Clean Eating Challenge - Tues - 11-29

I'm not a planner, so I'll just post what I had yesterday:

B-old-fashioned oatmeal made with skim milk & black coffee
L-chicken vegetable soup, Luna Bar
S-Luna Bar and decaf coffee
S-a few spoonfuls of low-fat cottage cheese before working out
D-salad made with lettuce, tuna, peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, radicchio, red cabbage. Newman's lite balsamic vinegrette dressing.
S-low-fat popcorn
Late night snack - Healthy Choice ice cream. This was a slip! x(

I slipped last night, too, Nancy, but my slip involved large amounts of chocolate. I could try to keep it out of the house, but then I think I'd find something else to fill the void.
Today:
B - Kashi cereal w/ dried cherries and soy milk, banana
L - PB&J on whole grain, carrots, 2 celmentines
D - soup and or salad, not sure yet
S - some kind of fruit
Hope to avoid chocolate today, or just settle for 1 small piece instead of 2 large handfulls.
HSTA planned for workout. Have a clean day!
 
I slipped yesterday too, when I got home. Eating to make oneself feel better 101...

Today:

B - 2 slices 12 grain toast with 1 tbsp pb and 1 banana, 8 oz soy milk
S - LF yogurt and berries
L - tuna salad on WW tortilla, 1 cup greens, 1 tbsp vinaigrette, 1 clementine
S - red pepper strips and 2 oz part-skim mozzarella
D - leftover brown rice and roast veggies

We'll see if I actually eat any of that.
 
It's always that last hour before bedtime that gives me trouble. As Shelley mentioned, strictly emotional eating. x(
 
Okay, I had 2 slips yesterday. I had a chocolate truffle in the afternoon, then in the evening I enjoyed a cup of hot cocoa. I made it with skim milk though, so that's not too bad, is it?

B - whole grain toast with pb and a clementine
S - cherry tomatoes and mozz cheese
L - chicken sausage and some veg.
S - ?
D - ?
S - ?

I need to go to the grocery store. I'm out of salad fixins' and many other things. I'll be preparing a special dinner tonight because DH had a tough case last night and had to spend the night working. Probably steak for dinner.

Good Morning -

I slipped a little last night too - my snack ended up being on slice of pizza before my workout. It was leftover from my last hurrah bad meal from the weekend - hehe... :) But it is all gone now - so no more temptation there...

Today will be:

B - Egg Beaters, WW English Muffin, Simply Fruit Jam
S - Oatmeal, Protein Shake
L - Salad
S - PB & J
D - Chicken & Veggies (Might make beef brocchli instead??)

Sigh,
Just added a bag of pretzels to lunch
I ate an hour ago, and I'm starving. This doesn't bode well for this evening.
 
I actually went one whole day without chocolate!! :7 I did pretty good yesterday but wonder how long I can continue my "no chocolate" routine.

Here's my menu for the day:

B - protein shake, egg whites and 1/2 veggie sausage
L - chicken salad (same as yesterday) and an apple
snack - protein pudding

not sure what else for today....
 
So far I am doing okay. Could be better, but could be worse too!

B- sweet potato protein smoothie
L- 2 tsp. natural pb on ww tortilla, apple,
S- granola bar

Am still hungry though.....and looking for another snack. No way will I make it until dinner!!
