Great news....I went to PT today and we did weight work for my shoulder!!!! (I'm doing the happy dance!!) Surprisingly, he didn't start me off with any easy weights either. There was another lady with a similar shoulder injury and her weights were between 2-5 lbs for all the exercises. Mine were 5-10 lbs

!! The therapist was like, you can handle it. I was like, yeah, un huh, I'm a catheite...hear me ROAR

!! LOL! So, I did front and side lateral raises with the 5's, overhead press with the 10's and more band work for the rotator cuff. When I get home tonight I will repeat for my right shoulder to balance out. He said pretty soon I should be able to do push ups again.
Belinda - I'm so proud of you!! You are quite the role model. With my injury I felt depressed and barely did any workouts...I was just too PISSED! But, you are jumping right back in...WTG!!
Amelia - Great job on your wo today! If that knee is still giving you trouble, put some ice on it. There may be some inflammation and just icing it does wonders. Also, Alleve is good for me, too.
Lori - Great job on your run yesterday. It's hard to get back in the swing of things when your schedule is interrupted even by a vacation. Hope you get your weight work in today.
Deb - You took the words right out of my mouth...when is this rain going to end??? Hope pilates was fun today.
