I so don't belong in this check-in--I would love a taco fried in Crisco! Will you guys forgive me? I can go without sweets for weeks on end, but a day without some form of corn chip or cheese? Forget it. And I love Cheeze-Its, too, but I go for the original. I try to have them as a treat, I don't keep them in the house. Of course, when we go on vacation it's usually the first thing I buy!

Klaudia, thanks for the address. I'll take it with me and see how I feel. Maybe I'm just a little run down and it's not really a cold. A girl can dream, right?

Kate, oatmeal muffins sound great. I'm sure the way you make them they're clean and tidy!

Morris, new DVDs would be great, wouldn't they? It sounds like that's not in the cards for you right now, I'm sorry. I could loan you some of mine, if you'd like. Tell me what you'd love to order and I'll see if I have it. I don't have the complete Cathe collection, but it's close.

Robin, your family situation is so hard. I empathize, believe me. I, too, feel most sorry for the kids. I bet if it weren't for them Irene would tell Tracey she's on her own.

I've been surprisingly productive at work this morning and the laundry is almost done. I have to take a shower soon and get some lunch. There's leftover chicken sausage and tortellini from dinner DH made the other night. Should be yummy.

The Judge dismissed my ticket!!

The whole courtroom was laughing at me when he called my case:eek: All the prosecutors were joking about whether to give me litter control or jail time. The baliff, a good friend, came and stood behind me like he was going to cuff me. The officer, laughing, said, "well, maybe if she promises to never speed again..." My face must have been completely red and blank -- how can you promise that? Under oath? The Judge said, "Oh, I'm sure she promises" and dismissed it! Everyone had a good laugh at my expense.

Collin and I are home and in pjs for the weekend -- spongebobMAX for him, napMAX for me.

kate, finn told me the other day that,"mommy, my. naughty is coming out!" said with a twinkle in his eye. i tell him all the time when he is impish that mr. naughty may not come out. he is a good listener i guess:D

anne, you are very very kind. i am not sure what i want right now, mainly to try new things like some tough yoga or classical stretch. i think it is the sts stuff i am missing - i got cathe's last 2 series in nentirity and am bummed to miss out. glad you are having a productive day - hope you keep feeling better.

work is done, long dog walk done, grocery max done, wish i were napping, but, i will go pu my children!i am praying for good sleep for all tonight. eats got a bit untidy - had too many nuts for sure - but, i guess it could be worse.i have fish and brussel sprouts planned for dinner - i love them. plus, finn will eat the fish with me - aidan too maybe? hope to bbl

Crisco - yuck but I love sourdough bread. I never buy it but every so often Chris brings it home and I have to have a piece. FIL once asked why anyone would eat WW bread - umm it's healthy. Jeez - why doesn't anyone get it.

Katie, glad you got off for your ticket. I guess it was worth the embarassment.
Kate, get out of the office. I think it will settle everyone down.
Anne, my mom loved cheez-its growing up so we always had them around. I can't eat them now.
Klaudia - I did stay away because I couldn't find them (I didn't look very hard for them). I had my clif bar instead.
Robin, why does it take some people so long to wake up? Why can't they just get it? I actually thought week 2 was harder for me for UB, but LB week 4 was the hardest. Maybe I didn't go heavy enough.
Morris - you snuck in on me. How do you prepare your brussel sprouts? Chris loves them but I don't like them just steamed.

Ok - back to work. Maybe if I plow through everything without interruption I can get out of here by 5 which is early for me.

Kate, try doing the pictures as attachments, I find that's easier. Go to Post Reply, then click on the paperclip (to the right of the font settings). You'll have to find the file and then upload it.

Almost done at work. I picked up the bday cake, but I had to stop to buy wrapping paper because I didn't have enough for the size boxes I have for the gifts I have to wrap. I'll do that in a few minutes.

Katie, great job on getting out of the ticket! One day you'll laugh about it.

I didn't escape. I got a crisis phone call at 4:50 so I had to help everyone figure out how to do their job and how to talk to other people they work with. I was so frustrated with them. Some of these people get paid way to much to need a babysitter. So annoying!

Kate, I hope to see the picture soon! I am so jealous you had dinner already. We are going to start cooking soon. I am hungry.

kate, i cannot wait to see a pic of j. i will try to post some of my guys soon.

so, i make brussel sprouts by slicing in half or quarters, drizzle with tiny bit odf olive oil, salt, pepper, roast 15-20 min at 400. soooo delicious. i cannot stand them boiled or steamed but love them this way.
