.....::::: clean/tidy wednesday :::::.....

Dinner was yummy. I forgot to say--anybody who is interested in waxing, get the Sally Hansen home waxing kit strips from any drugstore. You rub them between your hands to warm up the wax, then peel them apart, apply and remove. They work really well and that wax doesn't bother my skin like salon wax sometimes does. Nad's has them, too, but I like the Sally Hansen kit better, especially for newbies. It has this great stuff you put on after you wax to soothe the skin and remove any wax residual.

Okay, I'm going to go work out now. Really. Honest. I promise. I have to. Really, I'm going. Okay, already!

anne

anne, im waaaay too scared to wax myself - esp THERE!:eek::eek:
eNJOY your wo!!!:D:D:D

i have ate 100 percent clean today. going to go down after nursemax and do some cardio. will eat a little carby sumthin and do my chores.
mike & i are planning some kind of wicked friday night cheat.....any thoughts?

Dinner was yummy! We had penne with spinach, bacon, and mushrooms, tossed salad, and some garlic bread-I had Neve's last bite:)

Kate, so the MGD 64 is good? It doesn't taste like watered down beer? I like Mich Ultra and Corona, but for 64 calories, I'll take it!

Anne, if we kicked you out, the clean and tidy thread would surely fold! How many times have we all come here not so clean or tidy? What movie? Go downstairs!!

Kate, your OD thread had me all choked up, too!! Dessert treat or dinner or both?;)

Hi ladies!! I have to catch up on posts, but wanted to drop in and say hello. I sure was beat yesterday after being up in the middle of the night. I didn't wo yesterday suffice to say, but eats were clean and so far so good today. I splurged on a Kashi bar when I was craving something sweet. We stocked up on tons of fruits from Costco yesterday so I'm pretty good to go. Today is ub weights and another uphill walk with the kids and baby in tow. I might have to skip the last hill since my dd walks really slow up that hill depending on time since I have to cook dinner - baked chicken and shrimp. Anyway, sorry for the me post, but I'll bbl for personals once I catch up on the posts.

Lisa

Hey, Lisa, no worries, no one expects personals, they're just fun when you have time. What UB work out are you doing today? Enjoy it!

Klaudia, that's my kind of dinner. You know how I love bacon! What did Kate post in OD? I haven't been there in ages.

Kate, what cardio tonight? And for cheats, you know I'm all about greasy/crunchy cheats. I'd go for nachos or pizza.

Katie, are your cramps any better? I hate that! I hope the beer and heating pad help.

Robin, chocolate covered pretzels are my absolute favorite. Sweet and salty in one delicious bite! Have you ever had chocolate dipped potato chips? Don't even get me started. Those are wicked good. I can't have anything like that in the house at all ever. I do enough damage in restaurants.

Morris, how are you today? I hope work goes okay tomorrow and Friday. I know you must have mixed feelings about it. Try to look on the bright side and keep your chin up! We're all here for you.

Colleen, tell Chris happy birthday from us! Have I told you guys I love birthdays? My birthday is my absolute favorite day of the year. It's your own personal holiday! Of course, my last two birthdays have not been very good (last year was one week after Jim moved out, the year before was one week after my dad had a stroke), but this year will be great. Back to you, Colleen, sorry I got sidetracked, I hope you both had fun tonight!

Hi, Angie!

I did PLB up only premix and the abs from HSChallenge. Not a ton of work, but enough. Baby steps for me this week. I moved everything out of the way and then put it all back. The carpet is definitely still wet down there. Oh, well, it should dry out in the next day or two.

We're leaving for the movie in about half an hour. We're going to see Monsters vs. Aliens 3D. I saw Coraline and I have a new love for 3D movies. Plus, I've discovered I dig animation. Have a good night, everyone!

anne

klaudia, yum dinnr!

oh how i love catching up with you all. i love all the posts. of course now i am super hungry - kl, your dinner sounds fantastic. when do you have time to cook all that? great day here. i got to the boys really early and we went to the playground for the afternoon. made them dinner, did 2 loads of laundry and cleaned for the showing tomorrow. i will be glad to have firday here as i dread my long day. eats are 100% here too. need a snack before bed though. i don't know if i ate enough today as i felt kind of sick eating after my long run.

anne, no way do you get kicked out. we are all here for each other, and i esp need you to talk me back into sanity;) and honestly, you are doing just fine! sorry your last 2 b-days have been so awful. when is your b-day? this year has to be good.

klaud, great wo. i have trouble pushing myself with chins and pulls. cathe is better for sure. your dinner sounds so good.

kate, you amaze me. how about fondue for a splurge with dh? it is romantic, fun, and delish! plus, make some of katie's brownies:eek:

katie, hope the miller helps the cramps. wondering who else on this checkin drinks? i cannot stand the taste of any alcohol:( my super long run was really not super long. 1 did 14 miles outside and lots of hills. i just kept going and it was great, but after my tummy hurt. i am fine now and no soreness, so that is great. it just takes so much time! (1hr and 55min)

lisa, hope you and the kids had a fun long walk and i hope baby does not keep you up tonight.

well, i think the house is as ready as i can make it. bed for me, then up early to do some cardio - maybe a few easy miles and some step? i'd like to do some core too, but we will see. my hair looks good for once, but nothing a little sweat and ponytail won't destroy:) see you all tomorrow hopefully at lunch time

Katie - I hope the beer and advil did the trick. I so don't miss having AF, another plus of nursing - no monthly visits! Hope you feel better.

Anne - Oooh, what did you sew? I am starting a quilt for my baby called Pond Pals. I ended up doing GS BSB. Oh and don't feel bad about the eats...my eats have been an uphill battle.

Kate - The only hulihuli chicken that I've eaten is the ones they sell for fundraisers around here. I have never made my own. The ones they make here is done on a huge outside rotisserie looking thing. "Huli" means to turnover. Yay on the clean eats for today and turning away from the cookie!

Colleen - I love sushi!! Have fun at dinner!!

Klaudia - Congrats on the pounds! Wow, great workout too.

Morris - Yay on the 100% clean eats! I hope your house sells soon. I know what you mean about the hair. I pay more than I should to get my hair done just to put it in ponytail.

Robin - Oooh choc covered pretzels! You are always so good about working out when I read your posts.

Hi Angie!!

I did GS BSB this afternoon before DH left for work and I had to skip out on the walk because it looks like rain. :( I would normally chance it, but not when I have baby in tow. Planning on some pilates tonight instead. Anyway, off to finish cooking dinner. Chicken for the kids and prawns for the adults! Although I have dinner and the rest of the night to go, the meals today have been clean. Kashi for breakfast, yougurt, turkey roll sandwich for lunch, and dinner as planned.
