How is everyone? Its still crisp and chilly here. I don't think it will be warm anymore this year! Blah! I don't know whats going on! I bought another Christmas gift yesterday....just b/c Im in the festive spirit and all. If I keep it up I should be ready to wrap by the end of Nov!

I am going to go for another run outside. I would like to do a long what but we will see what I feel like when I get out there. DH also wanted to go out for breakfast but he isn't moving yet:confused: That's the norm in my house. I also want to decorate for Halloween today. Hopefully we will do that after lunch.DH also as a bachelor party to go to tonight so I'm not sure what I will be doing tonight, probably going to sleep early! Oh how times have changed! Going out is the furthest thing from my mind!

Morning all,

I was going to do a nice long post with my coffee but DD and DS got up of course.

I've been under the weather again. :mad: Better today. Yesterday I still pushed myself to do the insanity Fit Test and Meso 2 disc 13. I'm starting Meso 2 again since I didn't get in the grove last time. I really like it. it gives me DOMS!!! :eek:

Lori-Enjoy your run today. We don't care about going out either. We use to when dd was little but now we'd rather stay at home and watch a movie. :eek:

Today is a circuit...im doing LIC,i want to go on the treadmill but DH won't wake up until this afternoon and im not waiting that long to get my workout in and over with.

No weightloss to report this week girls, had a feeling after last weeks 3.4lb loss that i wouldn't lose this week Oh well, i will continue on. The last couple of days have been pretty hard though...always hungry? Im having a cheat meal tomorrow and i CAN'T WAIT, were going out somewhere...i want chinese:eek:
 
Morning Helened..high fives on the doms! I got interrupted during my computer time too, my DS decided to sit inside the bathtub and pour out the soap...with his pj's on:rolleyes::confused: I hope you feel better soon, wtg on pushing yourself yesterday!

Belinda: Enjoy your day. I don't see any more posts on visiting the PT ;). I thought Lori would encourage you to go everyday! How much longer is DD staying with you? Didn't you tell us that she had classes? I hope she is starting to get over the guy even if just a little. Enjoy your weekend!

Lori: So are you going to ask DH for PT appointments with Belinda's PT trainer for Xmas :eek: Just in case he doesn't have any ideas..... Your posts about the snow are depressing. We haven't seen any yet, but it shouldn't be long now. Wish I could have gone to FL with my parents, but I got to stay here, go to work and pay the bills.... sigh, I'd rather be doing Cathe on the beach! Hope DS behaves for you today and that you can get a good run in.

Amelia: You didn't lose, but since you didn't mention it, it sounds like you didn't gain either. So if you maintained the loss that's awesome. Your hard work is paying off. I hope your cheat meal is delish! I had pulled chicken again yesterday. Yummy. I have several portions in the freezer and I eat some every week. Of yeah, and my DS also got signed up for some extra schooling. It seems they want to help out his fine motor skills a bit and his language (which I am not surprised by since we speak French at home). He had it a couple of day already and he loves the teacher.

Iris: I am thinking of you. I hope you kicked some butt on the try-outs and that you are having a BLAST!!!! It's cold and rainy here (thought that might make your day even better if you happen to read the posts :D)

Cookie: So you are in the rat race are you? I am not sure about the work post you had previously, but I do try to enjoy myself. There's no other alternative, I spend too much time at work to be miserable (and I can make myself miserable thinking about it, thankfully I've put a stop to it). And I did go to school for it for too darn long. It's also the people that make the difference, it can make it great or it can make it horrible. It sounds like you are really busy with yours though. I just wish I didn't having to be running all the time for every little thing I try to do, even on the weekends.

DH finally got up (I told DS to go get him up :p) and took the kids to the bounce house. So I went and did plyometrics cardio circuit from Insanity. I coughed quite a bit at a point but I made it through and burned 374 cals.

I haven't been loosing any weight lately and I am truly happy about it. The way I look at it, I should have actually gained. I don't know if it's from STS or the combination, but I have been on a poor schedule with vacation and visitors for three weeks. That meant, few workouts and HORRIBLE eating. And the scale didn't go up like it would in the past. I'll chalk it up to the benefits from STS. And I am loving meso 2. I like DOMS, it makes me feel like I did the workout and pushed myself. Had too few DOMS with Meso1.

Anyways, it might be dreary outside, but I am psyched. I have my schedule back and I didn't slide back with the scale while on my forced hiatus. Woohoo. Having this board also makes it easier to just jump right back in so thank you all for reading my rambles :D

I just ate lunch and i feel soooo much better, my stomach was growling and my energy was lacking during my workout. I decided to do a low impact step premix,cardio & weights, she uses a stability ball and three lb dumbells but i grabbed heavy weights and had some good burns and got my HR pretty high...good workout. I can not stand those dynamic outer thighs on that one...ugh

Helened-Nice job with your intensity workout & keeping your weight in check. I know its hard to do when you have company over. Yep, your right..no gain for me this week:) im sure (hope) i will lose next week(fingers crossed) Ive got to keep my cheat meal in check tomorrow...chinese is so high in sodium:confused: its been months since ive had any..nobody here eats it.

Good afternoon girls,

I slept in today and it felt so good, except now the day is 1/2 over:confused: I ended up getting home late last night from work, ate and crashed on the couch. Today, I plan to do ME:)

Belinda - Is it getting cold in Germany yet? Enjoy your rest or workout today:)

Lori - I was thinking about putting Halloween decorations out too, not sure if I will get to it. Enjoy your run today:)

Amelia - Sounds like you had a really good workout so you can easily enjoy your cheat meal tomorrow:)

Helene - I hope you feel better with all this change in weather everyone is getting sick:( Meso 2 was my favorite. I hope to start STS again when the cardio comes out, but probably not until January.

Cookie - Any weekend plans? Have fun:)

Amelia: You are doing great! I need some of that to rub off on me. I was thinking that maybe we could have a mini challenge, I know it would help me, but maybe it could help you keep going. Not sure if you would be interested though. We could set 10lbs. I was thinking of joining the 10lb challenge thread, but too many people, I am not sure it would help me. Plus, I can't always post as frequently as I want, so I'd like to keep it to this one. I do good with the workouts, that has never been a problem, it's the eating...... Oh, and I LUV dynamic outer thighs! :eek: It's one of my favorite moves. LIS is for sure one of my very favorite Cathe tapes. I think it might even be my favorite.

Debb: That's right, I forgot you had come back from FL. Sorry :eek:. Everybody is getting sick up here too. I seem to never have fully recovered from whatever it was that I caught while I was in Orlando. Then I started getting worse again. Now I am on antibiotics and I am going to kick this thing even if I have to wrestle it to the ground. Bring it on! I was supposed to get a flu shot at work and the nurse called me that she had run out :mad: and then there's the whole craziness about H1N1..... Even the pediatrician was out of shots for the regular flu for the kids by the way! Sheesh! And yes, Meso 2 is fantastic. I don't know about Meso 3 and strength. Though I have done a couple of the plyo leg ones and I really like them as well. But since I got the STS tower (which is great) I will probably do the squat rack routines and do the plyos here and there when I feel like it.

FYI I am sitting by the gas fireplace which I turned on for the second time this year and I am loving it. DD is napping, and DS is out with DH to buy some quick Halloween decoration. The house is so quiet! I am loving this temporary peace.
