Clean & Tidy - July 26 - Thursday

Good morning! Last night went good. Stuck to my dinner plans and had some choc cream pie, but it was worth every calorie!

I'm aiming to make today squeaky clean! HEre's the plan:

b - scrambled egg, ww eng muffin, fruit
s- up in the air, but low cal, clean
l - roast beef (all fat trimmed away) with grilled veggies, fruit
s - clean..tbd
d - probably out to eat, so a grilled chicken salad

I'm hoping to do a cardio/weights mix tonight. After that I'll be working crazy late. I have to do my WO first though or I won't do it when I get back from work. I should feel lucky to have such a flexible job, but i don't always.

Jess, thanks for the recipes. I must've missed the pancakes the 1st time. Does the cottage c. completely dissolve? The smell/taste of that stuff makes me gag. Wish I liked it. Thanks....
 
Morning All

B- 3 egg whites and turkey bacon (I'm hungry)
S- cashews
L- turkey on whole wheat, lettice and tomatoes
S- protein bar
D- salom cakes, side salad
S-apple
Fluids- 60-80oz


W/O- Old Fashion Firm Cardio 1 hour...I have too much DOMS for Cathe today.

Jess- Thanks for the Frittata Recipe. I hope your daughter feels better. I also eat sugar free fudge sticks and if I close my eyes it taste like the real thing...almost.

Valerie- LOL on vacation junk food and down home cookin (fried chicken) always taste good until you try to go to the bathroom:eek:
I guess our system is not accustomed to junk food.

Elaine-Your son will get use to those braces.

Kate- I plan to do scrapbooking with my girlscouts this fall. Salad with apples and dried cherries sounds soooooo good.

Phyllis- I love salmon too

Wendi- great menu yesterday. "So you think that you can dance"...which styles of dancing do you like. I like anything Latin and Disco. I often wish I can take up Ball Room Dancing.

Wendy, i didnt realize there was a step class on the Friday, otherwise i would have flown in earlier, i think i arrive early afternoon :(
I guess the roadtrip will be one vacation we wont feel guilty about with all of the activity! Now my trip to England in October will be the non-clean trip!
Woke up at 4am and did MM, i know, i'm a little nuts, but wont be home until later today from work and i need to clean max.
so far:
usual oats/hemp pro/berries/almond milk
already 2 L of water too.

Hey clean & tidy eaters! YW for the recipes. I make the protein pancakes a lot (and I see someone posted a very similar recipe in the open forum, so they're popular!) and love making frittatas, easy way to get in veggies & protein! I've also added tofu to it before & it's good that way also!

So far today.. I did GS legs (standing only) will do the rest + abs later (dd's were up & ready for breakfast!).

Liquids ~ 40 oz water, cup of coffee, 2 cups half decaf

Post- workout ~ Choc. protein shake made w/ water

Breakfast ~ Usual oatmeal + berries

Snack ~ Probably yogurt + berries

Lunch ~ I think we might head to the pool so I'll pack a lunch.

Snack ~ Probably Kashi GoLean

Dinner ~ Leftover chicken & baked sweet potato
 
HI all,
I have been gone for awhile, my husband took me to Las Vegas for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. I refuse to even put on this check in how bad I ate while gone, but I did log in 10 + miles walking each of the 5 days we were there. I also won $123 on a nickel machine. I actually brought it home with me too.

No workout today-trying to get my body back on the local time!
B-raspberries and yogurt
L-chicken breast and quinoa pilaf
D-Salmon 4 oz and champagne vinaegrette salad
S-popcorn

Stephanie - Yeah, I've always thought about planning to take a trip down for her Fri am step class. The club is only about 2 hours from me and I did catch wind of some of the RT'ers flying in Thurs. I just wasn't sure if she'd actually be the one to teach it with all the RT prep that she's probably got going on. I would have loved to have met you and possibly a couple of other Catheites.

Kate - Dried cherries are like candy for me...YUMMY :9!

Robin - Oh, I love every type of dance, but am most partial to contemporary because that was one of my strengths. I trained for 18 years, was a teacher's assistant while in college (I've got a Bachelor's in musical theater) but had to give it up when I broke my back a few years ago. I miss it more than I can put into words. My only regret was that I never got to do any real partner work because I was too heavy ;(. It figures that, now that I weigh 33lbs less, I've missed my opportunity...oh well.

No workout today because I had to be at work by 6am so I'm staying super clean...

B - spinach and mushroom egg white omelette
S - steel cut oats with blueberries
L - salad with shrimp, banana
S - tomatoes with balsamic and fresh basil (it's taking over my herb garden!), cherries
D - leftover jerk chicken, half a sweet potato, grilled balsamic veggies
NO dessert, not even the traditional vanilla cone after bowling tonight!

OK, and here's how the rest of my day turned out..

Snack ~ Kashi GL + Mighty bites w/ light choc. soymilk (out of regular, but the choc. was pretty good!)

Lunch ~ Asparagus stir fry frittata w/ 1/2 c. eggbeaters & tofu; Light multi grain English Muffin w/ NM PB

Snack w/ dd's ~ Air popped popcorn w/ ICBINB spray

Another snack ~ 20 mixed nuts, handful of Mighty Bites (and that was it for the box- thank God!)

Dinner ~ Leftover chicken w/ tomatoes & green chilis; baked sweet potato topped w/ 1/2 c. cott. cheese & cinnamon (all of this talk of it on the open forum- YUM!)

Dessert after a walk w/ my dd's ~ Deep choc. Vitatop w/ NM PB

Snack ~ SF hot cocoa

I guess it was more of a tidy day!! :9
