"comfy cone" for dogs?

Hi, has anyone used one of these? It's in the In the Company of Dogs catalogue, and if it's effective, it would be great. It's a substitute for those horrible plastic "catherine cones" that are used when the dog has an injury or wound that has to be protected from the dog licking or biting it. Here's a link:

I don't have one of these, but it does look like it would be more comfortable for our pooches.

I've never had to use it though. I keep it with my pet first aid kit.

Thank you for that link. While no one in my pet menangerie (?) needs one right now it is definitely good to know about. Dealing with E collars is a pain and a nuisance for your pet.

I wish I'd had one of those when my kitty needed it. I must say she did tolerate amazingly well.

Gosh I hate those awful cones. Luckily, I haven't needed one for my Princess, but I've had to use them with past kitties and it always KILLED me to watch how uncomfortable they were.

I've used this one on Jimmy -

Unfortunately, Jimmy is extremely flexible, so the only thing that really worked for him was a cone and a longer one at that. Poor. For most dogs, this one would work well - and it's a blow up collar, so it's very comfy for the dogs.
