I will do D12 legs and JM30DS today.
I will be back to report my workout and personals!
Morning all! What a terrible night!DH came home from work complaining that he felt a little achy, which was my first symptom. I asked him if he wanted to postpone dinner, but he insisted we go. He said he was looking forward to it, yada yada yada. We get ready, babysitter comes, we head out, all seems okay. I notice as he is driving, DH is turning on the AC one minute, then off the next. I asked him if he was okay, and he said yea, just feeling hot and cold. I said that is not a good thing, but he said he would be okay. We are on the highway when suddenly he asks me if I want to drive. I ask him if he is okay, and he says yes, as he is suddenly slowing down (they drive like speed demons on the highway here, and I got freaked out because he was slowing down fast and not pulling over). I kept telling him to pullover and he kept saying, "I am," but he wasn't. I took the wheel and moved the car over to the shoulder. He was breathing heavy and he was cold but sweating. I thought he was having a heart attack or something. He said he was seeing spots. It was terrifying. I wanted to take him to the hospital, but he insisted we did not go and after a few minutes he was okay as far as being coherent and the cold sweat was gone. I drove home and took his temp, he had 101 fever. he is sick with what Chris and I had. He also did not eat anything yesterday, not even breakfast because he was so busy at work and rushed home to go out for our dinner. He feels terrible. I don't care about the dinner, it just terrified me. I thought we were going to get in an accident and that he was really having a heart attack.
To make matters worse, I slept for maybe two or three hours last night. DH kept me up a bit, then Chris woke up twice. It was quite a night. Now, I have to go shopping because apparently there is a hurricane coming!
The last hurricane to hit LI was Hurricane Gloria (first hurricane to have a female name, I believe, at least that was the one cool fact I remembered learning as a kid, I was always a feminist, lol). It knocked down a lot of trees on my block, and I we did not have power for weeks. I remember our only light was a car headlight that my dad hooked up to an extra car battery. No hot water, no stove, no school (which was great at first, but then I wanted hot water and electricy). I don't know what category Gloria was. I am just glad I live in the center of the island and not on the shore. Now I have to go to the supermarket before the crowds come in. Going now. Getting water, milk, matches, all that good stuff.
My workout for today will be 4 DS KB. I think I need to do some kicking and puncing, lol.
BBL,
Kristin
