Clean Eating Challenge - 12-1 Thursday

So far so good. MIL and I are not baking this Saturday as planned because she had ordered some pecans from somebody and they won't be in until next week, so I can breathe a little easier about the cowboy cookies for now!!

On the menu today -

Br - oatmeal, blackberries, egg beaters, one pc WW toast, coffee w/ creamer

Sn - strawberry and banana protein smoothie

Ln - Ham sandwich on WW with mustard, 1/2 cup Go Lean Crunch

Sn - protein bar - have an appt and will be on the run.

Dn - Peanutty vegetable stew again, large salad with blueberry/pomegranate ving.

I'm feeling in the Christmas baking mood but I'm trying so hard to resist doing anything until closer to Christmas when I can share it more!

Today:

B - 1 cup high fibre cereal, banana, soy milk, 1 piece flax toast with pb
S - lf yogurt and apple
L - tuna on WW pita with part-skim mozzarella and avocado, clementine
S - carrots and salsa
D - Not sure - SO is home today so he might cook. Otherwise I will have fish, green beans and a baked yam
 
Kinda busy today
B - kashi, blueberries, banana, soy milk
L - chick pea/pasta soup, scone, clementine
s - fruit
D - salad, fruit
 
Well, I didn't make it to my class (I was on the phone with my baby sister) so I didn't have the fast food dilemma. I did have a little pasta with plain tomato sauce though, but I ate a large green salad with it. I had a clementine for a snack.

Today:

B - 2 poached eggs with ww toast and an orange
S - l/f cheese and cherry tomatoes
L - Tuna on ww with lettuce and tomato
S - protein bar
D - going out with DH --yea!!!
S - depends on dinner

I know it's late, but better late than never right!!

1. protein shake
2. egg white w/peppers and steel cut oats
3. spinach sald with tuna
4. apple and protein shake
5. ? something healthy though.

Here's to a great start for another month of clean eating. We can do this!!!

Might have a sugar free hot chocolate tonight while I watch Survivor . It's cold and has been snowing here all day!
 
Ugh! I'm not doing as well as I'd like to be doing! Last night was dh's bday and we went to Red Lobster. The good news is I had a chicken salad, the bad news is I had a few pieces of chicken tenders and about 2-3 biscuits plus my own lowfat german chocolate cake!

Today:
breakfast - protein shake plus egg whites
snack - cottage cheese and banana
lunch - pasta salad
dinner - baked chicken and zucchini, yellow squash, & red bell peppers and 1 whole wheat tortilla
snack - Orville Red's Smart Pop individual serving size (shared with ds)
plus 3 glasses of wine
and 2 more pieces of my lowfat cake!
