Katie - Have fun at your dad's surprise party and be safe driving there.
Angie - Glad you're feeling better. Do you scrapbook? I have so much to do, but I can't stop buying stuff from my scrapbooking. I just got a Sizzix Big Shot last year, but would love to get a Cricuit.
Patti - I didn't realize you were a lawyer. Glad you enjoyed PLB.
Colleen - Feel better soon and rest up! SB with a cold, wow that is stamina!
Kate - Have fun at the water park! Do you have a water sling? I totally want one for P.
Kath - Welcome! I'm a 36 yo mom of three, ages 8mos, 7 years and almost 10yrs. Oldest is a boy and the other two girls. I do a lot of Cathe wos and started running or should say jogging again. I also go to the gym every once in awhile when I have babysitting available. Morris (Nina) is our runner on this check-in. She rocks the runs!
Klaudia - Have a nice day at the park!
Hi Robin, Morris, Anne!

Thanks for the compliments on P and the well wishes. She seems to be on the mend. Fever has gone done and she is in better spirits than yesterday. AFM, I'm one tired mommy. I lost a bunch of weight, but I'm sure it's from the nursing and no time to snack. I'm hoping I can sneak in some wo today. Eats have been minimal, but mostly clean. I had to just eat when I could which was not often. Maybe I'll take P for a walk outside in the carrier just so I can get out of the house.

Lisa

Shoulders are done-matched or went heavier than Cathe:) I have to say I don't care so much for the new bands-they seem too short. I feel like my range of motion is off. Gonna do a walk/run tonight.

Kate, I caved to a vanilla cone!

Lisa, hope you can get a walk in! And please eat!

Nina, where are you? It's been two days, I think. Hope everything is ok!

Kate: Glad you guys had fun and woo hoo on resisting IC!

Nina: Where are you girl?

Klaudia: Good job on that WO! Do you like doing one body part per day? I've never trained that way. I got out the new bands but haven't used them yet.

Lisa: Oh I remember those days! I remember at Christmas a few years ago we went out of town for 4 days. Max did nothing but nurse all night long and I ate nothing. I lost 7 pounds in those 4 days. I felt like a raisin. :) Take care of yourself and eat even if it is a peanut butter sandwich (which is actually a good thing anyway!).

Dinner tonight- haven't tried it yet but it smells good. I added a zucchini, a can of tomato sauce, used whole wheat bread crumbs, only used 1 pound of turkey and added a bunch of other spices. I'll keep you posted. :)

Turkey Eggplant Casserole
1-1/4 lbs ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large eggplant, cubed
1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes
1 green bell pepper, seeded & diced
1 red bell pepper, seeded & diced
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a 13x9 baking pan with nonstick
cooking spray. Spray a large nonstick saucepan or Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray and place on medium-high heat. Add the turkey, onion and
garlic; cook, stirring as needed, until the turkey is browned and the
onion is softened, 5-6 minutes. Add the eggplant, tomatoes, peppers,
bread crumbs and basil; bring to a boil, stirring as needed.

Transfer the turkey mixture to the baking pan and bake, covered,
until the vegetables are tender, 45-50 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle
with the grated cheese. Bake until the cheese is lightly browned,
about 15 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Patti, I do like it-it's short so there's absolutely no dread factor and it allows me to go heavier. And shoulders are a weak spot for me.

back from dds dwim class. took a short walk while they swam.:)

kl, i had m use the bands...now theyre stretchier!:D:p wtg on shoulders!

p, looks yummy! will add it to my files!:D

Woo hoo! Back from our run/walk. Danica did great! We went 2.3 miles in 30 minutes:) I'm very proud of her!
