Clean Eating - Tues, Oct 18

I thought I'd do ahead and start this since it is my big calorie day on zigzagging and I won't have time to type in all this food later when I go to work!:p

Bf - oatmeal with apple, cinnamon, and splenda
Western omelet Egg Beaters with two links of turkey sausage
and 1 pc WW toast
cinnamon coffee

Sn - sweet potato protein smoothie

Ln - Healthy Choice chicken tortilla soup
Toasted cheese sandwich with WW bread and 2% cheese

Sn - banana and 1 T PB

Dn - Chicken Curry w/ 1/2 cup brown rice
Winter squash - dumpling variety
Lg salad with light honey dijon dressing

Bedtime - 1 cup hot apple cider with a couple of tsp of mulled spice mix

That's showing off ! You already know everything you are going to eat today?????

I can be jealous or try to use you as inspiration and I'm going with inspiration! I definately need some!! Yesterday I was eating very clean and suddenly had an urge for ice cream. I ate TOO much peanut butter cup ice cream and was left feeling bloated and cranky and tired. I KNOW THIS BEFORE I EAT IT , so WHYYYYYYYYY do I still eat it??????????x( :eek: :-(

Soooooooooooo today I am starting over. I had hot tea this morning and an energy bagel bar (from Sam's Club) for my pre-IMAX snack.
Usually I workout on an empty stomach in the mornings, but certain workouts require a snack for me and this is one of them.

I will check in all day, good eating or bad, but I am hoping having to write it down will make me accountable. And reading what you plan to eat Jane, should make everyone want to do better! GOOD , HEALTHY, YUMMY MENU!!! ^5 to you!!:)
 
Becky, I plug all my food into fitday the night before so I know what I am eating. I have found when I don't do this, I am more inclined to slip.
 
Well I feel like Ole' Mother Hubbard today with not much in my cupboard..

Anyhow, I already had my oatmeal w/splenda and green tea

Meal 2- yogurt with almonds

Meal 3- protein shake

Meal 4- grilled chicken and salad

Meal 5- protein bar

Meal 6- Meat and green beans

and I know that is not 2000 cals, but oh well.

1. Fiber 1, cottage cheese, yogurt
2. Metrx
3. egg whites with amaranth-o's and soynut butter
4. ??? if hungry
5. dinner at a friends house because it is DH's bday.

Breakfast - Tri-O-Plex Protein Bar (I am addicted to these things :9 )

Snack - Yoghurt with banana and peanut butter

Lunch - Homemade Beef Stew :9

Snack - Oatmeal with Rasberries

Dinner - Organic Pizza and maybe a salad

Wow you gals are way ahead of the game, I haven't thought this far ahead yet:)

When I get home this is what my day will look like:

B- Oatmeal and flax seed
L- 1 egg 2 egg white, slice of flax seed toast
S- BFL protein bar or protein shake
D- Chicken, potatoe or rice and a salad

I am not 100% sure what my workout will be.I know I am doing shoulders and legs but I am not to sure about my cardio.

Here we go. Warning, there's a BIG unclean meal in the middle of the day:p

1. High fibre bran cereal with banana and soy milk, almonds
2. Apple and 1/2 WW English muffin with natural pb
3. PIZZA (*BOOP BOOP BOOP UNCLEAN WARNING UNCLEAN WARNING*):p and lf yogurt
4. Cottage cheese and pineapple
5. Scrambled egg whites with salsa and lf cheese wrapped in ww tortilla with salad
 
meal one-kashi go lean
snack-banana
lunch-deli turkey meat sandwhich
snak-FF yogurt
Dinner-chicken and a sweet potato and broccoli

That is the plan if I get my appetite back!

That's so far. Problem is, I'm HUNGRY already!!! AND we are going out to dinner tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND.......I have candy corn in the house!!!:eek:
 
Today I have eaten, or will eat....
B-Dannon light n fit smoothie yogurt and luna bar
S-1/4 cup almonds
L-black beans with salsa and non-fat tortilla shell
S-probably a protein shake using choc.soy milk with spirutein pb&choc
D-scrambled tofu maybe...
My refrigerator broke last night so I have to work around that. So frustrating I just bought it 3 years ago. Ugh!!
I did ME/bc combo and I plan on doing a leg wo as well.

Jane - thanks for posting the sweet potato pancake recipe. I've printed it off and will let you know how I like it. Where do you get all your smoothie recipes from? They're very different.

I'm following the Weight Watcher's point system for nursing women. Combined with my activity points I'll earn for doing Muscle Max after lunch, I get 38 points for today. I'll be eating the following:

Breakfast:
small banana
Oatbran with brown sugar and dates
1% milk, 1 cup

Lunch:
Southern BBQ Sloppy Joe (WW recipe; leftover from supper)
steamed cauliflower

Supper:
Chicken Tetrazzini (WW recipe)
sweet potato with 1 tbsp light sour cream
V-Go, 1 cup

Snacks eaten throughout the day:
1% cottage cheese and fresh pineapple
orange juice, 1 cup
cinnamon-raisin english muffin with Twice the Fruit jam
1% milk, 1 cup
Frosted Flakes, 1 1/2 cups (bedtime snack/dessert)

Sandra.. I just make them up and try them. So far they've all been winners. The sweet potato one I thought up one night when I was having a sw. pot for supper. At first I dismissed the idea but then thought that sw. pot pie is made with milk, etc., and I have a recipe for no bake sw pot pie that calls for vanilla pudding, so I thought this would taste like a sw. pot pie with the van. pro. powder and it did. Had one this morning and it was great:9
 
Completely stuck with the clean eating yesterday. Let's hope I can do it today.

B - Protein Shake
S - Protein Bar (was going to have oatmeal, but DH drank the rest of the milk)
L - Salad with chicken breast and balsamic vinegar
S - Apple and plain lowfat yogurt
D - Orange Roughy with sweet potato and broccoli
S - All Natural PB on one piece WW toast

Hey Ladies,
Guess I've almost made it thru day two not too bad. I awoke this am at 5 with a migraine:( YUK. Honestly didn't think I'd make it to work but did. Suprised that I didn't go to pot with my eating just cause I felt bad. Anyway:

B- Oatmeal with splenda and a few walnuts, decaff coffee with splenda
S- organic unsweetened apple sause and a Kashi granola bar
L- Subway grilled chick on wheat with cheese, lettuce, tomato & onion
S- bannana
D- same as breakfast (bad habit!!!!)

evening snack- air popped popcorn

H2O all day

I really need to work on getting my VEGGIES!!!!!!
