)

Amelia - Enjoy your powerwalk! You gotta love the south....closing school for cold weather...heehee:D. I'm livinging in the wrong part of the country!

Lori - Hey superwoman! I haven't worked up to 20 lb dbs for anything yet!! Impressive;) Enjoy your wo today.

Deb - Great job on your wo. I'm a huge fan of naps...I try to get one whenever I can! Enjoy yours and have fun at dinner with DH.

So, you guys remember earlier this week I was in such a pissy mood:eek:...complaining about my workouts and all?? Well, I think what was really bothering me was my daughter's incident at school and how the school was handling the whole thing. My daughter was knocked down and the school never bothered to investigate (even though she has 11 stitches in her face) and find out who did it so that at a minimum they could apologize (Piss off #1) and then in the accident report they described the accident as if she had simply fallen on her own (Piss off #2). WELL.....after giving the principal and the nurse a piece of my mind (professionally, of course;)) the accident has been documented more accurately. The whole thing really had me fired up, but I think I am at peace with it....for now.

Trish** Are you kidding me??? 11 stitches on her face? Where on her face? Is she going to be able to hide them?? I would have been more pissed then you were!!!! I still would have gotten my workout in though cause I would have ran to the school and upper cutted every person up there. How is she doing???
I use 20 lbs for bics and 25 lbs for back and chest...and overhead extensions. I remember buying them and I could barely life them. I think its time for me to up my weight a little. Today I used 50 lbs for legs , when I normally only use 40 lbs. I have to lift it over my own head for squats so there is only so much I can lift over my head but I could probably squat with more...just not low ends:confused:

Deb** Hope you have a nice date with your hubby tonight. I think my sister and her DH are coming over and we are going to order in. I am suppose to be working tonight but a coworker needed a shift changed so she is working tonight for me and I am working next Fri night for her. Its always nicer when you have your "job" done first...now I will dread working next Fri night! LOL

So Im debating doing more cardio, although, I doubt that I will b/c my heart rate is lowered so I will probably just get a shower.

I did GS legs earlier , abs and I just finished a 4.5 mile run on the TM.

Lori - I'm so glad you are as outraged as I was. The school made me feel like I was overreacting without actually saying it. Amaya has 11 stitches on her forehead and it definitely shows. It's too early to know how it will look, but I'm sure it won't fade completely. She's handled it really well. Her classmates made her Get Well cards so that helped, too. Wow, you are lifting pretty heavy weights! I squat 35#, although I think I could do 40#. The only other exercise I could probably increase is overhead extensions...maybe to 20#. I'm thinking I will really push it for the 1RMs so that will give me a good idea of where I am.
