katie, i'm excited for your kb! i'd like to try it but i'm just trying to get my level of fitness back up before sts. a little ray of light to me was that today a lady couldnt believe that julia was mine - that i was too tiny to have such a small baby! made me smile for an hour!:D

and im glad my goof-ups are funny to you!:p its just it takes so darned much tp type w/ 1 hand, a lot of the time im typing w/ my left hand and im a righty....by the time i get it typed i dont feel like redoing things!
 
So I got my weights/pull ups in, but had to put off the run cause I had to take the girls to dance since one of the other carpool moms was sick. Not sure if I'll get it in today or not. I lose all desire to exercise at night-especially in the winter. Dinner ended up being popcorn chicken bites and waffle fries:( Didn't have pasta sauce or salsa for the ground turkey. At least it was trans fat free. I need to get to the store asap.

Kate, Darrin has a tape worm, I swear! He came home from work and ate the last donught! He's 6'4" and weighs 195-200lbs. He eats everything and can't gain anything! How'd Gina do? Good job on the workout!

Morris, what's the verdict from the doc?

Anne, I love doing pull ups! I started doing them with P90X. Now I just add them to my back and bicep days. They're the reason my back is my favorite body part:) Today I did 8/4/4 unassisted. Have fun at tap and have a great trip. "See" you when you get back.

Colleen, good idea to rest. You'll be better off for it.
 
klaudia, did you say waffle fries!!! i love those things! made em for the fam last week. i had one but wanted 2 dozen more!!!what a good car pool mommy you are! i used to exercise hor an hour+ every night starting at 8. that was pre-julia.....i cant hack that right now! we need to groc shop too - just ran out of milk!!!! lol on darrins tape worm! mikes the same way - 6'2" and 180 i think.... re g's foot:: turns out today was exam only. wart comes off next month... she was so relieved! meanwhile, ive gotta listen o her bellyache about it for another month!:rolleyes:
 
Katie, I honestly don't remember how I started. I've always been able to do a chin up or two. I just looked at my workout log from when I started the X last January and I was able to do 3 unassisted then. Now I'm up to 8 or so. I think the key is to keep doing them-every other day try and do a few. I would do as many as I could then put my foot on a chair and keep doing them to failure. They are hard-my DH doesn't do them;) But the results are worth it:)

Kate, I made the Alexia organic waffle fries-they're yummy! I hear ya on the bellyachin'-there's always someone here doing that!
