Morning all! So yesterday was a rest day after all. I am finding with STS that I cannot workout 7 days in a row like with otehr dvds, lol. Even though each dvd targets a few muscles at a time, it takes something out of you or your body needs the recovery ;). Disc 6 is tonight!

I know a lot of you wanted to know about my commute. It was okay. Interesting enough, my son's school district had a 2 hour delay and the road by us were pretty clear. I got off the highway and into the town where I work and low and behold the roads are a mess. BTW- I had no two hour delay! :confused: Helene mentioned the 1/2 lane roads, and that is exactlty what is was like, lol.

Anyway, I'll be back later with personals!

Belinda: I hate investigative reports. They're only investigative when they can show you bad stuff. Don't see the good ones much else they are called documentaries. Too many investigative reports and I'll lock myself away from the world. LOL. I do have a thing about germs.....so don't give me more details :p Hummmmm, maybe I'll take some antibacterial wipes with me next time to go over a few things. :eek: See, that's why I don't need to watch those things.... STS TB, I start with the weights that are recommended and I do fine for the first tri-set and the second tri-set comes around and even if it was shorter reps it was too hard a few times. I think it's because there is close to no rest. By the end I figured I could start a tad lower and manage better. I think the card prints out 70% and I was probably more comfortable with 60%. I think it's on the rotation a second time this week so I will see how it goes. Maybe I will do better.

Iris: Boo, where you at?

Deb: I am crossing my fingers that they can figure out what is happening with your FIL. Your family is in my prayers.

Trish: ^5 on the eats. So now, we have to keep it going. That's the key. My weekends are 300 cals higher from clean carbs. Are you still doing swim lessons?

Kristin: Yikes, 1/2 lane roads with bad weather. Yes STS requires good rest periods. That's why Cathe made the schock cardio workouts so people would have some easier short ones and some kick your butt short ones. Lady knows what she's doing ;)

I think I caught up with everyone from yesterday. I think Intensity is on the rotation for this morning. So I better get to it. :)
 
Morning Ladies,

I'm feeling good today! I had a great night's sleep and did my last STS wo! I'm looking forward to the next rotation, but it will be such a change. You get used to the consistency of STS (even though it's a different wo every time!)...guess it's time to shake it up!

Belinda - Great job on D3! So is this your 4th time doing STS?

Kristin - Looking forward to my rest day tomorrow! I only have KidMax on the to-do list! I never worked out 7 days with STS...always looked forward to that recovery day:D Have fun with D6 tonight.

Wow, I think I am caught up on personals from last night! Will check back in later during the day.
 
Helene - Ya snuck in on me! LOL @ Iris's Boo! The other day 8YO DD asked me, "who's boo??". So funny. Yup, I'm planning out my wknd eats right now. After work (or on Saturday in between running around) I'll get all my shopping done. Never considered adding cals for the weekend, but will think about it as I seem to eat more then anyway!! Go kick butt in Intensity!
 
Girls I have fabulous news...MY KIDS ARE SPENDING THE NIGHT AT THERE GRANDMA'S TONIGHT & I HAVE A BOTTLE OF MERLOT WAITING ON ME :eek::eek::eek:;):p Its a small bottle so i don't have that much damage,lol... Trish,Helene...i will be logging it in MFP:p

Anyways, being stuck inside all week with two arguing kids was absolutely INSANE...but we made it. The kids were out of school all. week. long. because of the snow:eek:

Today im doing a circuit of some sorts. May do some BM2, or perhaps HSC

I'm sitting in my meeting and realizing how sore my inner thighs are from Pilafes. ! Ouch!
 
Amelia: I was looking for the Merlot on yesterday's food log after what you had written. Glad you haven't forgotten about it :p

Trish: Saw you entered the details of your eats today. I updated mine and it's really quick now. I do a lot of "copy yesterday's" for some of my meals. I just almost always have oatmeal in the morning. Let me know how it works for you.

Belinda: I have good memories of M1D3 ;) Maybe I need to do another STS rotation.

Trish - glad you had a great night's sleep. I been sleeping like a baby last few day's, lol. That will change since DH is home again. What rotation are you doing next? Nice job, on your eating.

Hi ladies!! Thank you for all of the birthday wishes!! This has actually been the best birthday ever..probably because I AM OUT OF THE HOLE!!!!!!!! Do you know only 2 people said goodbye to me? Whatever! I don't care!! Apparently the biotch was gonna take on my work but today she decided she didn't want to do it so she is making people stay after hours and do it from 5-7 PM. I am so glad I left! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted!!!!! I have never felt so happy in my life :D:D:D:D

Today was a pretty full day; first I had to get a TB test so I can volunteer in the PT dept at the hospital. Then I had a tasting of Pyrate Rum...SO good! Came home & did Intensity...that is one tough workout! I'm glad I made it through :D

Kristin, you are so right; STS takes a lot out of you! I found myself barely making it through 6 days of working out.

Helene, how did you make out with Intensity? I don't have STS TB so yesterday I subbed in the Supersets premix that's 60 min long w/out core. I also did 4DS LIS cardio only instead of walking lol. That TB burrito you mentioned yesterday is giving me acid reflux just reading about it!

Trish, are you gonna do the Jan rotation with us now??? ;) Glad to hear you got some good sleep!

Amelia, have fun tonight! Everyone is working so I am alone tonight too which I really don't mind cuz I get to relax with my wine and cheesy Lifetime movies haha!

Deb, I am so so sorry to hear about your FIL. My prayers are with you and your family. LOL @ the plyo jumping jack at 5PM on my last day!! I didn't do that but I did do a whole bunch of squat jumps when I got to the bar as I screamed "I'm freeeeeee!" Yeah everyone stared at us but I didn't care!!

Disc 6 done!!!!! i am officially half-way thorugh Meso 1! I did narrow squats with 30 #DBs and my legs are fried!!!! I am loving this series.

Melissa- I posted it on facebook, but I'll say it again. . . Happy Birthday! Enjoy those Lifetime movies, they are my favorite and I don't get to watch too often with these two little ones. You have much to celebrate this weekend, huh? ;)


amelia- I am jealous. Would love a night alone with some Merlot! Enjoy girl!

Trish, lol at Kidmax. that's a 24/7 workout, 365 days a year ;). Congrats on finishing STS. I kind of know what you mean about getting used to having these set for you with STS. I like that even though it is a different w/o each time, it is consistent.
