5) For someone new to exercise, 6 to 7 days per week can be too much and the body may not be getting proper recovery time to allow her to obtain optimal results. She may be over training and her body can be in a constant state of repair and breakdown. I thing 4 days per week (every other day) might be better initially.

I'm not a beginner to exercising but I've been tired lately. I usually w/o for 6 day per week and find that I'm still sore from the last weight w/o but I'm suppose to do another weight w/o today. Do you ladies think that I may be over training?

Here is a typical week:
Sun: weight training like MM
Mon: power walk 1 hour
Tues: off
Wed: circuit
Thur: kickboxing
Fri: cardio
Sat: step

I was thinking of taking two day for rest per week and only w/o for 5 days.

Good morning everyone!

Chick-fil-A is a fast food chain that only sells food with chicken. Their speciality is a chick-fil-a sandwich which is a fried chicken sandwich on a buttered white bun (very good)!

Robin - I don't think you are overtraining, but maybe you need a rest week. When was the last time you took a full week off? I will admit I am terrible at taking a rest week, but I find that I need one every 4-6 months.

w/o - not decided either running or an interval step workout
b: shredded wheat w/ almonds
l: tbd
s: fruit
d: london broil

Have a great day!

Robin, I have been thinking similar thoughts about my weekly rotation lately. I may cut back to 5 days instead of 6 and see what happens. I am just SO TIRED all the time, maybe from all the cardio.

Chik-fil-A went alright, I definitely ate the breaded and fried chicken sandwich and fries. I guess as long as I don't do it every day it'll be alright.

I am totally unsure of my food or workouts today. I will do my best to keep it tidy at least!
