Good Morning Ladies

Is anyone here considering Daytona? I know I would love to go...:cool: I am pretty sore today in all areas of by body....but I'm going to squeeze out some Rhytmic Step today, and some laundry...:rolleyes:

Belinda- Have a great workout! I hear ya on the DOMS...lol

Helened- I'm sorry about your cramp....:confused: Enjoy your rest day if you take one. Today is going to be very nice! I'm definitely going to try and catch some rays today.

Cookie- Vegas doesn't appeal to you??? WHAT? lol j/k....I love Vegas..and next time I go I really want to do the horse riding trip on the grand canyon definitely. So when you go, definitely check out the packages they have for that kind of stuff if that's what you like. =)

Trish- Great run yesterday!! I am very inspired now......my 2.5 miles at a time seeems incredibly piddly...but I'm working on it slowly because of these damn knees...lol Oh, and Daytona is the next "RT" kind of...it's Cathe's kickoff for the Egglands Best tour. I really want to go and maybe ( a BIG maybe) audition. It seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Good Morning!!!

How is everyone today? Im not back to work until tomorrow night so I still have two days at home:) Im not sure if thats good or bad! LOL

My bread turned out good yesterday! I was impressed with myself. So impressed that I may have to make more!!! I asked DD to rate my bread from a 1-10 and she said "you can't rate bread":confused: She said that just to tick me off! haha!

All of my purchases I bought last week have been shipped. I hope they are here by Fri, not b/c I am going anywhere, I just love getting parcels in the mail.

I didn't get my workout in until last night. I did a 6 mile TM run. The first mile was a warm up and the other 5 were intervals and hills mixed together. It was a awesome workout and something I have to do more of in the near future.

Belinda** Hope you find energy for your workout. I love DOMS, kinda ticks me off when I don't get any!

Cookie** DD and I aren't really the same size. I probably have 15 lbs on her but she can wear all of my shirts but only some of my jeans. The ones that don't really fit me but I jam myself into them some how:p:eek:

Helene** I don't like pushups on the ball either! I don't like anything that feels like I am going to lose my balance.

Trish** Sounds like you had a good day with the girls. We were suppose to have a small water park open here this summer but nothing came of it. They were probably waiting for parts to come or something like that. Anyway, it is almost Sept so I highly doubt it will get used now.

So I have a feeling that todays workout will be a run outside with my running partner. If not, I will pack DS up and we will go anyway. It is sunny but there seems to be bit of a nip out there. I also need to do chest and back....was suppose to do that yesterday but never did it!!

Iris** We posted at the same time.....good job with the DOMS! Have fun with RS. I haven't done that workout in a looong time. Once the snow comes I will start pulling out all kinds of oldies.

Well, I thought i would wake up to some enormous doms but, eh, none yet:rolleyes:

THANK YOU girls for your kind words yesterday...made me feel so much better after i read them. Im not going to worry about the before pics...afterall, there before i lose my weight:D;).

Today is Plyometrics, kinda looking forward to this one..i wanna do some cardio.

Belinda-Great job on your workout yesterday! How did your cardio go today?

Iris-I would love to go to daytona...but it won't be happening:rolleyes: Awesome job on your doms and enjoy your step workout today!

Lori-I love getting stuff in the mail too..so exciting. Its like opening up a christmas present,LOL(even if i know whats inside) Great job on your run yesterday!

Trish-LOVE the pics of your cats yesterday...so adorable!

Helened-Abb ripper was pretty intense, Cathe's stuff is harder though. Tony seem to focus on using the weight of your legs for resistance. Like in and outs, legs scissors, leg climbers,. he also did some standard sit ups with the legs stretched out straight and we had to touch our toes. LOL, I didn't know what a dive bomber was either...i think Cathe did some in one of her workouts...

Hello again.

Well I ended up changing my mind at the last minute and did the double cardio premix from 4DS HIS/LIS...I just love that workout...it went well considering how sore my legs are!

Lori- Have a great run today!! Sorry I missed ya before.....;)

Amelia- Plyometrics are the Devil.

I forgot to post my workout this morning. I had a busy morning. Right after I started us off, I went for a 45 min. run. I burned 450 cal..

Iris, I am not gonna go to Daytona! Way too much money for a day and a half, IMO! Great choice with double cardio premix from the 4DS HIS/LIS, love that one. Good job with those DOMS.

Lori, sounds like you getting a brake from work. Make sure you get in some rests. Love intervals and hills, nice mix of workouts. Great job on your run last night. Have fun with your run today.

Amelia, enjoy Plyometrics today.

PLYOMETRICS ROCKED this morning...WOW what a workout. I had the most fun AND i was able to complete the whole thing with little modification.
I was completely shocked when i looked at my HRM afterwards....599cals GONE:eek: I was thinking around 400 maybe......

Amelia, WTG on your cal. burn and workout! That's fantastic:eek: Yeah, I am lost more weight, that cake didn't hurt me this weekend:p;)
 
Hey Girls!:)

I had a good run earlier. I thought I would be tired from last nights workout but that wasn't the case at all. My running partner decided to push DS for a while and give me a break. Perhaps thats why I thought the run was a good one! lol DH is going fishing tonight so I will do my weight workout then. Our run today was about 14 kms long.

Ameila** Good job with plyometrics. I bet you are impressed with yourself! I told my running partner today that I was running hills last night on a 15% incline. She wasn't impressed b/c we are training for the same race and her TM doesn't go up that high. Plus she didnt think there was a need for me to train like that. Why would I do 10% incline if I know I can push myself at 15%. Thats just silly! Thats why I want to train for this race alone cause there is no use going at someone elses speed.

Belinda** Good job with the run!!

Iris** I never did get the hang of 4DS step. I probably didn't do it enough, thats why. I have a hard time adjusting to new videos, then I get discouraged and give up.

I think thats it for personals. Im not sure what our afternoon plans will be.But we will have to get out of the house for a little bit.

Howdy ladies, it's me, the NO-WORKOUT queen. I stayed up way too late last night and was too tired/lazy to do my weight work this morning. I had enough energy to do NO-Equipment Abs, which was the first ab wo in about two weeks. What a slacker I have become:confused:.

Iris - Ah! Daytona...now I get it;) If Cathe were auditioning in NY, I would definitely be there. I attended the Eggland launch in June and it was FABULOUS! If I had the time and extra money, I would go! I hear you on the knees...mine suck! I can only *run* on an elliptical. I don't think I would make it 1/2 a mile on the ground.

Lori - So, what kind of bread did you make yesterday? Fresh baked bread is soooo good. Yum! Nice run today;) How did your spaghetti turn out?

Amelia - Wow, you do plyo too?? I wish I could. I can imagine your heart rate really gets up there. Great job with the cal burn and completing the whole wo;)

Belinda - Nice job on your run and cal burn:)

Hey Girls,

Just check'in again! Im getting better all the time. DS is ready for bed so while he is eating his snack and playing, I am getting some computer time.

Trish** Oh, you asked me how I made spagetti in the slow cooker. It was just the sauce of course and the meat was already cooked. I threw the veggies, sauces, meat and spices all in together and let it sit for a couple of hours on low heat. So easy to make! And I made white bread as well. I don't normally eat that stuff but the people who live here do:p.

Hello!!!

Well I fixed the "o" key on my keyboard so this should be a bit easier.

What a day, no wo and still beat, don't know how that happened.

Trish- I loved the kitty picture. Thanks so much for posting them. We had a cat but no more and I think I am going through kitty withdrawal. Two kids is enough at the moment, though I would so love another cat. But we are not home enough I think. Maybe when the kids are older, I don't think they would have a hard time talking me into it :D

Cookie- LOL, I live North and work South of the other river. Can't wait for the races to be over, between that and construction, Northway traffic getting home can be a pain in the evening! Glad that Iris finally sorted out the weather issue for us though. It was beautiful today!

Lori- Forever running. What can I say? Well WOW about sums it up from my end. Where do you get the energy, especially with kids and work?! I am simply amazed! I know you bought new pants but I think you might need a pair of new running shoes soon at the rate you are going :eek: That could be a budget all by itself!

Belinda- Nice running. Are you trying to catch Lori? :eek: That gave you quite a calorie burn, that's for sure. I hope your sinuses and the weather are both taking a turn for the better.

Amelia- It sounds like the p90X was a great way to go for you. I like plyometrics when they are in a wo. Though I've never done an entire wo of them. I previewed STS disc 26 (Plyo legs) to see what that was all about. Wow it's impressive. But I am a long ways away from that!

Iris- I haven't done the pure cardio 4DS step. I'll have to give it a try since I've done them individually. Are you seriously thinking of Daytona? That sounds like it's going to be so much fun.

I hope I didn't forget anyone. Hi to Maudite and Deb!

So no wo for me today. But I did get CTX in the mail from last week's special and I order this week's as well. Big spender! Good that I'm the one taking care of the bills and not DH. :eek: No new pants for me until that ticker shows some major change.

Tomorrow morning is STS Disc 8. I really should tack some ab work to that if I have time. Maybe I'll try the medicine ball 10 minute segment. Then it's off to work again. :(
