*******Clean & Tidy Challenge! Tuesday*********

Let's have another great day girls!

I'm challenging myself to have NOTHING unclean today. Not even tidy. I'm going for super clean today. My birthday is next month. My MIL always takes me shopping for a new outfit and I want to be a size smaller. Wish me luck!
 
Well, DH just came in and saw my post so now I HAVE to make good on my vow!:)

b - shredded wheat, banana
s - energy bar
l - salad of some sort
s - fiber crackers, apple
d - chicken tortilla soup, raw veggies

One thing I decided to do last night is to not keep ice cream in the house. We have 2 - 1/2-gallons left and once those are gone I'm not going to stock up on it anymore. DH wants a huge bowl every night. He has a crazy-fast metabolism and never gains weight from it. My metabolism seems super-slow. I stock-pile this stuff when it goes on sale (Edy'd slow churned...mmmm) but if I just bought ONE at regular price when we actually needed it (birthdays) I'd be spending less anyway. So I'm declaring a war on ice cream. And even though he doesn't necessarily gain weight from it, it's not healthy to have all of that every night. AND DDs don't need the daily temptation and I'm tired of telling them they can't have it every day. PLUS the holidays are coming and who needs the extra temptation?!

Goodmorning everyone!
I am back, I am alive, and not in jail. I survived it. They ate all my Ben and Jerry's the first night, so I didn't have to worry about that either. DD got strep throat on Saturday, DS coming down with it today. Oh well, so goes life...
Kate-I am super proud of you and your efforts to tame the ice cream beast. Its like giving up your blankie, a source of emotional comfort. I stopped buying gallon containers and started buying the pint, 1 which was enough for thr 4 of us for a serving. I used to buy 2 gallons a week before. Now that its gone...I don't miss it as much, but Edy's was my favorite too.
I am joining Kate on here super clean and tidy adventure. My houseguests ate everything that was not clean so its a good time to start!

Hey Clean & Tidiers!! I've been around eating clean but haven't been posting!! My challenge is that I made 2 loaves of choc. chip banana bread & am not eating ANY!! I do make it healthier w/ whole wheat flour & oatmeal, but it does have sugar in it too!! My kiddos love it though, so I will save it for them & NOT clean up their leftovers either!!

Workout so far ~ 3 mile run

Liquids so far ~ 40 oz water, large mug of coffee

Breakfast ~ Oatmeal (1/2 c. old fashioned oats, 1 T. flax, 1 T. wheat germ, 1 T. NM PB, 1/2 scoop cinn. roll protein powder, & 1/4 c. cott. cheese)

The rest of the day's plan:

Snack ~ Apple & yogurt

Lunch ~ Veggies + protein

Snack ~ Kashi + light soymilk + strawberries

Dinner ~ Grilled chicken, baked sweet potato, veggies

Ice cream war is on, can we have a pie/cake/cookie war too :)

Today, my back is still a big mess, but, like me, i did LIC last night. I'm going to try to lift tonight.

Food, no worries, i think i'm gearing up to be injured!
