[][]clean it up weekend[][]

BM2 done. You know, it's really misleading when she says a 90 minute workout since once you finish the abs and stretch, you're at 100 minutes! I also am disappointed that she doesn't tack on the challenge to the step portion. I mean, if you're working out 100 minutes, what's another 6? And, after the stretch, I'm not going to sit up, go to the menu and start the challenge. I'm seriously not that motivated (although i thought about it because I really enjoy the challenges!).

I'm experiencing some sever DOMS in my chest that with circuits is not going away!! I took it relatively easy today with chest work but she always works them SOOO hard!

Klaudia, ^5 getting in a WO yesterday. And, from my "in France" perspective, if you're going to have pizza, don't waste it on Little Casear's!!! Please eat something good like Rosati's or Lou Malnati's or Giordanos! This Chicago girl NEEDS good pizzza! Enough of goat cheese.

Okay, I might do a seg of sm tonight. I feel like my body needs it!

Going to try to stay as clean as possible today. I'll report my eats. Cross my heart, hope to die...

I am jealous of Angie's BM2!! I love that workout!! Great numbers Angie!!

Klaudia, my dad and step mom got the shrimp mezzaluna that olive garden is featuring and they both loved it! If you end up going there, the whole wheat pasta is very good, don't hesitate to get it.

Well we will be packing up to go home soon. We need to get back and get our laundry and grocery shopping done for the week.

B'fast will be oatmeal, snack in the car will be applesauce and almonds. I WILL keep it clean today and go easier on the carbs than yesterday.

Katie, good job keeping it clean while away from home! Things here are as clean as I can get them today. Granola and yogurt for bfast. Chicken, mandarin orange, babybell cheese for lunch. Hard boiled some eggs for a snack later this afternoon. Dinner will not be super clean. We have a ground beef stuffed pork loin with cheese on top that we got at the butcher yesterday that Ryan wants. I will just eat a small portion and eat lots of fruits. No veggies in the house - need to work on that!

Today is cleanmax and laundrymax and picture hangingmax. :)

morning kate - how was your night? i do not have a hr monitor either - sometimes i am tempted, but i am too number focused and am afraid i'd push the envelop too hard, if you know what i mean.

we stayed in last night b/c dh got delayed even more (till6:30pm, when we were supposed tobe out), and finn spiked another fever. well, finn did better in his bed last night, but aidan was up from 1am to 3:30. i did make myself get out of bed this am and ran again! i am trying to increase it ever so slowly. eats were 100% clean yesterday, and i feel better today, but i really need to repeat this pattern again to get rid of this water. i have trouble doing the really clean thing more than 2 days in a row, and i am not sure if i am just not eating enough. so, after my 7mil run this am i had oatmeal with walnuts and protien powder mixed in and an orange. snack will be cheese and fruit, lunch will be soup and veg and eggwhites (maybe i need more carbs here?) rest tbd. it is snowing today and dh is at work, so i am in with the kids. hope we do not go crazy.

Waiting for my coffee to brew and for Darrin to come home. I need to get some groceries today and get my workout in when Nevena naps.

Angie, I love good pizza but the weather here was so crappy and Darrin was going right by LC, so I had him pick it up. It's not my favorite, but the kids don't care. Nice job on BM2, I've only done it in total a few times, too. I like the premixes better.

Katie, safe driving. That's exactly the entree Darrin wants to try! Good to know it got good reviews:)

Kate, not to freak you out or anything, but Milla came in my room this morning telling me the tooth fairy didn't put anything under Danica's pillow-because they were talking too much!! I fell asleep and totally forgot!! Freaky! I'll have to use the snow excuse, too, I think! When Darrin dropped off the pizza, he picked up the gifts and dropped them off on his way to plow Danica's school which is right by his aunt's house:) Oh, and while I was working out, my SIL calls and tells Danica that she got a text and has to relay the message to me, not her. So I get all worried, call back, and it turns out she puts Darrin's uncle on the phone who proceeds to rail at me for not coming! He's the PITA uncle-loud, annoying, etc. Needless to say, not happy with her!

Morris, sorry about Finn, but glad you got to stay home, too. I think not eating enough may be my problem, too. Have to add in some more protein and good carbs. Being healthy is hard work!!

Hi Everyone!

Finished grocerymax this morning but they didn't have any turkey breast at the grocery store and DH really wants to try a recipe. So now I have to run out to another grocery store because he just left to play with the boys. Still need to get my workout in too. I did all of HSC yesterday and I was amazed I got through it. The cardio was really tough for me and I stopped early on some of the band work.

Kate, oops on the tooth fairy. Don't worry about it - the tooth fairy forgot about me a couple of times and it has not stigmatized me.
Katie, no snow here yesterday just cold rain. Good job on running outside. It is too cold for me.
Klaudia, how rude for Darrin's uncle to yell out you! I just don't get people sometimes.
Angie, great job on BM2. I think I am going to continue with the circuit city rotation until STS comes. At this point it will probably be February before we get started.

Hi, all! Sorry I was MIA yesterday, but DH is working on a web site, so he was using the computer all afternoon when we were home.

Body Max 2 done! You know, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I don't think I ever need to do the entire thing again. I did skip a few reps and parts of the blasts here and there, but all in all, I got it done. It sounds like you liked it, Angie, I did, too. I can see using the cardio portions for a step day and using the weights portions for a weight day. Or, just making a shorter circuit some time. Anyway, it's done.

DH is at work today, he won't be home until after 6. I'm making pot roast for dinner and trying not to go to El Azteco to pick up take out for lunch (it's greasy Mexican food). But...I did do all of BM2, so....

Dinner Friday night with the girls was fun. Kate, we went to Emil's. I had the pasta limone, which is my favorite dish there. Not clean, but I was good the rest of the day. Yesterday was pretty good for eats, DH made a cheese-pepperoncini-avocado omelette with kiwi slices and orange juice for breakfast. I made more guacamole for a snack, then we had baked pork chops marinated in barbecue sauce, toasted pine nut couscous and satueed onion, garlic, and spinach for dinner. It was pretty tasty.

Angie, I'm not going to do abs tomorrow because I did them today and will do them again on Tuesday and Thursday. I also need to sub something for what you have scheduled. What kind of work out is Turbo Cardio jam? Thanks.

Klaudia, has Darrin made it home? I'm glad you didn't have to go the in-laws, but I can't believe his uncle was so rude to you. That would make me really mad.

Robin, your kettlebell works out sound like so much fun!

uh oh - this si really short b/c finn is now screaming for me. i did get gym style chest and back done - yeah! eats are on track - afternoon snack will be popcorn and fruit, dinner is clean meatloaf and salad. now if i can just make it thru the next few hours with a fussy boy....

are you liking that rotation? i really loved it and i think im going to go back to it starting tomorrow. i got great results from it and felt really motivated during it. the last week i was wanting to do some circuits but overall it was just what i needed.

Okay, dinner's almost ready, I just have to throw in the carrots for 15 minutes, then make gravy. We're also having spinach salad with sauteed mushrooms, raw carrots, and carmelized walnuts. I don't know if the carrots really go with that, but I was chopping them anyway, so...

Kate, you already have a smokin' bod! I know, I met you when you were pregnant, but you looked great then and I'm sure you look great now.

Angie, I found Turbo Jam whatever is kickboxing, so I'm going to do Kick Max tomorrow, without the leg sculpting drills. That'll make it shorter, plus I figure I don't really need them this week with all the circuits. I didn't realize until today that we're doing Boot Camp (original) this week and I'm excited. I haven't done it in forever, so I want to see if I'm better at it than the last time I tried it.

we made lemon poppyseed sugar cookies. so good! i was a portion-controlled good girl. im sending them w/ mike tomorrow so i dont graze on them all day! mmmmmooooooo!!!:D
 
Hey girlies!

In honor of Angie and Anne, I did BM2 Bootcamp Premix! Holy Moly! I hadn't done the cardio portions in ages and they smoked me! Glad to be done! Everyone's dinner's sound so yummy:) We're going to have pasta with meat sauce and salad, I think. I've come to the conclusion that I really need to work on my diet. I do not like what I see in the mirror at all. And I know it's food. As good as I think I eat, I could be doing a whole lot better. So I'm asking you ladies to help keep me accountable. I'm starting by slowly cutting out the sugar in my coffee, switching from 1/2 and 1/2 to skim, and saving the treats for special occasions. I won't be giving up the chocolate-just eating more of the dark stuff. And I think I'm going to cut down on my cereal consumption and switch to eggs, cottage cheese, and oatmeal for breakfast. I'm hoping this will help. What do you think?

Kate, I am green with envy over all your recent purchases! You're smokin' now, by summer, you will be BLAZIN'!!
 
klaudia, i think you look absolutely amazing! i can only dream of having your cute little waist! buti hear ya on cleaning things up. ive been a little lax myself the last couple weeks. nothing too awful just bits here and there. and here and there again..... while i havent gained any weight i sure havent lost anymore either and i really need to pull in this baby belly. the pounds are gone now ive got to work on the shape. but NOTHING can come between me and my cereal for breakfast!
 
Hey ladies, we made it home safely, finished groceryMAX ($150 for a week!!??!!?? kinda high, isn't it???), working on laundryMAX.

Eats have been good today. Chris requested pepperoni bread for dinner, so I made myself my clean-ish version.

We have a birthday at work tomorrow -- that means cake!:eek: Help, I don't want any, it's probably not even good, but it hard to not eat it when everyone else is!

Katie, I wish I could spend only $150 a week! Our grocery bill is around $300 every ten days. Resist the cake!

I ended up making a Michigan Chicken Salad-romaine, chicken, blue cheese, slivered almonds, Craisins, and Newman's Own light raspberry walnut vinaigrette-so good and guilt free:)

I'm getting ready to watch the Golden Globes now:)
