just finished step heat or jam or something! it was fun bt kinda corny. made me lol when she kept saying "thats hot!" :p:p:p in the beginning i was modifying up big time - how is it cathe gets harder as she gets older? the woman is amazing!
 
Mwah! Thanks, Kate! I know I've been MIA. Closing on the condo last week sent me into a downward spiral. And this weekend I had to start packing. And my boss is back at work and I'm still so mad at him I can barely look at him. Wow, how negative can one person be in a short post? One of the things I've been promising myself is that I'll start being a good check-in friend again. So, in that vein:

Kate, I'm glad Gina got off to school with minimal tears. I thought of you all today when the news said school was starting again. Does Isabel like her teacher? Do you like her going to the afternoon class?

Nina, how are you? I hope you're settling in okay. Your running amazes me! I'll get back to mine one day.

Backy, you poor thing! I'm so sorry for all you're going through. Mouth pain is no fun! I hope you get to go back soon for your permanent crown.

Robin, can you look at your daughter's b-day outing from the perspective of having done such a good job that she's ready to try some things on her own? I don't have kids, so maybe I should be quiet, huh? I'm sick of J & K, too, I don't understand living your life in front of millions of people. I don't even want anyone at work to know I'm getting divorced.

Klaudia, happy birthday to Danica! Chili cheese fries? A child after my own heart. I like those for breakfast with raw onions, thank you. That's after I sleep in on Saturday morning and indulged a little too much on Friday night.

Colleen, how is your new position? Did I see that you got a promotion? I'm sorry, I'm out of the loop. Congrats, in any case!

Katie, your BBQ sounds divine. I ended up going out for BBQ last night. It was yummy. I had pulled pork with cole slaw and baked beans. Hmmmmmm...baked beans (hear Homer Simpson voice).

Angie, you seem to be enjoying Insanity--are you sure that's wise? Just kidding!

I promise to try to do better from now on. Please don't think that I don't miss you, I'm just in a bad funk these days. I'll get over it eventually.

Hey gals,

I'm up late waiting to go pick up our friend at the train station. Ryan's in bed. Poor guy is useless without sleep!

Today was good - eats were a little too much. I've been hungry lately for some reason - not sure what is different.

Kate, I can understand being sad about putting your baby on the bus to kindergarten! I know that when I have to do the bus, it will be sad for me. I'm glad they did so well though! What a great way to start the year. LOL on the Cathe "hot" comments - ita!

Clean lunch and grocery shopping-with all 3 girls(!) is done! Dinner, per Danica's b-day request is cheese tortellini with marinara, tossed salad, and garlic bread. My uncle made her a birthday cookie instead of cake so there's that too and ice cream to go with! Give me strength! Going down to work out in a few minutes-maybe a CTX step today?

oh no, here is a downer post too. well, not totally down - i had a really clean and tidy day! no processed food, no snakcing mindlessly, and dinner was good except maybe a bit high in salt. i probably need it with all my sweating. i made chicken and stuffing (whole wheat) and veggies. the down part - dh was making pudding with ds1. i was sitting with aidan. well, dh kept giving finn little extras and saying "you get more, the bigger piece, etc." i finally said, "don't you think you are playing favorites?" oh dh is now furious with me. talk about over reaction! but he was playing favorites! i shouldn't have said anything, though he is the first to point out when i do something "wrong.":mad: i am too tired to fight. so, then i apologized for hurting his feelings and he says, "we will talk later." well, no thank you! i am done.

sorry for the rant.

Hi ladies! A quick drive-by post until tonight. We had another slew of unexpected family guests this weekend and now everyone is finally gone. I feel a bit off though. Getting over a small cold and kids had a day off from school. My eating went down the tube this weekend. Horrible is too kind I think. Today has been good and I did get 5 workouts in last week, but probably canceled out by all that junk I ate on Sat and Monday. Anyway, I'll be back with personals tonight after my workout. Need to get the kids out to practice.

Kate - I made the country white bread last week and it came out super! Making another batch for the kids right now. I am on whole grains myself. Need to get rid of this fluff!
