Happy Tuesday everyone,

Today I have to go to a doctor's appointment for Ellie at school - mostly vision, speech, hearing tests. Then I'll get my WOs done. We did PC this morning and it was fine. My calves were hurting though so we'll see how the day goes.

My throat is threatening to be sore. I don't have time for that! Disney this weekend!!

UGH - I'm having a bad day. Fought with dh about something stupid this morning and it just started the day off wrong. Then had to go suffer through a doc appt at the school with Ellie. It just puts me in a bad mood trying to work through something that would be so easy in the States. Then I came home and tried to work out. I got HIS/LIS double cardio done but then started KB/BC cardio power and only got through about 15 min of KB and had to quit because my calves were screaming at me. Which means I'm 300 cals short of my goal of 1000 today. I don't know if I'll try to get a walk in later or not but I'm thinking a soak in the but instead.

Off to pick up the girls for lunch. Give me "good mom" vibes. I don't want my foul mood to rub off on them. :(

WO this morning was STS Meso 3 Week 1 chest and back - felt SOOOOO good to lift heavy again! Collin and I will go to the pool for a swim after work/school this evening for a little extra calorie burn.

katie, nice job with the wos. do you like cathe's slow and heavy? i dvred them and am going to try them this week. hope the tv version is not too off:confused:

yday got worse and worse - talk about emotional pity party.but it is all disapated today. started with a 11 mile fast run, and will do some heavy weight work later. also, my goal this week is to keep snacks simple and short - no long grazing. i was sooo bloated yday, but thankfully it is gone now. i hate hormones!

kate, welcome back. sorry for the jet lag:( imagine poor angie everytime she travels overseas....

Katie, thanks for the advice. I know that I just need to refocus. It's so hard when I get in these slumps... especially during PMS!! WTG on STS! I'm sure it felt great!

Nina, sorry your day got worse yesterday. No fun. I'm glad you got a good start today. Thanks for the encouragement.

I don't know HOW you manage that jet lag! An alarm WOULD be nice! I fell asleep rocking julia early this morning and didn't wake up til 7:30. Bus comes at 7:45. Oops!

I'm nicely sore from STS1 yday. Going to do some Cardio Coach on the ellip this afternoon. Lots of clean food options....tho I ate too much at brekfast. The rest of the day will be top-notch! Must. Lose. Weight!
 
Morning!

The day did not start off good-I was a mean mom this morning:( Feeling super guilty now for my outburst. Must hug my girlies extra hard today. Why can't I be more calm and patient? I think I need parenting classes. Ugh. Anyway, today is a regular day-cleaning, errands, and dance. My workout will be upper body and abs, not sure what yet.

Angie, 700 calories is awesome! Don't stress those other 300. I need those "good mom" vibes too:( I fear I'm scarring them for life. A soak in the tub sounds heavenly. I can't remember the last time I did that.

Robin, hope your work day is short!

Katie, glad your workout was good. That's the most important part I think-doing what you love.

Nina, your yesterday sounds like my today! I'm feeling like I don't deserve to be a mom. Had a good talk with Darrin and my mom. She told me some stuff about my grandma that put things in perspective. Still feel bad though. Great workout! Re:bloat- I have a concave stomach in the morning, but by the time I go to bed I look 3 months preggo:eek: I love S&H:)

Kate, that was part of my problem this morning-not enough time! I need to get the girls up earlier then I wouldn't go off the deep end! Get that workout in!

In a few minutes I can officially announce that I am leaving. I am telling my employees first then I will start telling others. It will be good to have it out in the open. It has been stressing me out to keep it a secret. This morning was Imax 3 and my legs were screaming at me. I might stretch tonight if I have time.

Angie, you had an excellent workout. If your body needs rest, then let it rest. No need to risk an injury.

Kate, LOL on my freudian type slip. That's hilarious. Shows what kind of mood I was in. I did soak in the tub and talked to my mom and worked things out with Ryan so all in all a good day. WTG on your WO! And jet lag... the only way I can say it is it's a b!!

Colleen, YAY for announcement! So fun. Imax 3... for some reason I've been avoiding that one. It won't come this week during Insanity but probably next we'll have to do that one and MIC and the original Imax. :)

Klaudia, (((HUGS))) we all have those days! Sometimes I don't know how I was allowed to be a parent. I am learning to start getting my girls ready a little earlier rather than expect them to move at my pace and getting out the door is a lot easier. Did you get your WO in?

So, tomorrow we have another Insanity. Hopefully my calves will be up for it! And then I think I might do LIC... we'll see. Going to be hard because the kids will be home!

hey everyone - super fun busy day. i hope everyone who feels crummy today has a better day tomorrow. we went to the huge public library this am, had a nice lunch - super clean for me - and i did slow and heavy chest back and shoulders. wow! that one is tough, mentally and physically.

angie, i hear ya on being a "bad " parent sometimes. i feel like i am the only one. i was so short last night. and frazzled. and grumpy:(

kate, you are the only one i know who likes jet lag:p great wo!

klaudia, what did you choose for a wo? i too need more patience.

colleen, i hope it goes okay telling everyone today. thinking of you!

It is unseasonably WONDERFUL here! Spent a long time outside w/ Julia. She's taking a late nap now and I've been cooking chili....simmering now & it smells soooo gooood! Going to make some other stuff too.... cya later!
 
Angie - Hope your day is better tomorrow. Like the other girls said, don't sweat the 300cals. You're burning a lot even with 700. Hope the soak helped your mood.

Katie - Have you decided what to do for Collin's Xmas presents re: the dolls? I say if he enjoys them, why not? I do feel your conflict though because you don't want him to get teased and all that, but I so don't believe in gender only playing kwim? My ds used to wear my heels all the time as a toddler and now at 10yo he vehemently denies it, but I have the pics to prove it, lol.

Kate - Glad you enjoyed CO! I struggle to get up in the am to get my kids off on the bus. Their bus comes at 6:45 also so usually I get up then sneak in my wo while P is still asleep. Mmmm...chili sounds good!

Klaudai - I'll sign up with you for those parenting classes. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all do that as parents. Some of the moms that have girls that cheerlead with my dd were talking about our mean mommy moments and it's nice to know we're not alone kwim? We all have those "psycho mom" moments I like to call it, lol. I know I do!

Colleen - Yay for finally being able to let everyone know. Hope your new job is a good one!

Okay, I am officially on the P90X rotation. Let's see how long I last. I was pretty good with Insanity until the last week and I was bored. I did parts of the last week and wasn't even interested in doing my fifth and final Fit Test since my fourth was a big improvement from my first already. So I did Plyo and Ab Ripper this am. Tomorrow is Shoulders & Arms which is actually one of my fave P90X wos. I figure when I'm bored, I'll sub Shock Cardio on the Plyo days. We'll see how it goes. Eats have been good today. I made cc cookies the other night for the fam, but of course some made its way to my mouth. Anyhoo, hope you girls have a great week ahead. I finally have some down time ahead and it's nice to know it's coming soon! Last two weeks of football and ballet is now on Tue/Th so I have free weekends for about a month until ds starts up with basketball. Is everyone done or started with Xmas shopping???

Very productive day here:) Got my laundry done, a bathroom cleaned, the house vacuumed, and a workout! I did BM2 uppper body and abs. Eats are good. Dinner is in the oven-baked drumsticks, baked fries, and corn on the cob:) And there's an MSU basketball game on tonight. And my kids still love me;)

Colleen, glad the monkey is off your back! Now you can focus on the new challenge that awaits:) Good luck!

Kate, We had chili last week-I could eat it all winter! I turned the heat off and opened windows all while burning evergreen scented candles:)

Lisa, it is comforting to know I'm not alone. But if anyone ever saw me during one of those momnets-omg! Good luck with P90X! I hav a love/hate relationship with it. I got awesome results-my avatar was taken after I got done with a round-but it gets so boring! Shoulders/Arms is my favorite! No shopping OR decorating even for us yet. Maybe Sunday:)

Xmas shopping - haven't started. But we don't buy for adults - just our own kids & niece/nephew. It got to be too much and we said no more. At first there was some complaining from one side but not anymore.

Klaudia, Glad your day turned around! Pretty productive here too.

Need to go get productive again and get my house picked up. All is well til the tornado that is my family comes home from school/work!:eek::p

I should do core work.... blech. :p
