*****Clean & Tidy Tuesday*****

Kate, the "2 hour rule" is simply no food for at least 2 hours before you go to bed. I love food, but I love sleep more so it works for me.

Today should look something like this...

w/o Gym Styles chest & triceps
B cereal
S half sandwich
L grilled chicken and banana
S cheese and crackers
D Wendy's -- I know I have to eat Wendy's for dinner tonight, but I have looked up some nutrition facts online and I will eat chili and a baked potato, should be 500-600 calories.
 
Ooooh, Katie! Good planning for your dinner tonight! When I go to Wendy's I bring an apple and order a grilled chicken sandwich w/ lettuce and tomato only, and throw out the bun. Great workout too!

My day:
b - 1 egg, Nutrigrain waffle, apple
s - ??
l - chicken tortilla soup
s - ??
d- ??

Still need to go grocery shopping - hopefully today!

I doubt I'll get a workout. Very busy day planned and I have a very long board (bored?) meeting tonight.

I did NOT eat 1 single bite of DH's ice cream last night. He even handed me his bowl because he knows I like the last bite and I gave it back to him! Victory is mine!!!

Let's keep it clean clean clean today!

That's a good rule, do not eat 2 hour before bed time.
My w/o today was power-walk 40 minutes and core max.

s- protein bar
l- salad BBQ beef and corn
d- Spanish chicken breast and brown rice with beans
s- fruit

I am proud to post that I just made 3 dozen peanut butter cookies and I didn't eat ONE! It's a new recipe and they look SO GOOD but being fit looks better!

Hey peanut cookies is clean, except if you add sugar.:9 :9 They sound good and I can eat them for dinner they are so filling.

Katie, nice planning ahead for dinner!! I havent been to Wendy's since high school! DH loves it, he gets the grilled chicken sandwich i think.

Kate, you are so good about ice cream. I'm good during the week, but weekends are shot! Did i tell you guys about the organic rice ice cream i tried on the weekend? If i didnt, i will because it was amazing!!

Robin, Spinning was good, at least i broke a sweat, missed that. I did a 45 minute Reebok interval spin, it was tough actually. Then i tried to do some abs on the ball. my back is a bit sore this morning, but i also tried not to take anything for pain last night, need to ween off of those things!!
Robin, great menu and workout.
I'm heading for a conference, i'll post more later.

Robin - C&T is 48 minutes, according to the box. Man is it a good one. My chest aches for days after this one.

Steph - Glad you;re fittingin w/o's still. Not many would. Good for you! Hope your conference goes well! What's the countdown for England?!

Colleen - Tell us how the w/os are! I preordered the first hours and I don't have an email yet! I'm sure it will ship today.

Well, I caved and had a 1/2 of a peanut butter cookie. WOW, was it good. Meals haven't been according to plan, but keeping tidy.

Going to do Stretch Max w/ DD (3 yrs.) - she loves it.

Yes, Chest and Triceps is about 50 minutes long and it is HARD! I went up 2 pounds on my chest work this morning, AND I did the bonus burns with the band which I usually skip. I definitely got a nice burn going and will probably feel it tomorrow and for several more days.

I am home for lunch and wanted to check in on my ladies. Even though some of those not-so-clean goodies are still hanging around my office from yesterday's brunch, my eating went as planned. My chicken is grilling now.

I have court this afternoon, which is about .5 mile from my office, so I will get some extra activity from walking (and I am carrying a briefcase full of files), so that is a few extra calories expended that I can claim.

I am not that hungry now, so I may save my banana for snack after court and maybe just have some crackers, no cheese.

FOUR days to wedding dress shopping!!:7

Kate, i leave Friday for England, i'm very excited! I'm only gone for one week, but that's okay. Work is so busy.
I just came back from an obesity conference, it was good, no real new info though.
Menu: I always forget that's why we're here :)

B: you know it, oatmeal!
no snack, although lots of goodies i didnt have at the conference!
l: tofu soup, carrots/hummus, apple, and ff cottage cheese
s: you know it
D: I think i'm going to have my steamed veggies/lentils again, i have to use up all my cut veggies before i go away.

tonight, i'm going to attempt Bar method, and some pilates type lifting with 5 pound weights, i cant go higher until the doc gives me permission, which likely wont be until i get back.
I mentioned the UN envoy for HIV in Africa came to my workplace to tour our HIV clinic yesterday. I'm going to attempt to attach a photo, i'm on the far left, grey sweater, and Stephen Lewis is right beside me on my right. I dont know how to do it!! i'm trying! Any suggestions how to import a photo?

Ah....at last. My email notice...I'll have my DVDs on Thursday. (Breathes sigh of relief)

My day was completely not according to plan but it was tidy AND I didn't eat the trail mix filled w/ M&Ms that everyone was scarfing down at my board mtg tonight. Yay me!
