Leaner legs finished (without the abs since I'm sore from y'day). I had to drop my weights completely for the second set of plie squats. I was dying! That's a great workout. I wish I could try all my new WOs in one day!

Kate, cake better than orgasm? Geez. I gotta get me some of that. Have you ever made sex in a pan? I was also worried about circumcision. I have three brothers and none of them are but I just couldn't imagine not doing it. Thankfully, I had litttle girls. To be honest, if we had decided to go for a 3rd, I would have wanted another girl. And yes, you are mary poppins.

Anne, I'm glad you had a good time at lunch. I can't wait to go out for a proper meal again. It will probably be a while before we have a sitter. We are having lunch with the princesses at disneyland but somehow I don't think that counts.

So, dinner actually wasn't a disaster... whaduyaknow. I had the McDonald's coupons sitting on the counter as a failsafe. There is some really good ice cream stuff in my freezer calling my name. Just think I'm going to have a very small slice. Eats have been really good today.

Well, time for shower and then to bed for another episode of lost. See you all in the AM!

Kate, when were you in France? Why and for how long? I need details, please.

I thought DH and I had decided where we're going for vacation in Jan/Feb, but now he's picking all these other places. Auuurrgghhhhh! Oh, well, I think we've at least narrowed it down to Playa del Carmen or Akumal. I hope so, at least, I don't want to go to Cancun. I'm sure it's fun if that's your thing, but it's not my style. I'm much more of a quiet beach, nothing really to do kind of gal.

anne, this sounds so bizarre....but i was in france to translate for my dad's 2nd ex-wife and her husband! i've had 5 yrs of french - would love to be fluent again. 1 yr of spanish too, but it was my senior year so it doesnt count!

your vacation sounds wonderful! we're lazy beach people too! every summer we stay on grand traverse bay for 10 days - it is wonderful!

I got my workout in. I ended up doing HIIT on the treadmill and it was hard. I did a 5 minute w/u @ 4.0 then these intervals: 20 sec @9.5/30 sec @4.0
30 sec @9.4/60 sec @4.0
40 sec @9.3/90 sec @4.0
50 sec @9.2/120 [email protected]
60 sec @9.1/150 [email protected]
70 sec @9.0/180 [email protected]
3 minute c/d @4.0
Then I did HSC Abs. Done in half an hour My dad came over and I got some shopping done, but I need to go back out after the girls go to bed for a couple of things I still need. Lunch ended up being turkey lunch meat and 1/2 red pepper filled with hummus. Dinner was a tuna ceasar salad.

All this talk of beaches! I'm so jealous although I don't even fly! I'll just keep living vicariously through you guys.

Angie, the scissor lady is my next door neighbor who we think is paranoid schitzophrenic. She sits outside all day cutting her "grass" with scissors! All the while talking to herself about conspiracy theories-too many to list. Her grass gets so high in the backyard, it's as tall as my 6 year old. We've called the city, police, social services and nothing. She doesn't work, have a phone or air conditioning, put trash out for pick up. No one comes to see her. Our neighbors caught her in our driveway screaming at our garage when we weren't home. Good stuff, no?

A clean and tidy road trip? I'm in!
